Just Rantings From A Stressed Out Woman!
My week has already started out bad. Had little money to buy food, and now two days later find out we have no money for even that. I have to find a way to feed my kids, get my husbands medications, and not go crazy at the same time. My car has broken down, and I can't fix it for a long while. My husband will be unbearable to live with without his medications, and I am supposed to go to parent teacher conferences this week! I am trying to make life better by going to college, this is the only way to get any job around here. With little options for work, I am a stay at home mom. I have tried too many work from home jobs, and lost more money than I can begin to explain. I am desperate, at the end of my ropes, and extremely stressed out! I WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!

Stage Fright!
Ugh I had to go UA for the house I live in and talk about serious stage fright!!! Got up drank 2 cups of coffee and drove down there with the *feeling* that I had to go. Went in the room and couldnt do it with the woman in front of me. So went back in the waiting area drank a coffee cup of lukewarm water and skimmed magazines. When I thought I was ready to try again she was like are you sure, and I was pretty sure but she was like you only get two tries... Well thank god when she turned the water on I was able to... If You Had A Second Chance Of Living Your Life Over
As I grow older, I have been ponding death, and what have I done with my life. Well I feel I have wasted most of it, resenting a drug abusive mother, should have got off my lazy ass and tried to keep a job instead of depending on hubby to support me all these years. Perhaps if I had a job all these years, we might have had a better life and not have to live hand to mouth all the time. I feel I am a waste of a human being, I havent achieve much to be proud of exsept my 3 sons who thank God didnt get mixed up in drugs, or become booze hounds and a hubby who stuck by me for over 33 years and that wasnt easy. We both came so close to ending our relationship and at first it was his meddling mother, then and even now its our financial situation. Now even if I wanted to work m health wouldnt allow it. Response To A Nasty Man.
I am getting sick and tired of people in Mumms telling me how wrong I am because I dont see the natural wonder of the conservative wing of the Republican Party. Yesterday I was attacked as thinking that I was smarter than the attacker because I was a Democrat. Following was my answer: My friend, I am smarter and better educated, more insightful, better read and probably taller, funnier and better looking. I suspect I make a better omelet have a better car and trim my toenails with more precision. I am a better pilot, swimmer and have more underwear than you do (although that one is subject to an audit that I dont chose to conduct.) I have a better sense of introspection, better diagnostic skills and a top spin serve that would mop you up. I also dont define everything in terms of politics. Nice talking, once again.

Don Quixote Best Story Ever.
One of my fav stories I've ever read in school and since then. The ending is very fitting to how I feel as of late really. I'll Summerize. The cruel practical jokes eventually lead Don Quixote to a great melancholy. The novel ends with Don Quixote regaining his full sanity, and renouncing all chivalry. Saw It Coming
I saw it coming. This past Thursday the 8th I had an appointment with my Cardiologist. I knew that he was going to give me pills no matter what. The odd thing is he tells me to finish what he gave me before I had the prescription filled. Something was odd because of three people had told me of a Rotorooter pill to clean me out. I cannot see any connection amongst the three at this time. There was two bottles and each in a box and what I coudl find out about them was that it was a Beta Blocker andl isted some common side effect. Beyond that very little was available and no pic of it could be found. I saw it coming. The surgeon insisted I was in the military three years while I knew it as being in two years. DD214 tells me so. Four different versions and one is certified by the military, although my signiture is missing from all six copies of that one. Last night as I was retiring for teh evening, a wasp dropped out of nowhere and went mental in the lampshade. After squealing like a girl, I tentatively caught it in a glass, and then stood it on the kitchen worktop, and left it there (because I was scared of opening the back door and letting it out, in case it flew back and did a sting on me). Steam Con Preparations
OMG Steam Con is this weekend!!! With that out of the way, what's Steam Con, you ask? It is Seattle's first authentic steampunk convention, down by Sea-Tac Airport. Aside from general geekery, I'm looking forward to meeting other enthusiasts. Maybe it's just the types of folks that are attracted to the sub-genre, but I find it easier to socialize (initially) with Steampunks. I've been to Sakura Con twice, and the folks I encounter just don't seem as gregarious as the begoggled ladies & gents I hang out with at the Wayward Coffee House. The notable exception being the "Free Hugs" kids, but they creep me out a bit. Anyway, I'll definitely have some tabletop games in my car (Steampunks tend to like old-fashion stuff like that :> ), and hope to get some pictures posted of the event, afterwards. If anyone who reads this is going to be down there, by all means drop me a line, and we can get our Carcassonne on or something. :D

Confused As Hell

Just a little more about whats going on with me. There hasn't been a whole lot of change since last week, just some minor things. yes, i dropped off the face of the earth again. but as always, i have returned from the void. and with news this time! i am officially old. i started having pain in my neck, shoulder, and arm about 1.5 months ago. this has happened before, but i decided that i should have it checked out this time. after hurting for two weeks, i went to a chiropractor. he said the problem was my sacroiliac joint. he treated me accordingly and gave me a list of things to do to help it heal. it didn't get better. after another week of pain, i went to my doctor. he referred me to a physiatrist. he did much the same things as the chiropractor, but also took x-rays of my neck. he said that it looked like arthritis. so he prescribed pain meds, scheduled an mri, and sent me to a physical therapist. i went back yesterday to look at the mri with dr. spine. it turns out that i have three disks in my neck that are thinning, and one of them is herniated. this is being caused by the arthritis. four
