Daytona Beach Biketoberfest 2010
I never cease to be impressed by some of the amazing people I randomly cross paths with. I just got back from Daytona and was there were with my girl and friends. My girl and I had breakfast and we rode up to main street. It was in the mid-80's and the sun was beating down, we had gone for a short walk up the street to look for our friend's bike which we found and and we looked at some T-shirts in a adjacent store. We crossed the street and were looking in another clothing store and my girl let me know she was feeling nauseated and she walked out into the alley way because she felt like she was going to throw up. She'd been having a headache and started feeling weak from standing in the heat, that and she's been having a bit of dizzyness when she gets up from low blood pressure. Day 0 ... The End Of My Life...
So this is the last day of my life... as a smoker. 23 years of my life hsa been dedicated to making sure I have a smoke. I've decided that I don't want to give them another day after today. Day 3 - The Departed
Today's film was The Departed. This is my 20+ time seeing this movie. What can I say? It's great. I love Scorsese, he is so good. This is going to be short because I'm pretty sure everybody has seen it. Scorsese knows how to move a camera. Every shot is great to look at. The acting is great and the story is interesting. This is way better than Infernal Affairs, this being the remake of that. I guess that's it. If you've seen it, you like it, if you haven't go watch it. Score 5/5 *This one was short. Day 4 - Triangle
Today's movie was Triangle. This is the first time I've seen this and I have to watch it again. This is a very interesting movie that deals with afterlife and punishment. This film doesn't have any big names but this works because at any point one of them could die. The story is about 6 friends who take a boat ride to the middle of nowhere. A storm rolls in and they get stranded. A cruise ship picks them up and then a weird thing happens. I won't spoil anything but it is a unique idea and made me think the whole time. While I was watching different ideas popped into my head about life and the idea of a final judgement. This film is complicated. I have my ideas on it but I'm sure the next time I watch it I'll have new ones. I checked some other reviews of this film and it seems you either love it or hate it. I don't know how you can hate it. Day 9 - The Avengers
Today's film was the Avengers and it's of course the first time I've watched it. Right off the bat let me tell you I'm am disappointed with almost every aspect of this film. It is just another action/superhero film. The film relies too much on the "cool" "epic" idea of the Avengers and doesn't bring anything special to the genre of the superhero film. It just makes the action bigger and the cgi greater. There is no in depth character, no real story, no twists, no turns, nothing but action. I know I'm being a little harsh because you not going to the Avengers looking for characters, I guess you leave that to Nolan and the Dark Knight. Let me start out with what I liked. Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner works great. He is perfect for the role. I look forward to his own Hulk movie. That's it. Michael Frank. The employee refused to open the account and called police while the man started to curse at bank workers, Frank said. The second forgery charge came after investigators learned Smith bought several cartons of cigarettes from a nearby grocery store with a stolen check, Frank said. I had no problem yesterday with not smoking. I felt really really good. Today......Forget it. I want to give up...since I woke up it's been so hard. I don't even know what to say right now other than I want to smoke a cigarette. I mostly think Im like this cause I've had my patch on for about 18 hours. That means, I have not picked up a cigarette for that long. I've eaten like crazy today...trying to get my mind off of it. It's not working. Anyone have any suggestions at all? 15 Day Vacatioon Back To The 'burgh

