Why did i up and disappear yesterday afternoon... well jenn calls me around 2ish..she is in the ER, bleeding out her twat and cant feel the baby move at all.. i get to the hosp to find out that they have been trying for over an hour to hear the babies heart beat with no luck. They were attempting to do a stress test on her. Well good ole me walks in to find jenn hysterically crying(due to the miscarriage of the twins last year) and freaking out. i proceed to tell the Nurse, that a fetal stress test is extremely hard to achieve in anyone less than 25 weeks knocked up. So I blogged in Feb about my company dissolving it's Arizona branch. I freaked out at first, then calmed a little and now I just feel so blessed. I have worked for the company for 5 years in September. I am a hell of a good worker, but sometimes slack off, take too many sick days and get bad reviews on calls. Even with my many faults, my boss and her boss have chosen to keep me. I am the only person who was working for the Arizona branch, in Arizona to still have a job. The other reps that worked for the Arizona branch are in Oregon and Washington and not really affected. Being a telecommuter I am supposed to be w/in 100 miles of an office. In case something happens with my systems, I can go into work rather than be offline. Anyway, my point. Today my boss called me to inform me that they have moved me from being an Arizona employee to being a Washington employee and this move is going to affect my accrued PTO. Fine, not a problem. Ok, so I keep hearing the 'rich' need to pay more in taxes. I completly agree. However, I do not agree with passing a law to do that. Any law that says group X has to do/not do something is called DISCRIMINATION! The dictionary defines discrimination as..."treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction infavor of or against, a person or thing based on the group,class, or category to which that person or thing t belongs rather than on individual merit." So, if we as a people say because you make X amount of money, you pay, say 20% in taxes and if you only make Y amount you pay 10%. Isn't that the textbook definiton of discrimination? If we were to make laws based on ohhhh let's say.....hmmmmm, skin color.....ya know, if you are white you are held to these laws and if you are black you are held to diferant laws, we would say that is wrong. I Am Writing This To Inform You All Of Something That Is Of Imporatance To Me
I am awaiting to see my surgeon on May 31, 2007. I will be having a total hip replacement done on the left side. I will not be on the computer very much post my surgery... it takes 6~8 weeks for healing. I will be laid up and in therapy. I must have this surgery at 43 years old because of the advanced arthritis and degeneration of my hip over the years. If I still want to consider being a nurse for the next 20 years or so. Even if I get out of nursing I still have to have an income. So, i will keep you all posted as time goes on. So the other day, a friend was telling me how he completely turned his life around. "Yep", he said, "I managed to turn a complete 360." Well, I'm not one to piss on this guy's little accomplishment here, but if he did a complete 360... uh... wouldn't he be right back where he started? Perhaps he did a 180. I Ate Dog Food! Ok I Said It!
I am such an idiot! My mom made Brownies and put them in a little package for me and the kids. Well, I opened the pack and some of the Brownie crumbled onto the counter... so I picked up a chunk and ate it. It tasted like smoked beef! I Be Depressed
so my best friend lonnie is stupid. i've known him since i was in 9th grade and he was in 11th grade. at the end of that year, he started smoking weed and failed out of our high school. we kept in touch and he kept doing more and more drugs and mixing them with alcohol. i would get drunk dials and i would laugh but then it got worse. one day, a week before i went to mexico for three weeks, i got a call from my friend rose asking me if i knew where lonnie was cuz he hadnt come home the night before. i called and called him but i didnt get an answer until 4 days later when he IMed me and told me he had been in a coma. he went to rehab and got out half a week early. he was clean for awhile but then got back into drugs. at one point in his drug career, i believe before the coma (the coma was 2 years ago), he was mixing drugs and could tell which ingredients to get from CVS and could mix the right amount according to height and body weight. after rehab, he didnt get into drugs

I Been Doin Some...
thinkin and lots of it. Austyn is so very smart, he is the highest class he can possibly go in his school right now. So I jus got off the phone with the charter school in the villages, in Feb of 07 Ima go enroll Austyn into the Pre-K class, she said he sounds perfect for it! He'll start in August n it'll be jus like he's in school! He knows his ABC's, he can write his own name and most of the alphabet, he can count to 60 and 10 in Spanish, he knows all his colors and shapes and can draw them to. I'm blessed to have such a smart 4 yr old. He loves school, so rather than make him take the same class for 2 yrs b/c he misses kindergarten next yr cuz of his age, this is the next best thing. He is so excited and keeps tellin us he can't wait for the new school.! Welp I'll keep most of u posted jus wanted to blog about muh lil man!
