My Special Friend
I have a special friend. We've been friends for almost all my life, and I expect he'll be around for a long time. Ok, I have already blogged MySpace about this. I don't want to offend anyone here but just hear me out. I am a member of both MySpace and of The LC and I am very happy with both. I have certain family members that are not nearly old enough to join LC yet, and live out of state that is how I keep in contact. And other older people who are quite frankly offended by nude pics and such so have no interest in joining. I know that MySpace is slow and is not as much fun as LC but it is alot more private for my family and personal friends. I'm not trying to piss anyone off or offend anyone this is just my personal opinion and I will not take any offence to any comments left here. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

My Special Day~graduation~
I am having a tough time sleeping because I am about to receive my Associates Degree of Arts & Sciences from college today. Despite the obstacles of non-support from family members, and someone who I thought would stand by me, I am getting this degree with the love & support of my kids and friends from NYC. I have some cool friends online and wish they were here...If I name them, we would be here for a while..but let me say that I love them so much and am glad that I know them. Do u sometimes feel that sometimes u feel all hope is lost, then something good comes along and makes it all better? You know what really grinds my gears? This MySpace top 8 thing. You know how people bug ya to be in their top 8 and they tell ya if they're not there then you're not really one of their friends? MySpace announced today it will begin searching its 100 million-plus user list for people listed in a national database of sex offenders. "We are committed to keeping sex offenders off MySpace," said MySpace's Chief Security Officer, Hemanshu Nigam. "Sentinel Safe will allow us to aggregate all publicly available sex offender databases into a real-time searchable form, making it easy to cross-reference and remove known registered sex offenders from the MySpace community. A security researcher on Friday blasted adware maker Zango for targeting popular social networking site MySpace as a distribution channel, a charge the company had previously denied. Myspace Responds To States' Request For Sex Offender Data
MySpace responded Tuesday afternoon to the letter sent by eight states' attorneys general Monday requesting the popular social networking site to turn over data pertaining to registered sex offenders who have profiles on the site. I have had a myspace profile for quite some time. About 40% of the users there are commercial spammers. Some are easy to detect, others are more sneaky. Some will actually try and phish your password and then spam all your friends with your account. People post huge files to you profile which makes it take forever to load even with broadband. So I have become disenchated with this website as you all know. When it was Lost Cherry I was on here all the time, bought blasts, met people, cared about points, all of it. Then CherryTap and NSFW stuff came along, I dealt with that. Did a little bitching but went along. I deleted my naughty pics, made separate folders for the things other people deemed naughty and basically conformed. I got a boyfriend and didn't come around much for awhile. The Myspace angle is the angle from which pictures are taken that includes head, shoulders, and cleavage only. The rest of the body is kept out of site only showing only the important parts that people find attractive. Usually girls and guys do this to hide the fact they are over weight.
