It was a normal eighth grade day for me as I stood in front of a row of lockers, which looked to be painted over a hundred times, resembling an old rusted light shade of blue that I'd begun to get used to. I felt as if I walked those halls, lined with those lockers, more than I'd walked the halls of my own house. I was in routine mode as I turned the dial on the locker I called my own. I read the personal ads once in a while. It's pretty much more for amusement than out of any quest for "the right man", for a couple of reasons. Three-year-old Julian recently had surgery to remove a tumor from his brain, which they learned this week was malignant (medullablastoma). Apparently they got all of the tumor, but he will spend the next year having chemo and radiation with many “horrible side effects,” I’m told. Perspective
We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire. Perspective
So, I just finished watching Pursuit of Happyness. It was a fabulous movie. It really helped me put things in perspective and made me realize that what I'm doing is truly the right thing to do. I am working 2 jobs, donating my plasma twice weekly, and picking up every single odd-job I can find. I have pawned all of my movies and everything else in my house worth something. I still come up short. This is all so I can keep my house and my kids (my pets) all the while paying off my debt from when I was a stupid teenager and my crazy, horrible ex that ran me and my bank account into the ground. It'll even out eventually and everything will be fine. It just sucks to high heaven right now... but it's worth it.

For the men: if you are going to complain that when you go down on a woman, she's all hairy, and doesn't trim, then you better be trimmed. I don't like going down on hairy women, but I keep trimmed. My rule is I don't like going down on a girl with more hair down there than me. But guys..you can't expect her to shave for you, then think she's going to be happy burying her nose in your afro crotch. For the women (some, not all): if you know you're going on a date with a guy, and there's even the smallest chance, do some grooming. I had a friend of mine recently say she didn't know what to do because she hadn't shaved before hand, and she was embarrassed. I told her next time, just shave to be careful. If the guy is smart, he'll appreciate what you've done and give you back the attention you put into yourself. But once again, guys.. just take some trimmers. The costumes, the music, the people, and We had the time of our lives! It's 3:30 in morning now and I am finally getting the chance to update and post photos. The weekend started out in typical fashion. We start out with the best of intentions of planning outfits and making sure we have them done way before we need them. Friday night found us furiously sewing into the wee hours of the morning to finish up. Finally got on the road at 1pm saturday afternoon, which was a rather nice day compared to drive home in the driving wind and rain. Got to the hotel at about 4pm. A Personal Update
As some of you know I had surgery yesterday. I am very sore today. I am not sure how long I can stay on here at a time without the pain being unbearable. I just want to apologize for not being here and not bombing as I usually do. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis which is internal uterine endometriosis. My uterus is also very enlarged (Double its normal size). I am not sure when but I am going back in for another surgery for a Hysterectomy. I need to heal so my time on here will be less. I apologize for not being here for family contests and such. I will be on here and there and try to keep in touch with all of my friends and family on here. I am also being tested for bladder disease/cancer. So I dont know if that will require another surgery or if they will do it all at once if something is found wrong with my bladder. Why do people pay hundreds of dollars to have a personal trainer? Why not just pay someone to allow you to watch their kids? Then take the child-it has to be avery active child under the age of 5-and go chase the child as he or she gets into things and tries to run into the street or pulls the dogs tail or climbs up and down a flight of stairs. The rule is whatever the child does you have to do. If the child runs around in circles-so do you. If the child climbs a tree ( if you are at a park that has good ones to climb) you climb too. I bring this up becasue I just spent 45 minutes running around with my 4 year old. We ran (which I hate doing) and anytime I wasn't running with him he would stop, turn around, get my hand and pull me along with him. We also climbed up and down the stairs about 20 times. I am sweaty-ugh-but I feel more awake then I did earlier. My muscles are sore but it's a good sore.
