Remember The Victim More, Not The Perpetrator
Why do we live in a society where we pay more attention and give more notoriety to the people who commit crimes of murder and other unspeakable acts more than the people they have done it against? Look at the news or read the paper...it's all about book deals or movies of the week or whatever publicity these people get. Very sad that if I chose for instance to do something for example...in the end people would remember me more than the person I did it to. Where are the Larry King specials for the victims...where are their book deals or movie scripts...where is their publicity? Scott Is Alive And Home !!!
I got a call from Scott this morning. He let me know that he is alive and wanted to know if he could come over so we could all sit down and talk. I told him yes of course. Everything is going well, I'm measuring a little earlier than we thought. We couldn't find out the sex and the baby is breech. I have found a doctor and hospital willing to work with me to do what I want to do. Doing a VBAC is much more safe than having another csection, why some people can't understand this I don't know. Why in the world would you want to have major surgery and risk more than doing it nautrally and risk less. Giving birth in any way is a major risk in itself. I know some people haven't done research and don't understand the facts. Some people thought I should just go along with all the other doctors who said I would need another csection but I have found a doctor that will do a VBAC. I went to school at Oakland Elementary till I was in the fouth grade, then moved into the new school that was built. I was lucky that I went to the same school all thru grammar school. I didn't have a lot friends, usually kept to myself most of the time. After graduating the 8th grade, I went on to high school at Fayette Ware in Somerville, TN. My freshman year I was at the old South Campus and my sophomore year I was at the new school where all four grades were there together...it was a lot kids there and I only had 5 minutes to get to class. One Year Into Forever ♥
So today marks our first Anniversary of being together.. not our wedding ann. (which is March 6 :D) So within this past year... I met the man of my dreams,fell head over heels for him. Time
It's amazing how time really does change things, and thankfully it's usually for the better. It allows all time to grow and think. i for one am so very very thankful that time was on my side in regards to certain recent things in my life. Making it so someone from my past and i have been able to once again get closer and share things like we used to. "Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. Umm Ok ...
Had a weird dream last night. I had a tattoo on the back of my right hand (a red and green yin & yang) that I had had for a while when suddenly the black ink around the edges started peeling off almost like it was tape and the red and green ink welled up onto the top of my skin, turned the consistency of wet paint and poured off of my hand. I can usually interpret my dreams (many years as a psych major), but I have no idea what this one means. It should be noted that I don't have a tattoo in that spot and would never get one. I had an IV stuck into the back of my hand some years ago and given how much that hurt, I can only imagine how bad a tattoo would be.

Starting Over
Getting back on your feet after a divorce is really hard. Thats why i was probably so scared to get the divorce because i didnt think i could make it on my own. I look at my life and never thought i would be where i am now: divorced, living with my parents, no vehicle or job, and a single mom. Ive found in my choices and in my experience...that there is no choice for me. Its never as easy as black and grey. Its just a decision i guess. And im not talking about drugs. I'm not sober now...not really using that much either, which is odd. Ive found (for me) thats the emphasis on that part of my life isnt important for some reason. I can tell u that I was never as happy in my life as when i was sober (GOD), but i wasnt very happy either. Not all that happy now. I dont know what makes me happy. A man and his wife had been stranded on a deserted island for many years. The morning following a bad storm, a new guy washes up on the shore. A Conversation about the Cookies Not sure if what I did is going to work, but this is the original recipe I found online: Peanut Butter Oatmeal No Bake Cookies (No Wheat / No Egg) Recipe 125209 | 11 min | 10 min prep Cookies in five minutes! In a desperate attempt to find something to do tonight I decided to go for a ride on my roommate's mountain bike. I see students on campus all the time riding their bikes around, and we have some good sidewalks and hills so I figured I'd give it a try. That was a mistake! Holy crap I forgot how difficult it was to ride a regular bike. I haven't done it in, uh, fifteen years? I gave up self propelled transportation at an early age thanks to my facination with motorcycles. I *should* have taken my motorcycle for a ride, but hindsight is twenty-twenty. Not wanting to just quit and go home, I rode for a couple of miles, returned exhausted, sore, and in pain (who the hell designs the seats for these things?). City Of Ember/bride Wars
The City Of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau is a Yearling publication and targeted for those ages eight to twelve. I would classify it as young adult science fiction. It is a decent book for that age group, but the story lacks a lot and is rather slow moving at points. The novel is about Doon and Lina and their city. Doon and Lina are both twelve years old and in Ember all kids at age twelve are assigned a job. The novel talks about their jobs, their city and the problems they and the city encounter. The city was only supposed to exist for about 220 years, but the instructions to get out were not passed down as they should have been so no one is aware of this. This city is a city of darkness, no sunlight, with street lamps being the only source of light. The characters lack any real depth until the last three chapters. They are not well developed. I stopped in e mega-bookstore after dropping my kids off at ex-zilla's. I had an hour to kill before I could pick up my c-pap. Anyways -started reading this book on 'microtrends'. My Best Friend
today i lost my best friend, i know you are all gonna think im stupid for being so cut up about losing a dog after all he was just a dog right? wrong, i got my dog from the local pound 3 weeks after my dad died, my dad was my everything, and i nearly took my own life after he passed on, i thought if i got a dog, it would take my mind off everything and life could go on. well i went to the pound to look for a puppy that i could raise and train and stuff, i walked passed the puppies for some reason, and stopped outside a cage containing the most shaggy pathetic dog i had ever seen. i looked into his eyes, and he wagged his tail and i knew i had to have him. they tried to talk me out of it because he was an abused dog and was due to be euthanized the next day, but i put my foot down and said i had to have him i named him cecil because he was found on cecil street in my city. they didnt know how old he was but the vet said he was between 2 and 4 years old. i got him shave

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be "normal" but I guess I will never know. I guess I seem normal to most, but it's all just a show.
