Countdown To The Tt
Just over a week now before the start of the 2007 Isle of Man Tourist Trohpy. A gruelling 27.5 mile course through the roads of the Isle of Man in the UK. Practice week begins 26th May and Racing starts a week later. Over 19000 motorcycles have been booked onto the Steam Packet Ferries this year, thats an increase of over 100% on last year. I myself will be visiting the island and taking in some of the sights, as well as riding the course on my 2002 Honda CBR600F Sport plus taking some photo's Hopefully I will be able to post some pics upon my return

Counseling
A husband and wife came for counseling after almost 26 years of marriage. When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a passionate, painful tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the 25 years they had been married. Counting Calories
Your thinking why would you want to count calories? I have decided it's time for me to lose some weight and to do so I need to count my calorie in take! It can be so annoying at times. Sunday, July 08, 2007 The countdown has begun The countdown has begun. Kaleb is still doing Very Well. He is so much more awake since they have started wheening him off of the phenobarb. He moves much more and makes more noises. He still doesn't blink though... It is so weird. They are shooting for Thursday to have him completely off of the Phernobarb. After that he will have to stay 3 whole days to ensure that he doesn't have a seizure. If all goes well, Kaleb will be coming home by next Monday! I am excited, scared, happy and nervous all at once. I think it will REALLY hit me hard when he gets home that he is changed. I mean the last time he was home he was sitting in his Walker and smiling up at me in the kitchen. I miss his smile so much. There comes a point in a girls life, or maybe just mine where I give up. I just don't give a damn anymore. You can call me emo, you can call me whatever the fuck you want for all I care. A week more and then I'm off for my big adventure in Swidnica, Poland. 6 months or so in south-west Poland working on a new build Toothpaste Factory and trying to pick up some of the Polish language and some of the Polish girls. The Countdown Has Begun
Well the time is near and I am almost out here. Come the 30th I will be going to work at 8 am and I get off at 5 pm. Once I am off work I will be starting my journey back to West Virginia. Today I got a call from my ATL out in Washington PA asking me if I was still planning on making it out there. I told him yes I was leaving here Moday the 30th at around 5 pm to head up there. I told him the I will be ready to work on the 6th of August. I am going to be training a new tech they hired out there for a couple o months till the new store in Wheeling West Virginia open up. Then I am going to be opening up that store, I did find out that I will not be the only tech in the new store there is actually going to be 2 of us and the other person will be already trained and infact has been with the company for a while soIwont have to worry about training there once that store opens. Ingredients: * 1 tbsp plus 1/2 cup butter, softened 3 cups golden delicious apples (about 2.5), peeled, cored, quartered and sliced crosswise * 1-3/4 cup flour * 1 tsp baking powder * 3/4 tsp salt * 6 oz cream cheese, room temp * 1-1/2 cup sugar * 4 large eggs, room temp * 1 tsp vanilla extract * grated zest of 1 lemon * * CRUMB TOPPING * 3/4 c. flour * 3/4 c. sugar * 1/4 tsp cinnaomn * 1/8 tsp salt 6 tbsp cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/4 inch pieces Method 1. So yeah I finally am done with counseling....my counselor,Karen,said that to have counseling I have to have a problem and seeing that my only problem is my anger,she said to do something creative or something time worthy(like a jigsaw puzzle) to help calm my nerves.The only reason I dont have to see her for my anger is cuz im not 'lashing out' or hitting other people...i hit objects.but yeah....its pretty freakin awesome....she did get annoying sometimes...lol.I do still have to see my psychiatrist but besides that...things are looking up.woo!

Countdown To College
in 5 days, i'm moving into my new room in paul hall at gettysburg college. my roomie wont be there for another 2 days. i have more stuff to do than i wish i had. i have to pack everything up in my room cuz i'm switching wit my sis. it was an agreement we had when we moved in and i took the attic. my car's coming with me to college and i'm really excited about that. my parents and my sis are coming up to help me move in and unpack. this should be fun ^_^ i sort of have my class schedule. i'm taking german, into to economics, and early witchcraft in america. i should have a 4th class but i need to figure out if i have to sign up for something different or something. i hate packing with passion!!

