Back Update
well, i got the results back from my MRI and here goes.. i don't have a herniated disk in my back, but instead it's Degenerative Disk Disease. YAY so, instead of surgery, i have to get a steroid shot in that disk next week then start Physical Therapy.

New Job
well all is going well this week. had job interview weds @ 12.30 ,for duty manager @ BP. Interview went very well and had a phone call an hour later saying that I'll be getting a phone call from the area manager the next day (Thurs) He rang about 4 o'clock and we arranged to meet today(Fri) when he was in the area. Another phone call today at 2.30 saying he will be at the place I had my interview in about 40 mins and could I meet him then for a informal chat. i was offered the job there and then. will be getting my start date asap and will begin a 8-10 week training course.

Hello people, as I said before there are a lot of you I miss and some I don't, and I am quite sure the begininning of me forgetting some of you guys is starting to kick in. Right now I am dead tired. I have been doing a lot of running around here at work today and yesterday and I am sore as hell. Yesterday I help unload 6 pallets of dog food, that weighed well over 10,000lbs combined, and to top that off I had to take a dog that was DOA to necropsy, he weighed 130lbs and I pulled a cramp putting the body bag on him. Today, I've been helping haul in some furniture for our Associate Dean, and this shit has been difficult and frustrating moving and getting in to her office. All has not been lost, I finished the paperwork for a potential promotion for Vet Assistant, where I will be helping out Techs, Clinicians, and te Medical Records people, as well as doing some office work. Super Superbowl
I dont think anything can surpass lat years game. We had been in the hosp with cj from jan.4th thru feb 2nd. All he wanted was to come home and see the superbowl, his team the Colts had finally made it to the big game. Well on this day last year he got his wish and they let us bring him home, with the promise we had to be back up to the hosp everyday the next week for radiation treatments. As it should be the Colts won and gave him the best present ever, he was sooo happy even just for that moment. I have been reading a lot of comments on the Alijah James case and I am extremely disappointed in the reaction to Caren hiring a lawyer before she talks to police. That was the smartest thing she could have done. Too many times, an innocent, grieving parent gets accused of the crime. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and I can tell you that the criminal justice system does NOT always assume you are innocent until proven guilty. In my opinion, Caren (I love Sporks) did the RIGHT thing in hiring a lawyer. This is not a mild case. It's a Homicide. She needs to make sure that not only baby Alijahs rights are protected, but hers as well. Any of you that know Caren, should be supporting her in her time of need. Not condemning her. Baby Pool

i am really irritated about this.. someone had the nerve to say 3 min on a treadmill is not a workout.. well if that person was actually paying attention.. i am on any cardio machine no less than 5 min and i go to 10 max... i was working really hard that day someone i know decided to say that.. they need to ktnow the whole story before they assume.. i am still having issues with my injury so i can only do so much.. that workout i was doing was alot.. i was on a treadmill, stepper, and bike.. total cardio that day was bout 30mins.. and then did alot of strength machines... i really want to tell him where to shove it..i am there tuesday..wedsday..thursday i am at the gym for 2 hours.. and on thursday i have a cardio class so i am doing the best i can.. is this not good enough or something.. gives me more motivation to prove that asshole wrong...sorry i am lil mad because people want to assume and think the wrong thing. and if it matters i lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks

Well much to my kiddo's dismay, schools are OPEN today...lol It is colder than a well diggers poot out there and snow is on the way and yet school is still open. Two babies were left starving and suffering health problems while their parents played Dungeons & Dragons. American couple Michael and Iana Straw, 25 and 23, from Nevada pleaded guilty to child neglect, brought about by their obsession with internet and video games, authorities said. Their children, a boy aged 22 months and girl aged 11 months, were badly malnourished and near to death last month when doctors saw them after social workers took them to hospital. Michael Straw, who was unemployed at the time of the incident, had come into a $50,000 inheritance and spent it on computer equipment and a large plasma TV. So Yeah...
I was at work, the place of the automatically flushing toilets. I've battled with those toilets for some time now. I get so used to going at work and having it flush blithely behind me that when I'm at home or anywhere else and I get up from the toilet, I curse all other toilets for not flushing as I glance behind me. So, I continue my story. I was at work taking a leak, as massive quantities of coffee will make you do, and some woman came into the bathroom and shoves at my locked stall door. If you learn to look, you can easily see when a stall is occupied, but evidently not everyone knows this trick. The jarring of the door set off some premature flushing action. 62 Years To Life!
The man that murdered my husband last year was sentenced to 62 years to life on January 22nd, 2008. He is an asian gang member and nothing more than a cowardly punk, and the justice system worked by putting his Candy Ass where it belongs.....BEHIND BARS...for the rest of his life!!!! I could hardly sleep knowing my baby was going into surgery today... Around 11am they came and got us, so many people came to see her off! I had a lot of people with me in the waiting room helping to keep my spirits high. I even got a few laughs in which was a good light to whats been going on. THe surgery ended and they came and got me around 7:45 pm The surgery came out good, they got most of the tumor but I knew they werent going to take the whole thing considering it's location and the risks and such... There not legaly supposed to say what they think it is until they complete the biopsy on the tumor but just the way there handling this I'm pretty sure it's cancer. :*( They want to start Kemo, Radiation & Physical Therapy and mental therapy as soon as possible. Orange Baked Alaskas
1 pint vanilla ice cream or 1 pint orange lemon or lime sherbet 3 large oranges 3 egg whites 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar scoop ice cream into 6 balls; freeze until very firm, at least 5 hours. Cut oranges crosswise in half; cut thin slice from the bottom of each half (so it will sit). cut around edges of membrane and remove fruit and membrane from shell. Place a small amount of fruit in the bottom of the shell and refrigerate. Heat oven to 500. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Beat in sugar 1 tablespoon at a time; continue beating until stiff and glossy. Do not under beat. Place orange cups on un greased baking sheet. Fill each orange cup with an ice cream ball. Cover completely with meringue sealing it to the edge of the shells. Bake 2-3 minutes until meringue is lightly browned. Serve immediately. Serves 6.

Peanut Butter Cookies
1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar or 1/4 cup honey 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar for garnish In mixing bowl, beat margarine and peanut butter until smooth. Chill if necessary until dough is easy to handle. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. If desired roll in sugar. Spray the cookie sheet with non stick spray. place cookies two inches apart on cookie sheet. 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 4 teaspoons soft butter 1-2 Tablespoons minced onion 1/2 teaspoon garlic 1/4 teaspoon paprika 2 Tablespoons snipped parsley Heat oven to 425. Well, my dad passed away on Saturday and it has not been easy. But one thing I have learned is in order for one to heal sometimes we have to lead the path in forgiveness. Never know when our number is up. Here We Go Again
Haven't been around much as my dad is back in the hospital. He wasn't even home a week when things got bad again. On Sunday he suffered a stroke at home and now has a blood infection. Basically it's a just wait and see thing now. His prognosis is poor but it's been that way before and he has gotten well enough to come home. It's Not A Week! It Is A Nightmare! Sort Of...
Hello friends, family, and FUbarians! Lend me your eyes. I have not come to bury T~Bear, but to complain for him. But not really...
