I really don't know how to start this out or ever know where to begin with the thoughts i have. The past couple of weeks it just been non stop thoughts running through my head. Looking back on my life and seeing all the little mistakes i made. Which i shouldn't do, but it's so hard not too when you have lost to much in your life. You try not to dwell on it or make it worse then it is. Always look at it from a positive light, but sometimes you can't always do that. You need to take the bad with the good. Trying to be strong and being strong are two very different things. I guess there is apart of me that is strong, but there is apart that is trying. Life is so different for me at this moment in time. Lordy.Oh my. Ok this is so bizarro i can't imagine it. Anyways fuck, my sis moved to Indiana over the summer. So like due to so many wierd circumstances,there is no thanksgiving at mom and dads...too much to get into. And we won't go to his moms because of some revelations about his brother in law...pervy fucker,another long personal story. So like my sister and i have been so close for like ever. We raised our brother and sisters so mom and dad could bust there ass to pay for catholic school....I have 5 brothers and sisters. We were POOR. But dammit we went to catholic school because thats what Irish Catholics do....so we had eachother to entertain in a one bedroom apartment. And the outdoors were our getaway...our vacation. Regardless, just laying a little foundation there. So My Husband,Children, And i are going to Indiana for Thanksgiving. This is so intense. We always have thanksgiving...alllll of us TOGETHER. We love eachother and fight. We are there when needed for eachother. W

My whole life has been a tough one to live with, but it gets really hard when things hit me all at once sometimes. I always tell myself that I'll get through whatever comes my way cause I've already made it this far. I just don't always feel like I can. I usually feel like I can't do anything right and that I'm worthless. So I just want to thank all of you who have been there for me through these recent hard times. will be spent half with Brian, and half on a train back home. I'm going to hate leaving, but I really have no choice. So I won't be online at all from Thursday afternoon til sometime Friday. Thanksgiving Meal -- On The Cheap
Thanksgiving Day is nearly here. It'll be here in less than a week. This can be a stressful time, especially with all the work that goes into creating a lovely Thanksgiving meal. So this year I'm going to cheap out. I figure I can cut down costs if I stick with these ingredients: * Sliced turkey deli meat * Loaf of bread, thin sliced (59¢ at HEB!) * Can of cranberry "sauce" * Can of green beans * Box of instant mashed potatoes * 1 Packet of gravy mix * 1 Can of pumpkin pie filler * 1 Can of Yams or sweet potatoes See, you take two slices of bread, put some turkey slices on it (thin sliced is best so you can kind of crumple up the turkey and make it look nice). Open the can of cranberry "sauce" (it's more of a jelly to me) and slice off a round and put it on the turkey. Close up the bread and you have your main course. Since stuffing is made out of bread, you get that with your turkey, too. The green beans and yams (or sweet potatoes) can be heated up in a microwave.

Thanksgiving Freedom
Lauren left for Kansas this morning. And the kids are going to their moms for the weekend... so I am pretty much left to my own devices for the next five days. Scary. Steve may crash at the house. I am thinking of throwing an impromptu party, but we will see. I guess I might be staying in Lubbock a little this week, too. No rules this week. I just have to stay out of too much trouble... ;)

Sometimes it seems like many of us complain about what we don't have, and I know I am quite guilty of it, especially in my blogs. But most of us have so much to be thankful for. Things I am thankful for... My son. I just don't know what I would do without him. He is my world. My family. My Dad, Stepmom, Stepsiblings, and Grandfather are all so good to me. It is hard to believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. It feels like it sneaks up on me faster and faster every year. I really do enjoy Thanksgiving because the only thing it is about is family and or friends and eating. No gifts. It is a time to reflect and be thankful. It has been a hard year with my two boys but I still have a lot to be thankful for. I am not a big fan of turkey and that is what is traditional to serve for Thanksgiving but I do love everything else that comes along with it. To me, turkey is just kind of bland. It is much better with lots of gravy! No matter how you cook a turkey or what you put on it, it always tastes the same to me. I also love pumpkin pie. Has to have whip cream though! Ironically, this is probably going to be the first Thanksgiving I am going to enjoy since I have been back from Iraq. Last Year, was kind of on a down beat note considering I had recently gotten fired by former employer prior to again Ironically 2 days before Veteran's Day(A blessing in its self not having to work with a management made of cowardly and self serving assholes) . A Thanksgiving Story........
This Thanksgiving is going to be one of the most memorable for me, ever. Back in May, I received a phone call from my dad that he was taking my mom to the emergency room, she was throwing up and was unable to eat (had not eaten well for days, actually). As we sat a while, I noticed that she was actually throwing up blood (I know, gross huh?) After being in the hospital a few days, we found out that mom's cancer was out of remission for the 4th time. She had alrady survived breast, cervical and uterine cancer along with lymphoma. This time, she had stomach cancer and was diagnosed late in stage 4. At that time, her prognosis was only a life expectancy of about 3-5 weeks according to the doctors. She had also contracted a blood infection from the feeding liquid they were giving her through her IV's. Things did not look good at all. My dad and I began taking turns staying with her at night, he'd stay one and I'd stay the next while my Aunt took the day "shift". Mom didn'

