Oil Prices
I have recently received emails and read bulletins which propose that we either do not purchase gas on a certain day or not buy gas from certain gas stations. Obviously, not buying gas on a particular day has no effect on the revenues of the oil companies. They just get their money a day earlier or a day later. Also, oil is a fungible commodity and if Exxon doesn’t sell the oil from their refineries at the pump, they will sell it to the companies from which we are buying the gas. The demand will increase at the stations where we are buying from and they will raise their prices. Who suffers?? The laws of supply and demand supersede any scheme which does not involve pumping more oil or decreasing demand. High oil prices put pressure on our economy and also help to fund unfriendly nations. In order to improve this situation, I am in favor of Higher Gas Prices. I think that the Feds should step in and increase the taxes on gasoline by one or two dollars per gallon (Not a popul

New Addition To The Family
Say hello to Lucy.. Shes our new baby girl Chiweenie. We adopted her from the humane society. My Rant For Today :)
I think I finally got enough rest from driving across country. I'm finally back on the coast I have known my whole life and I fucking love it. Granted there isn't a beach here, but I'll manage. Its much better then being surrounded by the sea of pavement. At least I can see trees, and grass, and not sand and astroturf :P Its not Mass, but so far Tennessee is pretty close to being home :)

Thoughts From A Mother... (i Miss You Ryan)
I display this candle in memory of my son, Ryan Wayne, who passed away 3 years ago today from Cancer. I also display it for every other mother who has lost a child. I was told that St. Jude in TN and children's hospital in New Orleans will give a chemo treatment to a child in need for every gallon jug full of can tabs that are donated. I am attending a conference this week and a police officer was honored for the many long years he has served his community. However, this blog is not about him. You see the officer being honored got a call from woman with a son in Iraq. She told of how proud she was of him, of how he was serving his country, and how he had brought his playstation to Iraq for a little R&R in his down time. The playstation brought joy not just to him, but to his entire unit. The all enjoyed the games (when there was power) that he had brought with him, and the mom told how the playstation was like a little escape for them. A chance to not think about the horrors of war and about the IED's that they were tasked to take out. One day, one of the unit's canines ate the playstation and chewed up most of the games. I write little shorts now and then, this is something I wrote earlier this year. I know I had to look out of place walking out of the building with a coat on when summer was only a few weeks away. I had been visiting a friend at the University that worked in a cold room. While it wasn't as cold as he had said, I was still happy to have been wearing the jacket. yesterday 5/8 we had a cook out it was beautiful every thing was going great. kids riding 4 wheeler. adults just sittin and chillin, and PD and CJ was feeding weeds to the horses and all at once I heard a loud commotion and as I turned around my dog MOMO was flopping around on the ground like a fish. My Life
In May 2006, My husband and I had decided to try for a baby, the beginning of July I found out I was pregnant, In August my doctor had told me that my pregnancy would not be viable so we had to terminate it because it would everntually become a painful miscarriage. So we did that and since then we've been trying to conceive so today May 10, 2007 I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! Sophie's Birthday
It was my daughter Sophie's 1st birthday yesterday - I'd organised a party for her, a few friends, 2 of 'em had children too, plus my mum and boyfriend. Sophie had a beautiful dress on, we had pass the parcel, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, crisps, fun size chocolates, lollies and a cake, plus jelly and ice cream, people enjoyed it which I was so glad about as it's the first party, ever, on any level I've thrown. Life Ended
Another Life Ended She just sits there blankly staring off, the tears streaming down her cheeks. Plane Trip!

My mother was helping me make my bed today (yes, she does that sometimes because I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a really bad whiplash injury; both cause LOTS of pain, often making it tough for me to get stuff done), AND while we were stripping off the dirty sheets, WHOOPS, my vibrator appeared! Yeah finals are here and so far i feel confident that i'll get B's on both my Sociology and Psych finals. Well after everything that has happened lately I felt it was time to get away and be with someone I trust. Yesterday at 1423 I left Midland to being the Journey to see my dad and enjoy some time with him. After an almost 12 hour trip I arrived at around 0200 this morning and it was great to see my dad again. Being around my dad makes me smile and allows me a chance to relax and be myself again. MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO BLOCK HIM NOW... He is a VERY SICK VERY EVIL TWISTED person. I know this first hand.. That night he made me cry and took a pic of me. Well here is part of our converstation that day...HOW CAN SOMEONE SAY THAT THEY LOVE SOMEONE AND IN THE SAME DAY HURT THEM TO THE POINT OF CRYING AND NOT EVEN FEEL BAD THAT THEY MADE YOU CRY. GET SATISFACTION OFF OF YOUR PAIN ENOUGH SO THAT HE WOULD TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU CRYING TO LATER USE THAT PICURE OF YOU IN PAIN TO TRY AND FURTHER CAUSE YOU MORE PAIN.. I COULD NEVER IMAGIN ANYONE TO BE THAT EVIL OR CREWL TO HURT SOMEONE SO BAD. TO GET PLEASURE OFF OF SOMEONE ELSES PAIN IS JUST SICK.. HE SHOULDN'T BE WONDERING AROUND CT EVEN MORE SO ON OUR STREETS.
