I can feel her presence ever so close. But yet I see her not. As I look into the mirror every night, I see nothing, but rather feel a strong presence of some dark shadow watching from close by. I can feel the soft touch of her hand on my shoulder, I can feel her chin resting on the other shoulder. I can feel her ever so slowly caressing my neck with her tender lips. Slowly I turn to embrace her, but no one is there, only a disappearing shadow on the wall. As lie in bed awaiting sleep, there she appears again. Not adorned with the human flesh, but only as a shadow, as a dark angelic being. She lies by my side, I can feel her soft skin brush against my back. She slowly runs her nails up my side, in a pleasurable motion. I feel her breath against the back of my neck. Slowly I turn to her, our lips begin to close the distance between us. Closer, and closer, until I awake, only to see the same disappearing shadow once more.

The Shadows Edge Every time I think of this story it still gives me the chills even after all these years. I remember that night very vividly... This happened to me about sixteen years ago right after I had gotten my drivers license and got to use my dad's car by myself for the first time. Did you hear a company by the name of ProShade that makes a 3-in-1 gadget that combines a visor, sunglasses and a lanyard--which is a cord and a hook that allows you to carry something on them, like keys or a pocketknife or what have you. Proshade made an intriguing offer to the National Park Service back in 2006 when they proposed to give $4 million to Mount Rushmore in exchange for getting to put a logo visor on each of the presidents' heads. The company explained in a news release, "The National Park Service needs more support in preserving Mount Rushmore. There's a dearth of funding in the budget to provide the national landmark with the facelift it needs. If they accept, we'd like this to go toward preservation efforts-including a much-needed pressurized wash." Wow… what won’t companies do to make a dollar? As I look into the mirror every night, I see nothing, but rather feel a strong presence of some dark shadow watching from close by. Shadow, The Demon From Hell
Demons have leaped fromthe out side world, attacking my mind and my heart. My internal war is chewing, eating my flesh from the inside out. They aching pain from the knife they have driven so deep into my heart. The endless, sleepless nights of these demons ripping at my flesh, even my tears will not make it stop. The mind is a funnel of tunnels. There are hidden shadows, grizzly fears waiting deep in the shadows. Tucked so snuggled until they are alerted. They slowly begin stimulating our thoughts. Evading our hearts desire. They work their darken particles into our mind, making us question what our heart is screaming. We begin to listen; doubts arousing, a storm of clouds create a curtain of confusion. Things are no longer clear. I scream “I Don’t Know “I can’t see, my eyes are blind, the shadows are racing to one tunnel and then another tunnel. I tell you I can’t. You tear at my agony turning your back and walking away. My heart bangs against my chest it screams for your return. I ach for you, but my mind feeds me grizzly confusion. I sit and struggle with the conflicting forces. The ach for you becomes overwhelming. My heart leads me to you. Ignoring the grizzly shadows. As they scramble back to their tunnels. I hold you in my arms. Knowing I have you now.

Shadows
The pure quitness of your room. The shadows dancing from one end to the other. Watching them play and twist wonding or wanting to be apart of the shadows that come and go at night. Lissioning to the nothingness all around feeling at peace and wanting that peace to last for the next day. The next day will always come but the question is what will come with it? The shadows wrapped around her nude body as she landed on the edge of the building, if the mortals seen her, it would make them blind and drive them insane. Her beauty is ageless, her presence makes the most honest of men tremble. She is the light in the darkest of nights, she takes my hand and guides me to a place none has seen since the dawn of time. Then to temple that they no longer worship her in, she needs me I relise. Just as I need her, so I spread her words and build new shrines to her, and she basks once again in the glory of her followers. Now she has been made real again, and I have spent my life to give hers back. In my final moments she comes to me and says, "Dear one, I do not forget those that have given themselves to me." and she moves the shadows and for the first time I bask in her glory. yet I do not die, I look back and see my withered body nothing more then an empty husk.then she touches my check and says " Come we have only just begun...".

Shadow Land
Torn apart inside, no place to hide Why do I do this, what is it that i miss? Someone from nothing but pain, and shame only desires to be loved, but in the end they all seem to be the same. Not like you didn't have enough already, they tear you apart even more. They say when you get a cut it hurts worse than anything. I think they are wrong to have someone lift you up so high you start to love again and then let you fall like you meant nothing to them hurts far worse. I could stand a thousand cuts than to take the pain that I take from each one that has done this to me. I'm their angel one that will listen to them one that will love them and talk with them. An in the end I'm tossed back to the shadows once again to hide the bruises and the scars enflicked once again. So back to the shadow lands again I go til I'm needed once again.

The Shadow
The Shadow I am a shadow, a lost soul, Wandering through life, searching, Searching for the illusion that is happiness, an illusion that temps all men. This happiness which is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing that provides peacefulness, joy, pride and love, a blessing that gives the soul reasons to live. It is a curse for happiness is only temporary, an illusion, a curse for it shows the soul what it may have but never hold. This glimpse of happiness seen by the lost soul, slowly drives him apart from those around him. Slowly it drives him mad, torturing him, taking his mind and turning it away from life, and any chance of holding the illusion.