Country Cheese-topped Cornbread
I first created this recipe as a way to clean out my family's refrigerator and pantry before a vacation. I basically threw some things that we had on the verge of expiration together and hoped for the best. Now it is a favorite at our dinner table, barbecues, and lunch boxes. Ingredients Crisco Shortening, for greasing the pan 4 strips of bacon 2 C. all purpose white flour 1 C. wheat flour 2 tsp. Baking soda 2 tsp. Baking powder 2 tsp. Salt 4 eggs 3/4 C. whole milk 1/2 C. plain yogurt 3 Tbs. honey 1 can whole kernel corn, drained 3/4 C. shredded Cheddar Cheese Directions Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish, including the sides with the Crisco. In a saucepan, brown the bacon over medium heat until crispy, but not burned. Set aside 3 tbs. of the rendered fat and chop the bacon into small pieces. Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder together in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Slowly wh

This recipe is great for experimenting with different vegetable combinations. Ingredients 1 lb. Kielbasa sausage, chopped 1 small onion, chopped 1 Tbs. oil 1 9-oz pkg. au gratin potato mix 2 1/2 C. hot water 1 8-oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables Directions Brown sausage and onion in oil for about 5 minutes. Hello All! Well...some of you might know by now that I play in a local KC area Country band named "RiverGard". Well...we have been involved in a local Country Battle of the Bands called "Country Wars" that is being produced by acclaimed KC producer Jim Kilroy of Banzai Magazine and Club Wars fame. My son won first place in the 165 weight class for the Santa Clara County wide wrestling tournament. In his first match he pinned the other boy in 22 seconds, which is a county record. So, I was driving to Tasha's t ball game tuesday evening when I hear "Whooooop" Cop car. I'm like, WTF? I wasn't even speeding. So, he's like blah blah blah, tail light out, blah blah blah. Runs my license right? Keep in mind i have been pulled over like 20 times in the past few years... and worked in a prison... yadda yadda ya. Right? WEll, he comes back to the car, and says "Robin Cropper?" I go, "Yeeees" he is like can you please step out of the car" LIke a dumb shit I go "Why" He said "Ma'm can you please just step out of the car." By this point a second cop had arrived... he goes "Robin Cropper, you are under arrest." I freaked the fuck out, and started bawling... i was like why the fuck for?!?!? SO apparently i had a warrant from 2003. Seriously. I'm like hello!?!?!? SO i was in jail over night. For 24 hours actually... in jail... seriously. OMFG, I cried like a fucking baby the entire time. It was insane!! But I went PC (protective custody) so it was cool... but insane

I live out in the country far away from the city lights. Far away from the city sounds that goes on day and night. Nothing is as peaceful as the country can be but one other sound I love is the sound of the birds. The one who longs for the songs of the birds are the ones, who would,love country living,its such a peaceful life. It has a calming affect it eases your tension it relaxes your mind,body,and soul, A nice home in the country is where you should be.

Country Ham Biscuits
1 cup flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 3 tablespoons vegetable shortening 1 cup cooked ground country ham 1/2 cup milk, or less PREPARATION: Preheat oven to 450°. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, mustard, and onion powder in mixing bowl. Using a pastry blender cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add ham and enough milk to make a soft dough. Biscuits Turn out onto lightly floured board; knead for about 20 to 30 seconds. Roll out about 3/4-inch thick. Cut with small to medium biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Serve ham biscuits with butter. Makes about 18 to 24 biscuits.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Eddy Arnold, whose mellow baritone on songs like "Make the World Go Away" made him one of the most successful country singers in history, died Thursday morning, days short of his 90th birthday. Arnold died at a care facility near Nashville, said Don Cusic, a professor at Belmont University and author of the biography "Eddy Arnold: I'll Hold You in My Heart." His wife of 66 years, Sally, had died in March, and in the same month, Arnold fell outside his home, injuring his hip. Couple Bug Fixes This Morning!
last night i caused a bug that would sometimes make peoples screen name on the site change to someone elses. even though that happened, the original person was still behind the link. ie: if you tried to became a fan of joe, and the message said 'successfully became a fan of bob', you still became a fan of joe. i also put a quick tweak in that filters out certain words from member screen names. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what words. if your name starts showing up as numbers instead of your screen name, then click on the profile link and change it to something not so god damned stupid. the bug that was keeping people from seeing their friends nsfw folders was fixed last night. i'd appreciate it if you still flag your folders with adult content as NSFW. if everyone stops doing that, i'll put in a tweak that forces the flag on any album with a single nsfw photo.. we don't want that do we? :-) and since i'm here, i'll stoke the bitch fires some more with

A Couple Issues Since Our Maintenance, Blasts And Broken Photos.
hey folks, since our move the other night, 2 main problems have come up: a) the blasts which were done on the first of the month between midnight and 8pm aren't working as they should-- we're in the process of fixing them one by one rite now. if you made a blast or a gift blast during that time, and it's working funky, that's why. they should all be fixed today. b) if you're seeing a bunch of broken photos, or very slow loading pages, it's because your isp still has our old IP addresses cached. during our maintenance we changed all our IP addresses. some service providers ignore internet standards for caching/saving this information, and you're feeling the effects. the ISP doing this should refresh the information, which will fix the broken images and slow loading pages, any time now... -mike