Even though I am in Iraq this thanksgiiving. I have so much to actually be thankful for. As of to date our unit has not actually lost anyone. A word by itself could be, and most often is... in a world of it's own, out in the left field, a new kid on the block, or.... just singular. For insatance...(I love saying that, I feel like i'm wearing the "Professors" jacket.) the word "Thank" all by it's little lonsome just doesn't do the job. Happy day after Thanksgiving!!!!!!!! Well, I did it again as I am sure all of you did. Vowed not to over eat, over indulge in the vino, and what did I do anyway! I ate way to much. Drank way to much wine and now I feel like a rock is sitting in my tummy and it won't go away! Well, the food was great and the wine did flow but most important I had my family with me intact and that was a blessing all by itself. I am thankful for having good friends, great kids and a wonderful loving husband. So many people can't claim these things and that is sad. I wish everyone happiness daily and keep in mind that there is always light at the end of that long dark tunnel. Just keep your chin up and move on, its there I promise. I know I found my rainbow and never will I lose sight of it again. I know now to hold on tight and nurture it and tend it as if it was a matter of life and death because well it is sort of. Thankfulness. There's so much to be thankful for, but I have to say I'm most thankful for just being here. My life! That's what I'm most thankful for. Because I almost didn't have that. The fights and fun with my sisters. The triumphs and punishments of my son. The wonderous new relationship I have with my honey. The love and laughs with my friends. It scares me to think I could have missed so much of all of that and more to come. It's the small things I'm thankful for too. The kisses and hugs from my boy. The early walks with my older sister. This has been a very rough week. I still cant believe everything could spiral like that with out a warning sign. I woke up on wendsday with a bad feeling and went to work *ugg* I work at a call center (so you know any one that lives in Wisconcin or Nevada and wants a vacation package where you only have to pay taxes pm me and I will give them all the information lol... sorry work sucks) I work with a bunck of babies the rules for us change every day but hey thats politics BUT the paycheck they gave us the friday before I thought OMG that was my christmas shopping money I was so mad that I was in tears it was eather cry or scream and I am a very quite person and it takes a lot to upset me to that point but I waited to see what happens. The next day was Thanksgiving and I knew nothing would happen that day but we were told to be there on Friday at 8am and was told then everything would be corrected well I got my new check and was cheated out of 15 dollars and then when we got this weeks

So today was thanksgiving.Hard day for me very stressful.This was my first thanksgiving without my mom.I miss her so much it hurts at times.The day started out bad at that.I was trying to talk my husband into going cause I was scared of facing my family alone because of my mom.We ended up fightin but when I got home everything was fine.So thanksgiving the day to give thanks.Well I am thankful for alot of things.My husband,my kids,my family,that Im still alive,and that I can still walk. Thanksgiving Skiing
I did get up for a few runs this weekend. The snow is mostly machine made, although the foot of fresh powder that fell last week did help. We have aways to go in Colorado to have what I would consider really good skiing, but its getting better. Made it up to Keystone, which is now skiing top to bottom on River Run. No real beginner terrain yet. From talking to friends and reports is that Copper Mountain has the best skiing in the state. Eldora is reporting a promising start too. Steamboat has had to delay their opening, we need to get more snow up north. I'm gone the next couple of weekends, but hope to catch up after that just prior to Christmas week.