When I got involved with a soldier, I KNEW I would be making my own sacrifices....I'd be sacrificing daily phone calls, texts, coffee dates, dinner dates...I knew this relationship would require A LOT of strength, patience and faith on my part. What I didn't see coming were people that have been life-long friends leaving me and instead of being there for me when I REALLY needed support around the days he was leaving, they were either criticizing my relationship, looking down on it, or galavanting about because they "forgot" that I invited them over when I needed them (not buying it). I now have no local friends, I'm always now by myself and it's been two weeks since I heard from my boyfriend. I was doing great about it until tonight. I have my boyfriend's saved text messages and one voicemail he left me that I play...it helps. Day 7 - Valhalla Rising
Today's movie was Vahalla Rising. It is my first time watching it. I picked it because of the director, Nicholas Winding Refn. He directed Bronson, which I liked and Drive which I loved. This film is 2 parts epic and every other part alright. From the first couple minutes you can tell that this film is beautiful. The cinematography is amazing. The creepy fog and pale colors great a glow to the shots that make it something special. With that in mind, the music then sets the level even higher. It is eerie and with a slow moving film like this, you get surrounded in the tones and strings the music plays. With the amazing look and wonderful sound you would think that the rest of the film should be at that standard but it isn't. The story is about a mute warrior who breaks free from his captors and takes a little boy along a trip of religion and a new world to find who he really is. Day 2 Was Just As Cool!
Well Day 2 was fun too!! We are learning about the preventative maintenance of the robot! It is cool as hell to actually be “hands on” now. I am definitely glad I was hired into this position, it is a dream job, and you know the type, the 1 in a 1,000,000 type of job that only seems to come once in a lifetime! So far things are going well, there is a definite language barrier, but it is weird because even though our instructor doesn’t speak English, and we don’t speak Japanese, we can understand him about 60% of the time. Of course we have someone translating for us, but to not physically understand what someone is saying, yet conceptualizing the meaning behind it and being right is very cool. So far everyone has been great over here, everyone we meet, whether we understand them or not (and visa versa), has been extremely nice. They offer help at every turn. Day 5, Welcome Party
Hey all, Well training was okay today, it was a rehash of the week to make sure we understand all the info since it comes from a translator (instructor speaks no English). After work we had a small welcome party from our translator and friend Hashimoto. We got totally fucked up!!!!! Some of you have already seen the pics I posted. We had a good time, of course we were in a Japanese style bar, and got a little loud, but it was all good. We taught Hashimoto how to cuss in English, and he taught us how to cuss in Japanese. It was a riot, and of course we taught him a few drinking songs. I think other patrons thought we were the night’s entertainment, because everyone kept staring at us! 3 Day Weekend
I'm back from my trip to Salt Lake City! I had so much fun! I'm so glad I went and it was great to see my family and all of my old friends! I guess I'll begin on the day I arrived. It will explain how this was THE best feature dance trip I've EVER experienced. First I arrive at the SLC airport around 7pm and go down to collect luggage, I'm greeted by Brandy and Tom of Golden Trails! Two of the nicest people you'll ever want to meet! We made it to the Little America hotel and checked in. The hotel looks good so far. We get into the room and... wow, this ain't no Best Western! Which I'm usually shoved into when I go on the road! Golden Trails went all out for me and I'm so grateful for it! The next morning, we had to get a UTAH ID, this wasn't going to be a problem because I lived in UTAH and had an ID already, which wasn't expired, I just lost it. Day 22 With The Bb!!
My baby kitten is still going strong. He is getting bigger and stronger. He is just a baby so he does NOT like being held. He loves to eat and POOP and SLEEP and that's 'bout it for now. When he wants to play, he's quite evasive to new people and likes to simply let me know first. Then I can hand over the reigns to the kids and WATCH THEM while they have fun. My best friend and her children came up here with a friend for the weekend. I own my own home and have more than enough room in this HUGE house. A Day With The Kids And Other Things.
Both last weekend and this, I took one of my kids with grocery shopping. While both kids helped in their own way, I think it was interesting in how each approached the task. A. (my son) actually was into finding the food and getting a good price, while N. (my youngest daughter) was more into socializing and doing as little work as possible. My wife finally heard back about the customer service job she applied for. Basically, she didn't get the job. The Day We Met.
On Janurary 28th, Jeremy and I celebrated our 3 year annivserary. We went out on our first date. Jeremy picked me up in the truck and drove me out to St. Cloud to drop off a motor to our friend Charlyn's house. We went out afterwards to Osaka Japanese Restaruant and had a wonderful time and a wonderful meal. They prepared our meal at the table and I had sushi for the first time. We talked a great deal and shared alot. This is one day I will never forget. Although we have been through so much, I love him more today than ever. Jeremy this year took me out to dinner and we came home and watched some movies. I had a wonderful time with him I know it doesn't sound like much, but just spending time with him is the most wonderful thing to me. Finally a day without sick kids at home. Yipppeeee! I need a quiet day for once. Time to run a couple of errands and time to maybe exercise. I said maybe! 4 Day Weekend
Well a 4 day weekend is in the books. back to work tomorrow. I would say over all it was a good weekend. Yesterday was a long but great day. :) I got up early and headed out for David's field trip. It always makes me feel good that he wants me along. I can't say if I am happy that the Memorial Day weekend, or not. The last two weeks have been a real roller coaster with my emotions.Friday, May 21, Grandma was checked into the ER due to abdominal pain, three days later we find out that her colon cancer back, but this time in two different places. Day 1 - Wtf Is This Patch????
Ok so here the first day is winding down a bit.... 15 Dayz To Go And Counting....
so most of the ppl who actually spend time with me and talk to me know that 5:45 am august 21st i am catching a plane to louisiana to be with my fiancee (dj reaper for thoes of you who are dense or in the dark lol.) 15 dayz and ill be on that plane.... i just wrote my letter of resignation, i have hated my job for the last year and a half but writing this letter this morning i know i am going to miss it along with oregon all together. im starting a new chapter in my life and i know it will be totally awesome but its a lot harder to let this one go then i thought it would be. i will miss everyone and everything here.

Well Just got ranked number one in my district in Saint Louis Area For "Best Dicus Thrower". Well it was a weekend before Sectionals, and i decided to go out with a couple of friends too a party which rounded out tobe the best nite every. Intile i decided to take my moms Yukon XL 2007 truck out on the road drunk and under age. Which I crash into a house 60 mph dead on into a brick house almost killin my friend who had left ten mintues before my accident running throw his room and into the kicthen. I lost my scholarships for college my friends and most of all almost my "FAMILY"! But what makes the story worst i had no set belt on and should of been DEAD!

