Don't Get Injured In Nj If You're Poor...
Last thursday I went and got an excersise ball. Went to do a push-up on it and heard "tear, crack, pop". I thought I had just pulled a muscle but as the weekend progressed the more the shoulder hurt. The pain was getting unbearable. Well I was finally talked into going to the hospital. And for those who know me, will tell you I DON"T do hospitals. I actually walked off a shattered foot 3 years ago so... Anyway, I spent 4 hours in the emergency room had x rays taken and then to be told i seperated my shoulder and was sent home with a sling and aftercare notes for a "sprained ELBOW"! No pain meds... I couldn't believe it. I am in such pain at times that everything gets bright and washed out and then I feel very spacey. Selina has been a lifesaver and gave me the few pain pills she had left over from her mouth surgery. I have been taking half at a time, trying to streach them out, got 2 left. I then called the dr the refered me to. I was told since I have no insurance I would have to pay

Smoking Ban Bs
Last night I spent the evening at the county board meeting. It was held at the Civic Center, because there were too many people to fit in the regular board rooms for this one. I was there to speak my mind as were many others on the new bill that they were trying to pass to ban smoking in bars and outside the workplace. We spoke our minds to no avail. Beginning June 1st, the county in which I spend most of my time working and just hanging out goes smoke free, IN BARS! My question is where do we draw the line! The Bay
As I am setting on the pier watching the trout pop, I wonder how many miles did they have to swim and how many hooks did they dodge to make it out to Baffin Bay? The water is so peaceful a calming wind out of the north brings a chill to the air, but it is so refreshing, It is peeling away the old alowing the new to shine through. I love coming down to the bay hearing the birds fight over the leftover from the fishing trips, and watching people take pictures of there big catche.. Yah, I don't really care. It kinda makes other places less crowded though, so that's nice. Lastyear I went skiing. It was awesome. It was snowing and stuff, excellent ski conditions. So last night I took Luvy to the mall cause she wanted to go to Hot Topic. The purpose of the trip was to get her a spike bracelet for the concert we’re going too but they were closed for “cleaning.” Anyway so we head over to Spencer’s instead where she picks this really cool black bracelet with pink hxc crosses on them. Of course I told her to pick something I could reach so she picks the one about two arms length over my head. But I had some 7 foot tall kid come get it for me. Sadly she’s gonna look more rock than me at this show. LOL And a little side funny to this. I went grocery shopping with my mother a few years ago to help her out and she had me reach up for a can of Gandules for her because and I quote, “you’re tall.” I was so embarrassed cause I’m only 5’2”. Iowa Class Battle Ships
Please take a moment and view the new photos I've posted under "Battle Ships". The North Carolina is prior to the Iowa Class and not quite as modern or fast. There were only four Iowa Class Battle Ships: The USS Iowa-BB-61, USS New Jersey BB-62, USS Missouri BB-63 and USS Wisconsin BB-64. These ships all go back to the 1094's and were built for the 2nd World War. There has never been nor will there ever be a more graceful dreadnought. They each were very fast and deadly. There firepower was tremdous. President Reagan brought then out of retirement and retro fitted each of the four in the '80's!! They each continued in service throughout the 1990's. They are now out of service but we as tax payers got our money's worth!!

Looking On The Brigher Side Of Things
I have been trying to find a silver lining in situations that look bad. My most recent learning expirence has been working to unthaw froze pipes. I went a week with out water and discovered that I had 1 bad pipe fitting and later learned that one pipe had actually split. Well being as how the water was still froze somewhere..there wasn't a big mess under my house. This is a good thing and made changing out the fitting and cutting off the damaged section of pipe easy. I have a old house and some insane person must have ran the plumbing so it doesn't have a shut off vavle where the water comes in..yet. That will be one of many projects this spring. Learning to look on the brighter side of things should help my self esteem some. (I hope) At work we watched a saftey movie right before Christmas about Charile, a guy who got horribly burnt in a fire at a gas refinery. I swear companys are more focused on the bottom dollar then hiring people who can actually take care of their customers. Sure they get scripts upon hiring/training that include troubleshooting, phrases to sound sympathetic or concerned about a clients phone call. But in all reality, its prolly some schmo who is picking their nose, clock watching, chatting on yahoo on the side or lastly one who never was able to fulfull their dream of being that engineer or doctor or dentist. Come on people, when u answer that phone, listen to the customer, dont just say "yeah or ok" if ur able to offer a discounted coupon even for a system burp do so. Its not like u get a bonus for keeping em in ur desk. Go the extra mile, take time to actually help the customer vs trying to take the most calls in an hour so u can get ur employee of the month certificate or company polo. Blizzard
Well I had to change my pic back to blizzard. We are getting another blast from mother nature. There is another pic of same view but on a clear day, in the backround the dark blue line is Lake Erie. So when you look at pics you see the weather isn't all bad, wonder when I will be able to venture outside again. At least I had the fireplace taken care of. Maybe that could explain my headache, seems for one the steel insert pipe for chimney was moved somehow, and top was gummed up with creasote, and even my chimney guy was surprised, he just cleaned it in the last year, no way should it have been that bad, but smoke and all was filling the house when you opened the woodstove to add wood. I was nervous so I called in the inspector. He installed it, he inspects them and has to have license to do so, I was not crazy for worrying about chimney fire. So for now I will go back to my fireplace and watch a movie, and cuddle with my cats.