Thanks everyone for all the great emails and responses to the mumm. We did come back from a great vacation. Like you say in the vows for better or worse. I need to be at my husband side no matter what happens with this next court case. We will be talking to JAG here to find out what would happen if he was claimed the father and how the courts view his 1st court order vs what will happen with this second one and of course this family all off his pay. I do know is ex wife would give us even more hell if her child support goes down because of this mess. My husband is upset that I could be right on, that he may have to get out of the military after 10 years of service and hopefully find another job. Deal with the child support and stuff that way. Going to be sad for the first 2 children since the mother can't even get medical insurance on them. That is the only reason why my husband is still in the military. I just hope and pray that due to all the medical stuff the military does cover. Th

I just wanted to thank those of you who gave me input on yesterday's mum. I have made the choice to pretty much go it alone. My family will not be involved in it as I do not want the negative feelings to bring down the strength that I have found within myself to do it again. Well 1st of all, hope all of u had a nice thanksgiving with the ppl u love. To those who didnt have anywhere 2 go or dont have someone they care 4 with them,,,,,u were all in my prayers. My thanksgiving was interesting. I was with my sis and mom while my dad was puerto rico where it was hot. LUCKY! LOL I woke up late, made my rounds of calls and returning pplz messages. We ate dinner.. We had pernil, arroz con gandules, macaroni salad, green salad and apple pie. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! To drink we had, Sprite and SEX ON THE BEACH. 3 Bottles all gone between us 3, the we had bacardi and there was 2 wine bottles that i didnt touch oh n i drank 1 cup of water, Water was needed..Y do u ask? Because I Tess was TIPSY as hell. Y is this a big deal some of u ask? This year has been a bittersweet year for me, more bitter than sweet! The one thing I have had to deal with alot this year has been with cops I have seen way to many of them to make me happy, Dont get me wrong I have a few freinds that r cops but I dont deal with them in uniform some of these cops can be asses some can be real nice either way it seems that now that I have a record they come after me for some petty shit, there are real criminils out there yet lets bug the 35 yr old mom of three cmon! Well I make it all the way home from work last nite and believe it or not I get pulled over in front of my house DAMN the man.Anyway I tell the cop Im home he still does his job and yep I get a 75 dollar ticket man I have had enough,stupid shit was not speeding used all signals it was a simple expired sticker he knew I had just got home he knew what I have been through this year just by running my name knowing I was home ya would think he would be kind and just give me a warning not to driv

I just want to say thanks to all my friends that have sent me things for the loss of my grandfather. I haven't been on since saturday night because we left on Sunday after church. I might be back home tonight or tomorrow sometime not too sure, but Jazy wants to spend more time with the family. So I might just stay one more night on the very uncomfortable bed or have another sleep over on the floor like we did with my brother since there was not enough room for everyone. Well, it's been one hell of a week for the last seven days to say the least. Just about everything I touched turned to ashes instead of gold, lol. But I think I may finally be on an upswing and I am glad. For example... discovered Tuesday night that the gas gauge on my car is broken... yep, that's right... ran out of gas. Thank god I was only 3 blocks from home. But had to wait until today to get paid in order to put fuel in it. And was afraid that something else was the culprit. Luckily, it was the fuel issue, lol. Now at least, I can make it to my class tonight, and home. Then... saw this guy that has flirted with me for the last two years. I mean flirted HARD, too. And I realized that I could hit that if I still want to. Just not sure if I do or not. Guess I'll wait until the end of February to find out. Annual EMS/Fire conference and we'll both be there. I just want to thank all of you for your educational emails over the past year. Thanks to you, I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel. I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels. I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has happened on it since it was last washed. I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pass-time while driving alone is picking your nose. I thank all whom stoped by n read my blogs!! So anyway. We are planning on building a extended master bedroom. With a sliding glass door that we can enter our hot tub. It will also open up to a sun room with lots of tropical plants. We would also extend that room with access into our private back yard. The first thing we did was build a fence ( keep toddler in yard and out of traffic ). Then planted all sorts of plants trees n such. We have even added a fairy garden! With a tee pee that also grows the snap peas, yum. There will eventually be a pond with a watter fall next 2 the fire pit wich sit on our home made mosaic sun dial. but that will be next year, with the shed. But oh the fun we have had without all that. Many a weekends have been entertaining friends! We would have the BBQ n the smoker going, crack open the strawberry or huckleberry mead and homemade "Apple Pie"!!! So I can only imagine what fun we will have when the hotub comes! My biopsy results came back today and I have a clean bill of health thus far :) Tho the mass in my mouth will need to be monitored over time, all tests came back negative.