The countdown to the move has begun...I'm less than 3 months from relocating to an entirely different state. My whole life has become chaotic as a result. The SO and I took a "dating break" due to some things going on in his life. I can't be too upset about it, since it was my idea, but it still hurts to go from talking to someone every single night for hours at a time straight to not speaking at all. The Emerald Bar in downtown St. Pete is an Irish pub that regularly features live music. The bar is cash only (there is an ATM in the back), and the prices are extremely reasonable for the area, including domestic bottles for $2.75/each. It’s a dark, smoky bar with a lot of character and good service with a friendly sneer. Upon entering, the bar is on the right, about 30’ long with a few tables & chairs on the left. The ambiance has a rustic feel, and any barfly would feel comfortable bellying up to throw a few pints back. The museum itself was beautifully designed, and the organic interior and exterior were quite a departure from the sometimes stodgy and imposing museums surrounding it. However, the organic interior made for a very poor exhibit layout. Twice I noticed that exhibit rooms, when following as close to what could be reasonably described as “a path”, dead-ended, leaving museum visitors stuck looking for a way out. Every museum exhibit I’ve ever been in has one way in, and one way out, and they never double back on one another. This museum broke all those rules. Ddr Game Preferences
Alright, since I was asked about this by a few local DDR players, I'm going to mention that as a rule I usually only play the Japanese releases of DDR due to the numerous issues that the US series has had. The best example of this is that the Japanese version of Extreme had 112 songs, used the same interface as the arcade, had the best consistent sync in the series to date, and also had options to unlock all hidden songs and features in the Japanese versions MAX and MAX2. The US version on the other hand only had 70 songs with most of them not even coming from the arcade version of Extreme, had severe sync issues, changed the grading system to require a full combo to AA a song, and didn't even have the Dance Play Option available so outside of hacking the save file the corner buttons also functioned as arrows. Personally, I rarely even play DDR Festival and DDR Strike since they are based on the engines first developed for the newer US releases cause they also have many of the sam

Alright, now that I finally broke down an got the adaptor required for my US PS2 to play DDR online, I was able to finally comphrensively check out the game in full. In terms of graphics, this is using the same engine that was introduced in DDR Extreme US which honestly as even though it does return to the look that the series had prior to 5th Mix, I lean more towards the layout used in DDR Extreme due to how streamlined it was. The major difference though is that instead of using video backgrounds, they now have put the dancing characters into a background setting instead of putting them in front of the video so it's much less jarring. There are songs though that will carry their respective videos like a large amount of songs from Beatmania IIDX and the licensed songs. As for songlist, they did something right for once in that instead of repeating a substansial amount of songs like I saw happen in the US incarnations of MAX, MAX2, and Extreme they have decided to put in only s

Today I am sad to announce that we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense. Common Sense has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. Dead man rides on tram all night Mon Jun 4, 8:23 AM ET A Croatian man who boarded a night tram and died in his seat rode through the city for more than six hours before the driver discovered he was dead, a Croatian daily reported Monday. The 61-year old, identified as Tomislav K., boarded a tram shortly before midnight Friday. He soon fell asleep and died as the tram rolled on through the night and most passengers trickled out, the Jutarnji List said. Toward the morning, he remained the only traveler. The driver, separated by a glass partition from the rest of the tram, tried to wake him up at the end of his shift and realized he was dead, the daily said. The police put the death down to natural causes but are still awaiting post-mortem results, it said.

Why is it after 5 yrs you would even attempt to see something you ran away from before she was even born ? I just cant fathom the thoughts the made this man come to this conclusion that he should reappear from his friendly neighborhood gutter and try popping back in to my life or hers. i went to go get gas this morning, and there were ducks at the door to the gas station. so i start filling up my car, and look over my shoulder. they were gone! i look down, and they were at my feet and were after me!!! they chased me around my car! so when i heard it stop pumping i went in, and the guy said they hang out there from 2 am til too many people show up. so i leave, they are waiting for me at the door. so i walk out, and i walk in between them, and they start quacking(they were about a foot away).....so i start walking. look over my shoulder, and they were chasing me to my car! crazy ducks!!!!

Deadbeat Dads
The courts have finally gotten around to taking my deadbeat X to court for the child support he isn't paying. The X, of course has decided to start slinging mud after being told a 1000$ bux or jail time. He DID come up with the bux, but had the case continued because he has "questions" on where my girls live.(HUH?) The girls live with me of course and I never EVER denied him visitation even with him not paying court ordered support, ever. I'm tired of being nice and am considering slinging the mud right back as he isn't fit to be a dad. He doesn't have a pot to piss in as far as I'm concerned(or anyone else for that matter), and I think he's trying to get out of paying support completely. I've bent over backwards for this bastard but only because of the girls. I'm not going to look the other way any longer. Hell, he's even told friends that him being the "dad" is support enough. When I was 15 years old, my granmother worked as a hospice nurse (home care until a patient dies). She would occasionally have to go out in the middle of the night to work a patient's death.
