Last Tuesday (April 5th) I got a hysterical call about 9:30 pm from my mom saying I needed to get back home (in Ohio) that my brother had shot himself. That 3 hour drive took only about 2.5 hrs this particular trip and still felt like an eternity to make. When I reached OSU Medical Center I found out he had been life flighted and had already undergone brain surgery to stop the bleeding and remove the loose brain matter. Edinburgh's first plague doctor was John Paulitious, who died in June of 1645. The man appointed as his successor, George Rae, was promised huge amounts of money to take on the job. I'm Back!
I have been receiving many questions about where I have been. Taking a break? Vacationing? Fell of the face of the earth? I used to have an ISP called sigecom and recently a company out of colorado springs bought them out. They are called WIDE OPEN WEB or WOW. They started last friday to upgrade servers and the routing within the server structure from servers to hubs to links and all. I just woke up a bit ago and will be heading into work yet again today. This will make my 18th day in a row of working. Not a full shift though for all 18 days. I have been working a lot of the time it seems for my fundraising activities that I volunteered for. Today there is a luncheon and a dinner to attend to raise some money from some of the wealthiest business people in the area. Of course I need to go out and buy something new for the occasion tonight ... rather on the semi-formal wear ... it should be fun. I came into this movie with high expectations, I must admit. I was one of the people who loved the first Hellboy. I liked the style it was filmed, I liked the script, and the casting was great. So when I heard that the people who did "Pans Labyrinth" joined forces with Hellboy, I got a woody. I felt that there was absolutely nothing that could go wrong with the mixing of the two. Guillermo del Toro directed, wrote, and produced this movie. It seemed like the first minute was his name over and over, he did so much. I wouldn't be surprised if he catered it. Moving Back . . .

It's Official
I'm old!!! AND I get surgery Nov 11th to shave the bone in my back, and move the nerve, so its not pressing, and the pain and numbness in my leg will go away...in theory. Dr. McCall says that there is an 85-90% success rate for this type of back surgery, and as they go, not many complications. I won't need a brace after, and I won't be able to drive for a month. By mid January, I should be able to go back to work doing light duty. No lifting over 10 pounds for 6 weeks after. I'm so stoked, I can't wait!!!

Drama Again
Why is it that every time there's Drama here between my friends i get put right in the middle of it. Im a kind person who tries to make friends with every body i have a really big heart any always try to help out. But when ever 2 of my friends get in to it i get stuck right in the middle (always). There's this guy, we've had this thing for a few months. Things started going really great and I started having real strong feelings for him. Well this morning I had a nervous breakdown. Week 6
This is going to be a busy week for your amazing little embryo. Let us not forget the memories of people we have lost but, don't let us dwell upon their death. Very few people come into your life that can change your way on thinking how people can be so good to one another. Falling Off The Wagon
The other day I fell off the wagon and cut myself several times on my wrist. It has been a few months since I had done it last and can't really pinpoint a reason why I did it. I saw the razor blade and felt a surge of adrenaline that rivals any high I have ever had. Taking the razor across my wrist, seeing the first tiny drops of blood was like a release. There has been a few things that have really bugged me lately... So I decided to write about them. We moved back into our apartment today, it was only 10 days in a hotel, but it felt like an eternity. I have done nothing but clean since I got off work and I'm dead tired. The cleaning crew did the shittiest job I've ever seen in my life. The kitchen floor didn't come clean and it will have to be replaced completely. A New Journey
I have often thought of what I would do if I finally got the chance to start life again. Now I have my chance to find out. The end of 2009 gave me many setbacks, many finishes of parts of my life. This Mornings Travels.
Right now I have to walk my kids to school. Normally they're bused but they have a policy that states when you reach a certain grade you have to live outside of a certain distance in order to take the bus. I had mentioned before about going out sometime at lunch and hitting the range. Today me and my friend from work did just that. We had called an hour before and they said they were open, but we got there and they were full. We kicked around the the store a bit, and then a lane got open. I was watching the verdict being read today in regards to Caylee Anthony. Her mom was accused of killing her. The verdict came bac not guilty. How can a parent do that. She had no emotions when the verdict was read but she got up and hugged her attorney after everything was said and done. We have another storm headed for us...Sigh!! Monterey Bay
Early in the morning to rise, get them out and give them a safety briefing and signed out of the area. Board two vans and my car and we are off. Silly LT wants to go through Los Padres and up Hwy 1 to Monterey, a 2 1/2 hour trip. 3 stops later because of car sickness, we arrive in Monterey. A Stop for coffee, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Bubba Gumps, A Glass Bottom Boat ride, Shopping, lots of shopping and an urgent call to return due to a large vegetation wildland fire. 80 to 85 all the way back on Hwy 101. Get back, on standby, not so urgent afterall. The entire time having fun, right? Yes, however my mind always drifted off to Oregon and Lynda. That is where I wanted to be all day.

Midnight Swim
It was nearing midnight. One last swim in the pool wouldn’t hurt anyone. She really needed it. It was hot and humid. Stifling inside the hotel room, even with the air conditioner running full blast.