Wassail - Take Your Pick
English Wassail Ingredients: 1 pint water 1 cup of honey 4 cloves 3 sticks of cinnamon 2 lemons thinly sliced 1 bottle medium dry red wine Directions: Boil together water, honey, cloves and cinnamon for five minutes. Add two lemons thinly sliced and allow the mixture to stand for 7 or 8 minutes. Add a bottle of medium dry red wine and heat slowly until just below boiling point. Then pour into a jug and serve hot. Movies...
I want to talk about movies. Last weekend we went to see a couple of movies. The first we saw on Friday. It was called, "Epic Movie". From the commercials and advertisements, it seemed like a good choice. It starred one of my favorite actors, Kal Penn. Now, this movie brought on completely new definitions of the word, suck. It should be burned on the pyre of bad decisions (right next to '28 Days Later', 'Unbreakable', and 'Ishtar'.) and never see the light of day again. What in the world possessed the studio to make such a bad movie? It must have seemed like a good idea right after 'Narnia' came out, but with all the time that has passed, most of the jokes are too old to be funny. The second movie we saw made up for the horror that was 'Epic Movie'. We went to see 'Hannibal Rising'. On Saturday the 10th, I did something bad. I listened to NPR and during their show 'Weekend Edition Saturday' they interviewed Rev. Tim Ralph. Tim happens to be one of the 4 men who stamped the Ted Haggard package unequivocally hetero. Now, one of the major kickers is that Rev. Ralph just happens to be a former sufferer of SSAD, homosexuality. He admitted during the show that through mental training and an admittance of sexual abuse at a young age, he was able to come to terms with his sexuality. During the interview Rev. Ralph said several times that they had a 60% success rate even though, he also admitted, they didn't keep track of all their patients after they left the undisclosed Arizona facility. Being Poor Sucks Ass

ok so like 6 months ago my dad's cats had kittens and i ended up with 3 female cats. well my sister took one so that left me with 2 females....or so i thought. anyways a couple weeks ago, one of the females kept attacking the other, while they were wrestling (yeah right) i noticed something that shouldn't have been between my one females legs. so to make a long story short my female now has her balls cut off and is really pissed at me.

Follwing on from what happened to my friend and with her relationship. After what happened, and all your comments and emails, they are still together. She went to her GP and sorted it out. Hopefully she will be alright. If something like that happened to me, i would agree with all your comments and feedback. I would finish the relationship there and then. However i am not her and she is not me, i can only be there for her as a friend, what she choses to do at the end of the day has got nothing to do with me. Its her life and if she is happy with the way it is then i am happy for her. Moving
So we just closed on our house in Antioch and started to move in when my father got orders saying we are to report to Ft Rucker Alabama by March 16th. The biggest thing is am I going yo be moving with my family down south, stay in our newly built house or get an apartment in Chicago. I'm kind of excited....kind of not. I'm ready for a change of scenery however I don't want to leave the people I have here. The "story" Of My Life
Okay so most of you don't know the WHOLE story to my confusing life and events that lead up to me having a million siblings (LOL). So here is some info that you might find useful in understanding me. My mother and father(Scott) were dating and she ended up getting pregnant with yours truly. After a few months they broke up and she went on with her pregnancy by herself. She went to visit my grandparents in Glendale Heights, Illinois and went into labor early. So my Aunt and my Grandma coached my mom through the most riveting experience of her life ;)!!! She ended up staying with them for a little while. When I was a couple months old she went back to the Chicago area and brought me to see my dad (Scott). They got back together for a little while and my mom wanted to settle down and for my dad (Scott) to make a commitment. He didn't, so they split up. My mom and I went to live with my Aunt Terry for awhile and when I was around 6 mo. old or so my mom was introduced to my dad (Howard).

Stressed...
So for the past couple weeks for some reason ive been super stressed. I know about a month ago i officially quit smoking but dont think that has anything to do with. I know the medicine ive been taking hasnt been letting me sleep very well at all. I might get like 3-4 hours if im lucky. So my guess is the lack of sleep on top of work is seriously driving me crazy. So besides stopping taking my medicine does anyone have any other remedy for not being so stressed out? Ever Have A Dream Like This?
Last night, I dreamt that for some reason, we were in my car driving back from springfield to my house. and by we, i mean myself, my brother, john goodman, and roseanne barr. both were in character from the show, "Roseanne." john goodman's driving, roseanne's shotgun, and my brother and i are in the back seat. i casually notice he's going about 85mph in snow, and i mention i don't usually do that on dry pavement, let alone snow. sure enough, we get all the way to my house, and he spins out about 100 yards from the driveway. in doing so, we slide off the road, into the ditch, but in my dream, my road ditch turned into a 20 foot ravine with a creek about 8 feet deep. john goodman, roseanne, my brother, and i all get out fine, but my brother's in the water, diving to get anyone else out of the lumina. he doesn't find anyone, and all i can think about is, "how am i going to get my car out of this creek and into my driveway?!" and then i woke up.

Winter ... Will It Ever End?

What A Question To Ponder...
I was having one of those thinking moments earlier. LOL. I need or should say seek some input. You might think I am too much of a logical thinker, but then again maybe that is my problem. Ha ha ha ha. Anyway. If you never have the "break-up" fight, but you and the other person seem to just slip away from each other, are you broken up? If not, then are you cheating even though you don't have contact or communication with the other person? LOL. Here is why I am thinking about this. I am "dating" this guy. I really like him because I could be myself around him. I didn't have to pretend or anything. I didn't have to dress to the nines, he liked me for who and what I was, but we haven't exactly talked lately.
