Skeleton found in overgrown tree OAKLAND PARK, Fla., April 29 (UPI) -- An Oakland Park, Fla., man said he discovered a skeleton inside his overgrown tree that investigators believe has been there since last year. Glenn Parker said he saw the skeleton in the tree after trimmers cleared some of the foliage for BellSouth phone line service crews, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Tuesday. The Broward Sheriff's Office said the death is believed to have been a suicide with no suspicion of foul play. Parker said authorities are working to determine whether the bones belong to a former roommate of his who disappeared about one year ago.

This is the story of how I became who I am. Everybody has one, some are worse, some better. I thought I'd share mine for those who care to get to know the real me a little better. I was born in San Diego, California the day before my parents first wedding anniversary. My mother was seven years younger than my dad, he was the boy next door. She married him to get away from her parents. She had me to keep her occupied because she hated my father. There are hundreds of pictures of me as a baby dressed up in different outfits. My Sanity
Last week was the worse week of my life. Friday night I went to a concert and got whiplash from people being thrown on my head. Sunday I got stung by a yellow jacket on the cheekbone and my eye swelled up, looked like someone beat the shit out of me Monday I woke up sick as a dog Thursday they turned my gas off because of some stupid bank mistake I made and it cost me 125.00 + the 59.00 bill I owed to get it back on Thursday night I went to 378 and my car started acting up. Friday went to pay the gas bill and get it turned back on (never had utilities turned off in my life!) And my car completely died! Had to call someone to come tow me. Friday afternoon after my car broke down (I guess the last straw) I started shaking and hyperventelating. Thought I was going to have to go to the ER or something. I just stayed in bed all day, took 2 hydrocodones (made me better) Then the guy I am seeing says he will fix my car. I said it's a sensor or the fuel filter. O

Part 1 :0( Well, Howard left today for Korea. Took him to Philly today at 0530. Last I talked to him was around noon he was in Georgia waiting to board his connection. It's now about 657 pm and I haven't talked to him since Georgia. As much as I would like to pretend that nothing is wrong and I am as happy as can be that he left, well it's not true. I am sad. I feel lost and I feel lonely. We may not get along with one another most of the time but I need him more than he knows. Hell more than I know. So at 0530 this morning (Oct 8) we loaded up the kids and drove to Philly airport. I dropped him off curbside (it was madd packed in that place) and gave him one last hug and one last kiss, well at least for the next year. I am saddened, lonely, and depressed. Now we play the waiting game, waiting for him to call me to let me know he made it to Korea safe and sound. So well anyway thats the latest on the Conklin Homefront.

I think I may be quitting Starbucks. I hate having to work on weekends, and I'm always tired again. Which isn't good. My levels are normal and I'm not getting sick, like I thought (YAY!) The only two explanations I can think of is that an onslaught of depression is setting in/will be setting in shortly, or my hormones are off again. Sigh. Why can't my body work normally? Anyway, this is about yesterday. I called in sick to work, and was told that because I didn't find anyone to cover my shift, my manager had no choice but to write me up. Whatever. I couldn't stop throwing up for longer than five minutes at a time. But it WAS my fault that that happened. I was put on antibiotics for my skin on Friday, because, well I'm almost 27 for fuck's sake...this breaking out bullshit is for the birds. My skin wasn't this bad in hischool. So today was kinda cool. Then I have to get the mobil kitchen restocked and set up on a site that a good friend here in Muddy Pond has allowed me free access to. Then it's about every half hour to load more hickory into the smoker to maintain the proper temp to make my Butts yje old fashioned way of slow and low cooking so they will melt in ur mouth tender.. Funny our motto is "Que so tender you don't need teeth" which was thought up by a great customer. Now I pull the kitchen 1 1/2 miles and level it on site at around 7:oo and retuen to keep the smoker tended which will some times allow me to be on line or just ply eith my rwo cats Goldie and Tink.

A few of you know this... I completed training for the US Census enumerator job last Friday. I was trucking along Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I really was enjoying it! Tuesday, I get a letter from the Bureau stating I had to stop working. It was dated the day I finished training. I called my crew leader, and he called the local census office. Yes I was to cease working. No they weren't sure the exact reason, just something in my background check. So I gave back the binder of addresses from which I was working, came home and decided to work in the yard some. Well i almost lost my soldier this weekend. he went out running in 104 degree temp and collasped. Lucky he was with a friend and they got him to the hosptial.I just found out today cause he left his cell phone in his room. I suffer from depression, and some people don't understand what that means, let alone care to understand. I was born with depression and social anxiety disorder. It's not something that can be fixed easily. One of my friends hurt my feelings the other day with a comment about anti-depressants, but I try to tell myself she just doesn't know so why wouldn't she think that. I was on Paxil for 2 1/2 years, and it was like a whole new world was opened up for me. I saw everything in a whole new light. Then the Paxil wore off around April of this year and I have been struggling to find a new drug to help me. I tried Celexa and that had very bad side effects for me. Okay So I started my senior year in high school Life was good, My last year in school, No worries, A new neice to be proud of..yes life was good.
