Yesterday was a fast track, and I raced around the morning till everything was a blur trying to get so much accomplished, complete so many laps at record speed. The Night
The night rests heavy on my shoulders like the darkness is a palpable weight crushing down on me. I was talking to a friend who has a 3 yr old son who has brain damage. He has had this condition since birth but the attending doctor altered the records otherwise. My friend has spoken to several attorneys who "won't touch it" because the records were altered. The baby has had 4 surgeries and still has at least 3 more in the near future. Things To Know...
As some of you know, and many of you don't...I have been violently coughing since thanksgiving. Not coughing anything up, just dry hacking coughs. I went to the doctor in January, and they did a chest x-ray. It came back, in the words of the doctor, "not good". So they scheduled me for a cat scan of my chest. It showed areas of my left lung with blockages, and my lymph nodes around my heart swollen badly. They believe I have either Sarcoidosis of Lymphoma. Great news to get, either way, huh? I go into the hospital tomorrow, to have biopsies done on my lungs and lymph nodes. They are doing a Bronchoscopy and a Mediastinoscopy. While still asleep, they'll send the biopsies to pathology to determine if it's cancer or not. If not, they close me up, sent me to a room and I get out tomorrow or Thursday. If it is, however some kind of cancer, then they start removing chunks of my lungs/lymph nodes and I get to stay for a longer time. I ask that you keep me and my family in your thoughts and

I have been toying with the notion of moving back down south for quit some time now, but i have came to the conclusion the other night, that i would not be moving down south, i would be moving out west to the great state of Arizona. Yes i know its hot and humid, but hey so was Florida, i have thought about it, and i think its time that i have a change of scenary. After what has happened to me last year i think its time to move on. I also took a look at the job market out there, I would be gettin the same amount there as i would here, but the real estate is phanominal down there. Tragedy Again Its Been A Sad Time
Just me again wow it has been a difficult 3 weeks around here. Ive had so much personal stuff to deal with. I always count myself as fortunate that I have been able to be with and know my family for as long as I have...but its still hard. My Uncle passed away around 3 weeks ago. He went in for routine knee surgery and there were complications and he passed. Im very thankful I got to spend Thanksgiving this year with him and he had 81 wonderful years with us all. He will be very sorely missed. A true gentleman. Three weeks later...my Grandma (Gran) passed away. Its been said that going to her brothers funeral really took its toll on her. She passed peacefully on friday. She was a hard working person who always had a smile for everyone she ever met. She also lived 83 years as well. Coming To Terms

Well I finally get to go on vacation and I'm getting the chance to go back to see my family in Indiana without having a major reason for going except for just going. Now the interesting thing is that I'm going with my 20 and 16 year old daughters and my grandson who is 1 and my granddaughter who is 10 months. A Sick Mind
A day at work... Last friday i went with one of my clients to the doctor for a regular vaginal examination. The doctor took his time and when i looked at his face, he was looking really surprised and shocked. He showed me why and i still cant believe what i saw... Half a jam jar in her vagina! I was really shocked myself. I know she does that kind of things, because it belongs to her syndrome. But there is a difference between knowing and seeing. 10 Days And Counting
Today is March 8th, I cant believe that in 10 days it will be a year since I lost my dad. There are times I know I would have never gotten through all this with out the help of my amazing friends on here. People outside the internet world can understand how I can call people I never met and may never meet my friends. I remember the day my dad died I texted on of my friends here to tell him and by the time I got home from my moms I had so many messages and comments I was overwhelmed. I found out how many friends I really did have on here. Around the holidays I started that support group and met so many of you who have also lost parents and many of you told me the 1st year is the hardest but it will get easier and I hope you are right because I am living with the same heartache now I had a year ago as I watched my father die. It seems that there have been problems with the photo views and my rankings have droppped since Wednesday.
