What The Hell Is Going On Here?
Ok, I was in a state of shock here, I always thought FUBAR was an adult only site but when I just did a search a few minutes ago, I found out that in my area there is 15 or 16 yr old males or females on this site! What the hell are we thinking here? This is supposed to be an adult only site for those over 18, and here I find by doing a search in my area that there is minors under the age of 18 here! DEMP Class 6/26/08 Time for a little alphabet soup. My local dive shop offers an option as part of their rescue program. They call it the ultimate rescue diver. It consists of three courses, EFR (Emergency First Responder or CPR), the PADI Rescue Class, and then the DAN DEMP class. Having completed the first two, I did the DEMP class this week. DEMP, or Diving Emergency Management Provider as tought by my shop is actually a collection of five classes bundled together. O2 provider, Advanced O2 provider, AED, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life and On-site Neurological assessment. It is taught over two nights. The class began with a review of CPR. For those of you unaware, mead it fermented honey, much like wine if fermented grapes. I brew mead. I'm also going to try an experiment this weekend. I'm going to throw on a batch of vegetable mead, with carrots, squash and likely sweet potatoes. Winding Down.
after taking 3 or so months of internet free life due to an expensive winter my internet is back. Shit. There are some fucked up people where I work. Not as bad as it use to be. I've got some good fuckin' work stories. Any how, I'm ending my night with some Icehouse, Rebel Yell (a little on the broke side), and some good music. Figured I'd try and post something. So, I was suppose to start work at 8pm tonight, but the press (I work at a newspaper) didn't fire up until 9:15. An hour and 15 minutes of doing nothing but smoking, and bullshitting with co-workers. At work we have this gay couple, one's a pregnant troll-like-thing (who apparently only has time to shower once a week), the other is way over weight, and I've only seen him wear 3 shirts EVER. From time to time, they magically get sick the exact same day, and can't come in (which leaves us two people short). Their buddy just started working at the plant. Today is my last day at a place we have been at for the last ten yrs. Religion In The Schools
My kids' school will not allow the kids to dress up for Halloween or have a party because they say it is a religious holiday and they don't want to offend anyone else's religious beliefs. They also will not allow xmas parties anymore for the same reason. This pisses me off! They want to keep religion out of the school to keep from offending anyone, but they force our kids to say "one nation under god" in the pledge of allegiance?!?!?! I know I haven't been around here for a while but I was trying to spend as much time as I could with my dad. He has now passed away. It doesn't make it any easier knowing that this day was coming. So tomorrow is Halloween and my son's daycare isn't allowing the children to dress up. When I ask them why they tell me because of religion. RELIGION? WTF? This is just a quickie. I am just curious to hear from women about nice guys. Do you like them. Do you prefer them or the so-called "bad guys" for relationships. Remember that sometimes they can be taken away from you to soon.....my niece was recently taken from our lives, at the young age of 17, in an auto accident. Saturday October the 27th, 5:26 a.m. in a freak accident on Interstate 75. She will be missed so much by her family and friends, its hard to describe, you never know how it feels unless its happened to you. I still can't believe it, but its true, I think. She will be missed by so many people, but will always be remembered. She was an organ donor, so hopefully she has saved a few lives, so her soul will live on. on oct29 at 6:45pm washington time my aunt who is partly paralised fell and ended up breaking her right arm..the break was a good break but she is in a lot of pain.. as of this friday i am on my way home back to my job and my loving husband.. i feel like i am abandoning her because she needs me more now then when i came to washington to help her after her carpal tunnel surgery on the 15th of october.. but if i stay i will loose my job and my marriage..so i took most of today and got her hooked up with home health where some one will come into her home everyday and help her dress bathe cook and clean... so i feel i have done a good thing for her and this gives me time to get my life together to get things in order so that i can move to washington with my husband and be able to get a job so support us plus take care of my aunt then...so why do i feel like i am leaving her helpless for now even though she qualifies for in home help until i get back to washington???

Thoughts
Sometimes I wonder why life has led me in the direction I am currently headed. I am not totally oblivious to the decisions and mistakes I have made that have drastically altered my course. I can think back and clearly recall experiences that were beyond belief and some that were nothing short of devistating. I alsoam completely aware that at any moment the "tides" could change and I could wind up "sailing" in a completely different direction. Getting Cold

Kind of wondering what goes through some women's minds as they go through life constantly complaining that "good guys" never ask them out, or that claim "guys only want 1 thing". He seems to be doing great! He’s being ornery and keeping the nurses on their toes. They found out that he didn’t break/crack anything during the fall. They did, however, suspect that he might have fractured his number one vertebrae. After some scans they found out nothing was wrong other than then typical back problems that elderly have. They also suspected that he had stomach ulcers which they did an Endoscope today and found no ulcers but they did find some stomach irrigation due to pain medications. I recently saved my lead singer's guitar from a certain trip to the junkyard! He had purchased an Indonesian made Squire Telecaster for $200 (the new sale price) a while back. for the last few years I didn't have a real good imagie of myself as far as my body and personality was. I just got out of a divorce which was mentally abusive...how i've learned time will heal and a person can grow. I've lost 40lbs since last July and i'm pretty happy about that...while there are areas that i need to work on there's other parts where i'm glad they are how they are now. I love my chest even as i have lost weight it's still there...i also like my butt...i'm curvier now but not blobby as much...now i just want to tighten things up. I'm not looking to be some size 8...i like my curves now and i've had some people notice how i look better so that makes me feel better. summer is coming up so i need to start working on my arms more. HELLO TO ALL AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO THOSE WHO CELEBRATE IT. Actually here, in Lithuania, traditions differ much from your western ones. Being mostly Catholic nation, Lithuanians tend to have less fun in any of the festivities. We don't have Halloween as a such. We celebrate ALL SAINTS DAY (November 1) and ALL SOULS DAY (November 2)by going to a church for a mass (those who are more practicing Catholics) and the rest have a 'duty' to visit all relatives' tombs wherever they might be. So all country starts travelling to the smallest village cemetries to visit their grandparents and great-grandparents in that way. They bring flowers, and candles and in the evenings the whole cemetry looks like a small separate town with lots of lights on. There is no fear, no haunting, no scaring over these days; only memories, attention and very peaceful, spiritual atmosphere, with huge family reunions. This is what I wanted to share with you today. Health Update
I have finally received a report from my consultant regarding my carpal tunnel syndrome. He has confirmed despite that my nerve conduction tests were normal that I do have carpal tunnel syndrome. While I was in hospital with pneumonia I had an x-ray of my C-spine to check for a cervical rib but none was present. My thyroid tests were normal. For the moment I am not having many problems with my condition. Because of this I have been advised not to have any surgery at this time as it might produce pillar pain which might interfere with my work and cause me to have a few months of work. When I next have pain I will have further steroid injections and if necessary after that I will have surgery. I currently have pneumonia, it started with a cold a week ago when I got back from London. I was admitted to hospital on Wednesday night straight after seeing my doctor.