I'm on my way home and I decided to play a little poker. Which isn't really true, I had planned on playing poker even before leaving for the trip, but that's beside the point. I arrived just in time to see somebody win the bad beat jackpot. Pocket 4's versus pocket kings. Flop comes out 4, 4, crap. Since it's limit the betting maxes out and the pocket kings stay in. Turn comes a king and the betting maxes out again. River is a king and the betting maxes out one last time. All in all there's about $112 in the pot. The newspaper job is not working out due to many factors - mainly due to poor planning on my part. I've resigned as of yesterday, and I'm returning to school this winter. I have the full support of my parents with regards to this decision. I think I was so desperate to get out of Wal~Mart that I didn't look before I leapt. I admittingly didn't plan things very well. Factors of poor planning included the costly Greyhound commute back and forth every day, the resulting 12-hour days, the walking and freezing in extreme sub-zero temperatures. I overall didn't feel very secure. The fact that I wasn't even working in the position I thought I was hired for - the editor - and the job had no benefits as an incentive is also a factor. Court Date...monday
Well i have a court date on Monday (22 Jan) due to the fact that my ex didn't let me have my son. I am scared as hell, but Galen tells me not to worry as I am not in the wrong, but going before a higher official makes me nervous. I am hoping that he doesn't show up and that they issue a warrant out for his arrest. i am tired of his bullshit and him thinking that he is never in the wrong. I FINALLY received the court order from the child support modification hearing that was held back on March 29th,2007.I am getting a little more than double what I was originally getting to start with!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can finally go out and get those items my kids desperately need now.The only thing I do not know is how far back they back dated this issue.That was not mentioned in the letter. Right now... I'm just sooooooooo in the mood to celebrate!

The Court System
Ever wonder how alot of counties make a ton of extra money? I know that one county in Illinois has made alot by the way of hidden costs and fees. I went to pay for an indexing thing and it was supposed to be only $200. It is something they do for certain convictions and I do not think it is fair to do so. They had ordered it so why should I have to pay for it. Come to find out there were all kinds of court costs and filing fees on top of it. These are all hidden fees which you never know about. I had them refund what I had paid and have to argue it in court. Some of the paperwork was misplaced (I wonder why?) ans some things were never entered. I know how this particular county like to scam people out of money for things just so they can make more money. It is one of the richest counties in Illinois and it sucks too. well court is over and my lawyer royally screwed me to no end... I have court friday, again, Lawyer said he is going to try to get the charges dropped because i have proof where i was told they wanted to drop the charges, he said to bring everything with me. I'm also hoping they don't show up, will be easier to have them dropped if they don't show up and i've been told they don't know when court is. and i've also been told that they're just now getting a lawyer (tomorrow) will be a little late for him to do anything in court on friday. Other then postpone it, which is fine with me because if they postpone it that just means longer he goes without seeing his child. If they drop charges, i don't have to send child over there either (for other reasons) i've tried to settle out of court thru my attorney but guess they didn't agree which looks bad on them. Courtney Love Replacing Paula Abdul On American Idol?
I am by no means an American Idol junkie. I watch the show about 3-4 times every season just when it happens to be on. There is nothing particularly wrong with it, but it doesn't really get me going. That said, I saw a story today on US Magazine that Courtney Love has said that she is being pursued by AI for a spot at the judges table. One comment I heard is that this might be some sort of reaction based on all the wacky crap that Paula pulls all the time, which many people are describing as drunk behavior. If that is the case, then here is my take. American Idol has been in the news over and over about that Paula crap. I don't think they mind it one bit. I would be willing to bet they like that a lot more than her otherwise boring persona. In fact, I am sure a lot of people tune in just to see if she is sliding out of her chair under the table in a drunken stupor. Went to court today, to try and get custody of my oldest son. Well it didnt happen. The reason I was trying to get him is cause his mother beats him, she lets her husband hit him. Court, Weather, & Revelations
Well had court yesterday...sort of. I hit bad weather and dense drivers from my place all the way to Eau Claire. As far as that went ...well first a little background. This was not a pretty divorce, nor amicable at times. At first she sought joint legal custody with her having sole physical. I said I don't really care (depression bout talking there!). Then I started to pull myself out of it and she refused to work with me on things. I was prepared to fight this to the bitter end. At mediation we worked out an agreement, but we were still stuck on the issue of taxes. Who would claim the boys, etc. What I had ASKED for was for us to split the boys. She refused saying the boys were hers, it was her right...etc. etc. (A real entitlement mentality...like this was OWED to her).
