As some of you know I do suffer from a mental illness, but most are unaware. I now feel an urge to try an explain it's effects on me and give some insight on what it is like in my mind. In September 2003, I walked off my job, got in my car and drove. I didn't know where I was driving to or why. All I knew is that I had to get away. For approximately 2 to 3 hours I was missing. My friends, family and employer didn't know where I was. For that matter I didn't even know. I was stuck in y own world behind the wheel of a car driving to an unknown destination. Eventually I realized my cell phone was ringing in the passenger seat. It was my fiance (now my wife). She talked me home and once I arrived I went to the bedroom, curled up in a ball and laid there staring into nothingness. I have been seeing alot of mumms and comments about people with bipolar disorder. What I don't get is why do those who don't suffer from it think that people with it can't function or have a normal life? Bi polar CAN cause some people alot of problems, but not all. How do I know? I suffer from bi-polar disorder, and I lead a very normal and happy life. A very large percentage of the american population suffer from some type of mental disorder, whether they admit it or not. Depression, adhd(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), ocd(obsessive compulsive disorder), just to name a few. So those of you that think you are perfect, go find something else to bitch about, i bet out of 10 people you know, at least 5 have some type of illness that you don't know about! So I realize that everyone can read and more than likely respond to this, but not too long ago I found out that I am Bipolar. The sad thing is I really hate being on medication yet I have to be or else my moods aren't stable. The sad thing is I am in what I feel is not a good relationship, he has only laid hands on me a couple times, but most time's I am the one that starts the violent fights. I hate when he throws the controllers because one of them IS after all mine and they are not cheap to replace. They are the cordless remote controllers. Well, I will repost bulletins on both sides of debates and arguments regarding CT rules regulations and so forth. I generally tend to take a moment to sit back and let it all soak in and keep my opinion to myself for no reason other than I hate drama. So, this bird walks into a store . . . Watch! He s-l-o-w-l-y enters the store, and then he runnnnnnns OUT! A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop. The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn't looking (so a camera was installed), and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos. Although at first glance all this complex mass of symbolism seems tortured and confused there is an inner coherence to these symbols, which the ancient alchemists used in specific ways reflecting their esoteric content. In this article I wish to consider a particularly tight knit group of these animal symbols, the birds of alchemy - the Black Crow, White Swan, Peacock, Pelican, and Phoenix - which are descriptive of certain stages of the alchemical process. Of course it would be wrong to suggest that there are fixed rigid meanings with regard to these symbols. I think I've always noticed birds but I started getting into them as a hobby after college. I graduated from a small college in Georgia with a degree in Geology. (I know, wtf?). To set a celebratory mood for the party, I do a little pre-decorating in the garden. The Birds
I watched as the birds flew overhead. Wondering if there was any true destination or just going to where the urge took them. Just as my life, the destinations not always clear cut. Willing to vary the coarse because what seemed off track was appealing. It’s these side tracked journeys, these courses, that have brought good times and bad. Much like the birds overhead, circumstances dictate the path I take. Be it the weather, nourishment, happiness or just free will. When I look at my journey, my destination is clouded. Clouded because of free will, the want of happiness, the pursuit of the easier softer route, all of these can have effect on the journey, but the destination is never known. Maybe I should look to the birds more often? It’s not I that decides where the journey ends or what the final outcome will be. It’s my choice to enjoy the good, accept the bad and continue forth.

For some time now there have been three black birds who have been hanging around my neighborhood. I don't know if they are crows or blackbirds, but I'm pretty sure they aren't ravens. I've been watching them. Usually when I come out, one of them flies off and the other two hang around. Today I was watching them. There was a barren branch that extended above the still leafy autumn tree line. I did not see the other bird at first. Not untill the two crows (I think I have decided they are crows) landed on the branch and it ruffled its feathers. I think it was a hawk or a peregrine. It blended well with the background of the leaves. At first the crows just sat there and the larger bird became more and more uncomfortable untill it took off. The crows followed it into the sky as it slowly circled away. They made a few swoops at her wing feathers. I'm not sure why I think of the larger lighter colored bird as a she. Brown chicken in butter; Drain. Combine syrup with sherry, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Pour over chicken. Cover, simmer 30 minutes, turning chicken once. Remove chicken. Add pineapple, bell pepper, celery, green onion and papaya to pan. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 cup water. Stir into pan. Bring to boil. When thickened, spoon over chicken.

OK so my Birthday was yesterday and as usual it was boring. Dinner with the family. That's it. Just once I'd like to go out drinking or whatever. I didn't get to do that with my 21st cause the ex was working or whatever lie he was telling at the time. So I really hope I get to do that next year for my 25th. I did get some awesome presents though. My Mom got me a dvd/vcr combo and a new Cannon A530 Digital Camera. And my kids got me a case for my new camera and a 1 GB memory card. I just had the worst bday of my life. It was the first bday since i got married that i was alone. I as not saying that I wanted my ex there, i am saying that i wanted my babies there. Today is my birthday and It was great I got up to kinda clean the house up since a friend was coming over when they ogt off work this moring. The November 10th Birthday Bash that LorrAINIAC threw for me on air was a lot of fun. She put a lot of work into it along with help from Cuzz and Tony Batman. It turned out to be the highlight of my entire weekend. So Thursday was my birthday. I should've written about it before, but I have been so busy with dead week then finals week. It was fun. Thursday night after school I went to dinner with some people from my lab. Then on Friday night I went to Outback with about 9 other people to celebrate. Misti made me a little mermaid cake. So yesterday was my birthday, and I turned 28. Adam took me out to Arby's for lunch, then we went to the mall, did some christmas shopping, he bought me a Play Boy beanie hat.
