I would like to thanks all of those people who vote this past Nov. on passing the smoking law. Now I do not smoke but I work at a place where most of the customers do smoke. This law went active this past Thursday and since than the place I work at has drop in bussiness. If this kepts going I can see my hours also drop and than I will have to get me a scond job. So not only with the price of gas going up but my hours will go down so it will be harder to kept working where I work and I might have to either leave it or find me a second job. I do hope that someone out their sees how this law is just wrong and changes it soon. This is just another reason why I hate ohio and went to move out. If it wasn't for this job which I do like I woudl get the fuck out. OK well I think that is it for now more ranting later

I have returned from vacation, while it was nice to get away...there's just no place like home. It was a difficult but fun trip, my son and I got a flu bug while we were down there. Being sick on vacation is never any fun but it showed me how good the Lord can be. I was allowed to come home early without having any problems. The Lord is good! I have had a few days of rest, my son and I are almost back to normal and are ready to face our regular schedules once more. Please pray for my mom as she has also came down with this flu. Now mind you my father is 86 years old and has lived a very healthy life as a biker and a world war 2 Piolet Hero and as a proud father of 12 (not all his flesh & blood for 2 of us me included are adopted) However Yesterday I almost lost him due to a faulty pacemaker, he had spent a total of 10 hours in surgery and replaced the pacemaker thinking he was good to go when that new pacemaker itself failed my Dad, we had lost him all to have his life restored and finally got a GOOD pacemaker replaced and as he always tells me everyday, he will once again check the Obituaries to see if hes still alive kickin and HE IS!!!! Dad did not make it through his struggle, and went home to be with his Heavenly Father, on Saturday, June 16th, at 2:35 p.m.. He spent his Father's Day with Heavenly Father This has been a most difficult weekend, as will be the next few days, and months, trying to adjust without him in our lives. My Dad was 88. We arrived back home last night, around midnight, and will be returning to Lebanon tomorrow for visitation in the evening, and the funeral on Wed. morning. I ask that you please continue to remember our family in prayer, especially my mother. This is going to be extremely difficult for her, trying to move on without her life partner of 61yrs. Well yet again I end up at our local chop shop aka the hospital...As I sat there for almost seven hours I realized just how much I hate the entire medical system. As some of you know I recently had surgery and through no fault of my own ended up with a "common" infection from this particular procedure. Only by the grace of God did I not end up having to be admitted, wasting even more of my precious life in that God-forsaken place. It did however give me the opportunity I was asking for earlier, the ability to shut off the voices and retreat into myself. All of us at one time or another need some solitude, and I enjoyed mine. I am actually more peaceful and now ready to look down the gun barrel of life yet again. I am ready to be healed inside and out, take on new endeavors and embrace all that life throws at me, good or bad. As I exited hell (hospital), into a waiting car driven by my best friend, I was delivered home to be surrounded once again by the people that love and sup

Just wanted to say thank you to all my family and friends for your great support and encouragement. Made it home safe this morning after almost four weeks on the road. Road nationals was a complete blast and finished in 25th place in the Time Trial. My first year of racing Time Trials. Look to do better over the coming year. Then it was off to Vermont for mountain bike nationals. Another new event for me is Dual Slalom this year. Ane what a surprise and joy to finish in third place and get to stand on the podium at National Championships. My first time at any National event as a rider. Been there five times as a coach of my college team, but never as a racer. For those of you who know my story and where I was 10 years ago you can only imagine the thrill. From not being able to walk to standing on a National Championship podium in 10 years is beyond words. The wonderful comments were so appreciated. THANKS!!!!
