I hope this will give you a laugh. I had to travel out of town last Wednesday. I got to the airport and was asked for my drivers license. All I could find was my expired license. The new one was missing. So what if they sent me to the potential terrorist line. I just had to deal with it lol. I had planned on charging my expenses to my AmEx card and getting reimbursed when I got back. I went to have dinner and a drink at one of the airports on my way and found it was missing. Yesterday, after sudden illness struck two weeks or so ago, my mom's mom, my grandmother, the grandparent I was closest to and the one that was deeply beloved by the entire family, passed beyond this world into the next. She was an amazing woman, her humor, her wit, her truly unique view on life and love and family was something to behold. She lived a good long life during her near 90 years here amongst the living and passed almost exactly 20 years after her husband, my mom's dad, my grandfather, passed under rather sudden and quite similar circumstances. She missed him greatly, knowing him as I did, understandably so, and she said she was looking forward to seeing him and being with him again. A yr ago today I was in a terrible car accident that I think personally helped change who I am for the better. I never took life seriously, never thought anything could or would happen to me and then in a quick second I came close to loosing my life and Sarah's. Yrs Gone By
It's been 5 yrs and a few weeks since my oldest daughter was born!! and it's been almost 16 months since my second daughter was born on the 8th, and 4 1/2 months almost since my youngest daughter was born, and in all this time it's been almost 10yrs since my husband an I got together coming on the 22nd and 4 yrs married on the 23rd WOW!! a lot has happened in such a short amount of time, but I wouldnt change or re-do any of it for anything in this world....I couldnt have asked for anything better in my life then my little family!!! thqanks for readin my random thoughts.... 7 Yrs Is Long Enough
For those who don't know, I lost a precious 4 year old 7 years ago. I don't want to hear I'm sorry for your loss or whatever else you may want to say (sorry if I'm being blunt). I just want this to serve as my final goodbye to him. I guess I never really said goodbye to him properly. I mean I went to his funeral and all and dealt with the grieving process but today was my final goodbye to him. I went to his grave and had a long talk with him. I brought my kids and explained to them who he was and I tried my hardest to get them to understand. I still don't know if they understand that he was their brother or not but I had to do it. Not saying I've forgotten my son or ever will, but I have let his death affect me for way too long. I grade myself as a parent today because of his death. I feel like I'm not loving my children enough or doing enough for them when I am doing all I can just as I did for Justin those many years ago. Am I wrong for saying goodbye to him today? 1 Yr. Update
It has officially been one year since I became attached to oxygen tubes. UNM for now it seems is more of a fantasy than a reality. I miss my bad ass RA Sheena. So I have Chemo Friday. I am a little worried because last time wasn't so good. I do howoever have yet another anti Nausea med, it is a generic for Zofran, that had I not had insurance would have cost me $705.00 yes that is correct and is not a misprint! But thank the lord above that we DO HAVE insurance and it only cost us $10. You should have seen Perrry's face. He is always so greatful for any size miracle that it is cute! Even the Pharmacist was shocked!! LOL So this med is a heavy duty one and will hopefully take the edge off of the nausea and now that I have two at least that part should be conquered.
