Gyro-style Pork Sandwich
Prep: 15 min, Marinate: 1:00, Cook: 10 min. * 1/4 cup olive oil * 1 Tbs. prepared mustard * 1/2 cup lemon juice * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 1 tsp. dried oregano * 1 lb. boneless pork loin, cut crosswise into thin slices, then into 5x1/2 inch strips * 1 cup plain lowfat yogurt * 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped * 1/2 tsp. garlic, crushed * 1/2 tsp. dill * 2 pita loaves, halved * 1 small red onion, peeled and thinly sliced Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Place pork slices in a shallow dish and pour marinade over. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1-8 hours. Combine yogurt, cucumber, crushed garlic and dill in another bowl. Cover and refrigerate. Preheat oven to 450°F. Drain marinade from pork slices and place pork in a single layer in a shallow pan. Roast about 10 minutes, until crisp. Open each pita half to form a pocket. Distribute pork among each half. Top each sandwich with some chilled yogurt mixture and slice

Tuna Melt Sandwiches
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 15 min, plus chilling time. * 1 large egg * 3 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. mayonnaise * 1/8 tsp. dry mustard * 5 ounces canned tuna, drained * cup plus 4 Tbs. celery, chopped * 1/4 tsp. onion flakes * 4 English muffins, sliced in half * 2 ounces cheddar cheese, grated Place eggs in saucepan and cover with water. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse in cold water, and chill in the refrigerator. When chilled, peel and finely chop. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise and mustard. Add the egg, tuna, celery, and onion flakes. Place halved English muffins on a baking pan. Top with mixture, dividing equally, then top with cheese and other muffin halves. Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Ok, need your opinion here. I have a friend of mine who joined CT with me the day i joined. This person is Absolutely beautiful inside and out. She decided to post some new pics of herself so I rushed right over to rate them...thats what we do here. Upon arriving at said profile i noticed it filled with pics of someone who was not the person i know personally. Which in itself is not a bad thing. BUT she is telling ppl it is her. Final Evening With My Nyc Friends~on The Move
These past few days with my friends from NYC have been great. It has given me a new lease on life & love itself. I know now why they are staying, they are taking me away for the weekend..VEGAS BABY!! We are all diehard fans of Aerosmith, and they are playing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, that is their graduation present to me. We saw recently at the Alltel Pavilion in Raleigh, NC & I had checked on the official Aerosmith site.. They along with Motley Crue are playing in Vegas this Saturday. Hell yeah so anyone that knows me pretty well knows that I am an avid Tech N9ne fan. I been listening to him for about 6 1/2 years now and been wanting to catch a show for the longest. the last time I was up in Missouri for BIDS school I tried to catch a show but missed it by about 2 weeks. Needless to say I was pissed. Now I am back for Recon school and the first thing I did when I got up here was check to see if any shows were gonna be happening while I was in state. Traditions are interesting things to me. They provide a continuity with the past, and a topic of discussion with the kids. "Daddy, why do we..." questions can lead to teaching on family history, society, religions, and a number of other topics. But traditions, by their very nature, should be challenged every generation to see if they remain relevant and true to their original spirit. Halloween when I was growing up was a time of innocence and fun. There weren't poisoned candies, razor-blade apples, or child molesters hiding in the bushes. Dental bills didn't cost NEARLY so much. My Love/hate Relationship With Halloween...
Halloween. I am going to have to say that I have I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this holiday. I love how my kids get around this time of year. Lack Of Patience For The Stupid Of This Planet!
So, as I have the lowest level of patience for the massive amount of stupid people that populate the Earth and those whos exploits I'm forced to deal with on a daily basis (about 200 of them), I am simply amazed at some of the things people do and think "hey, there's nothing wrong with this-it's a right good idea to drive down I-95 with my buddies, wearing ski masks and shooting paintballs at other cars around us." This is just one of hundreds of examples I could give of what some of the people who work under me have done. Now, keep in mind that these people are not teenagers in school or misguided college students, these are grown men in their mid-20's with less IQ power than that of a half-squashed grape. The question I pose is this: what drives a person to do the most ridiculous things with their spare time?

I guess I'm designing these because I'm a huge fan of SCUBA diving. My husband (back before we were married) got me into diving as part of a physical education class in college. Before that, I've got to admit I was scared of the water, but now I love to dive and as do my whole family! The design features one of my metal oval designs (that you might have seen in other places in my store) with the international dive flag behind. In addition there is the silhouette of a diver with the same metal effect as the oval. The overall effect is one of a wall plaque. The shirt featured here is the ash grey tee, but it can also be found on a variety of apparel for men and women. Also look out for sticker with this design for you car, fridge and anything things will stick to!

How Im Doing
Im doing much better now that i hsve been home for bout 2 weeks now. I have been going to the doctor alot and she said that my cheek is healing better and faster then what they though. They said that the scar on m face wont be VERY noticable wich is good news for me. I was worried bout scaring on my face which I didnt want. They said that I am soing good on keeping my cheek clean and not getting to much food in it. I am off half the meds I was taking for the pain too. Oh and a good thing is Im having feeling in my cheek which they were not sure i was going to have. my eye also is level with my other eye. It was pushed up alittle more then the other because of the tumor. Oh and the doctor said that it was NOT cancer and that there is a VERY low to no chance of it coming back. Thats really good. Choosing A Handgun: Part 1 - Revolvers
This post is about choosing a revolver, mostly for self-defense in the home. First, the revolvers. A classic firearm for sure, and very versatile. They come in two "flavors": Single action and Double action. The difference here is that with a single action pistol, you MUST manually cock the hammer back before each shot. While with a double action, pulling the trigger does everything. Most double action pistols can be fired in a single action mode as well. The single action revolvers are great for hunting and "cowboy action shooting." I am not a fan of them for self defense because they are harder to re-load and harder to shoot quickly if need be (unless you plan on "fanning" or "slip-hammering" it, which takes two hands). Some fine examples of single action revolvers are the Ruger Blackhawk and Super Blackhawk, as well as the Freedom Arms revolvers. Ok now here is just something to think about.. Why is it that men automatically think they can be disrespectful when commenting a pic of adult nature?
