Kevin DuBrow, lead singer of the popular 1980s heavy metal band Quiet Riot, has been found dead from unknown causes at his home in Las Vegas, authorities said on Monday. I only bring this up now beecause my life is always going to be a life of surgeries on and off both major and minor ones. Normally I take these more minor of operations (compared to what I have had and what lies ahead) with grace and little worries but in light of the wickedly crappy year this has been I am kinda freaking out a bit. I remember most of my service rather vividly. I remember the few good times, I remember virtually all of the bad. And there was a lot of it. Given more than you take and taking less than you give. Owning up to any mistakes you made. Having the tenacity to continue. Learning that individual strength begets collective strength. Good leaders come from great followers. For this is a true statement. Good things take time. Great things take even more time. Remember your past for it is your experience. Lean Pocket Recall: Latest in a Series of Food Risks by Staff Thousands of a chicken-stuffed Lean Pockets are being recalled because the microwaveable food may contain plastic pieces, the U.S. government said. Nestle Prepared Foods Co. in Mount Sterling, Ky. is recalling about 200,000 pounds of frozen stuffed chicken sandwich products after the company received consumer complaints, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a news release. The recalled products are 9-ounce boxes of Lean Pockets Spinach Artichoke Chicken -- 2 sandwiches with a Best Before date of Nov 2009 followed by a package code beginning 8144 544616. Since I was born I was brain washed into a Religion by my mother. She sent me to a private catholic school for six years until I begged her to let me go to a public school. I was never exposed to anything but Christianity and when I did see something different, like Jewish holiday specials on t.v., she told me that they were the right faith for them, but we were the right faith too. I think the whole Leap Year thing needs to be completely revamped. Looked over again. I mean with today's technology, why not? Global warming? IT"S FUCKING COLD! Every year the cold season seams to start a little later...and end a little later. Not by much, but enough to notice after 30+ years. Could we perhaps be miscalculated on the whole extra day thing? Leap Day
My girl arrived on time and after a simple dinner we started the process of unloading my toy bag. Needles, ropes, fire cups. a tens unit. red vinyl slapper and my safety equipment all out on my table while her eyes getting bigger with each item. Just the other day, my mom found this stack of old photos of me and my brother Jordan (20) and my sister Alex, (23). In one of the pictures my JOrdan was maybe 3 months old. This is my first exposure to an online community, it has been quite an experience. I was overwhelmed at first, learning overload. I am relatively new to computer world, so I have been still learning the basics. But with each step I take and each new lesson learned, it fills me with awe. A few months ago, I was at the library and the computers were down, a sign said it would be a couple of hours before they went back online.I decided to use the time to search for something in a book. When I approached the librarian and asked him where I could find the desired material, he got a confused look on his face. I asked him what the problem was. He told me he was at a loss as to how to find the reference materials I wanted without the computer to tell him where it would be found. I thought to myself, how dependant we have become on computers in such a relatively short period of time. I had waited so long to start my education in the cyber world, until it was beginning to concern me.

Life’s Challenges. One day I woke up like any other ordinary day, with My Mom yelling in the background “ Get Up for School or else your not going to be going to work tonight.” Sounds like any ordinary life right? Well, first things first. Last night my brother and I had a conversation where he actually made sense. Anybody who knows him knows that this is a very rare occasion, especially if it doesn't have anything to do with paintball....:) He told me that one of my problems is that I have too much of a dependence on other people. Well, yes you read right. I'm learning to cook. Don't worry I want to reassure everyone that thus far no one has been seriously injured. Whenever I get new software, or a new book that I'm really interested in (the last one I got was http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/books_be "Beautiful Evidence" by Edward Tufte), I start reading and in about one half hour I get really really tired and fall asleep. This seems to happen everytime. When I wake up I remember everything I read, and even if I misunderstood it, it's like it's locked in my mind forever--because if I DID misunderstand it, I have problems not remembering it incorrectly from that point on. The most recent software I bought was an upgrade from Photoshop 7.0 to Photoshop CS3 Extended. Everytime I start to experiment with the new stuff, I get really exhausted. A Learned Lesson
Well it has finally happened, I am truly single. A person can only forgive someone so much before they begin to lose themselves, to compromise their values and needs. Sometimes love is not enough, no matter how strong it is. I fought my own nature to give my man what he claimed to need, regardless of my own feelings and wants. He still wanted more and when i pulled the plug, he acted shocked because I had been so stupid that I had let the relationship become his playground. Learning Curve
So, I've been playing with the malonette for a few days now and I've come to the unfortunate realization that I am completely back at square one. Of course, I knew when I was designing it that I would have to take some time to learn it, but, until it was finished and I got my hands on it, I didn't quite understand just how clueless I would be. When I learned mandolin, I was able to apply some of my guitar knowledge to it and I had a couple of books. When I started on fretless bass, it had markers where some of the frets would be and it's tuned the same as the bottom 4 strings of a guitar so it wasn't that hard. Even when I started working on keyboards about a year ago, I already knew where the notes were and knew a few chords. It's been a long time since I've had this much work ahead of me. Actually, come to think of it, I've never had to work this hard to learn an instrument. At least a guitar has frets so I knew where the notes were, even if I didn't know what to do with them yet. Th

A few weeks ago while cleaning out more stuff on my computer I came across something that, while you think after being split for a few months wouldn't upset me, made me sit and damn near cry. I have learned alot of lessons in my life, actually I am still learning. A lot of these lessons were easy, and some ... well let's put it this way, I probably could have climbed Mount Everest faster than those lessons penetrated this hard head of mine.
