Ok, I had the most delicious tomatoes the other day and kept thinking about why they aren't served as is for most people. Sometimes, simple is better. So I kept pondering this. Finally, I started thinking about a way to add something different w/o changing them. I found a perfect tomatoe, not too juicy, but still ripe and full of flavor. Then I cut some rosemary, washed the stem carefully, and set it aside. I sliced the top of tomatoe off, just enough to make a cap. then I inserted the rosemary stem, with the green sprigs still on, down into the juicy portions of the tomatoe and placed the cap back on. Let it sit for 3 hours, then removed the stems. Sliced the tomatoe and served. Wow...it was great! Next I'm going to try it with different herbs. Basil, tyme, etc. Perhaps each section with it's own flavor.

Traveling
Sorry to all my friends that I haven't been in touch lately, I've been out Trucking with my Husband, see last month I was diagnosed with bone cancer, and it hit both of us pretty hard, so my husband came home and took me out with him to cheer me up, since I will be starting treatments towards the end of August. I had such a good time, it's been 5 years since I've been out there. I will be posting some pictures I took of the West and mid West, I will be leaving again the end of this week, to go out for a few more weeks, the company is gonna get us a load up north so I can go see my Dad. Hope all is well with everyone....

I've got to admit that this tore me up, I actually cried and couldn't finish watching it...but my little sister works at the Jacksonville Zoo in Jacksonville, Florida. She and I can attest first hand that atleast the animals at that Zoo are treated with positive rienforcement. If I hadn't lost everything on my old hard drive I have pictures of my little sister with the elephants, the lions, Bonobos, chimps, kangaroos, smow leopards, jaguars, and the smaller animals that the animal abassadors take around to the elementary schools. My sister has gone so far as to not leaving certain sanctuaries that it has been rumored the animals were mistreated. Last Thursday, July 12th I was schdeuled to interview Jani Lane, former singer/main songwriter of WARRANT! Okay, so I posted a mumm that asked about my hair being short or long and cherrytap deleted it saying it was offensive, idiots, so here I am. This is what the mumm said: I just want to know your opinion, HONEST opinion!!!!! Look at my pics under me and my family and there are pics of me with long hair and with short hair, should I keep it cut short or let it grow back out long? Today
Today was a good day. I started off this morning a little tired and unwilling to go to work. I went to the MK class at the Nursing home and facialed 3 women. It was a lot of fun. I got quite a bit of one on one time with the ladies. I found out that 2 of them were 90. One had just turned 90 in March and the other was going to be 91 on August 7. The one that has the Birthday on August 7 had 7 brothers and sisters. she was the 2nd to last one born. There is only one of her other siblings alive. And she is the mother of 7 herself. It was neat just sittin' there talking with here and putting make - up on her face. After it was all done she gave me a hug which was really sweet and put a smile on my face. :). My Trip To Gwar!!
So yeah this weekend I went to see Sounds of the Underground tour and it was fantastic. With some minor hiccups along the way. Today was a really good day. And I'm not really sure why I think so. probably because the weather decided to calm down a bit and be "pleasant". An Update
Well its been a while since I wrote a blog other then my drunk blog. Things around here have been kinda crazy. Lots of stuff going on with so little time to get it all done. I live in Sudbury housing its geared to income I had to get my mom to fill out paper work to be able to live with me. They called us July 10 and said she was not approved to live here. I can and have appealed the decision. I dropped off all the paper work today for that so with the next few weeks I should know whats going on with that. Tristen goes to Churchill for a summer program 4 days a week Monday to Thursday and we are going to put him in Fridays also. From 8am-4pm. He really likes it. In a area so populated by courageous Military men and women and their families, it's a shame that they are not told more often how proud we are of them Most of us have direct ties to the Military through family or friends, but how often do you thank them? I come from a very proud Military family. My Grandfather is retired Army, as was my Great Grandfather. My father is a Former Marine, and my Cousins husband is currently serving in the Army. Be careful who you talk to. Recently, I had a discussion with someone who said they were a friend of one of my family members on Cherry Tap. With my family member's best interests at heart, I bared my soul about my feelings of an acquaintance of theirs. The feelings were not good. During the conversation I was encouraged to continue. A friend of mine worked at the local animal shelter and felt sorry for this emaciated, hairless puppy that had just been brought in. Due to the fact that she was a pit bull, she was going to be put down the next day. My friend brought her home. She couldn't keep her because she already had 5 dogs so she gave her to me. Even after all the puppy had been through, Cheyenne was a little bundle of joy. I worked in retail at the time so I was able to bring her to work with me. Everyone fell in love with her. Okay so heres an update i havent been on here in a while, i had to make a new cherry tap profile cause i couldnt remeber the passowrd and shit to my old one. Am I to be happy? I dwell so deep within myself that I have never seen the light of day. The past never happened, the future will never come, and the present isn't real.
