My Only Wish

May 15th..what A Joke
Yet again.....we face this lame holiday of "don't buy gas day" some horse shit about it working and dropping 30 cents over night is a cup of bologna. Just got home from my new Thursday Surgery Clinic. I have to admit I think I am going to like this better. Reasons, everyone always wants reasons why I am the way I am. Honestly, I would like to know myself. So I write about what hurts, what feels good, what makes me cry and what makes me feel. I want to know why: I cry. I'm screaming silently inside. I'm happy for a moment and then I lose it. I'm free but I hold back. I hate myself every time I look in the mirror. I drown in my self-pity. Well today is the day. I called 1-800-QUIT-NOW a week ago Thursday. I had seen their commercial that said they offered all kinds of free help and stuff to assist people in quitting smoking. Anyway after about a few minutes with an operator, and another half an hour with a "quit-coach", I was all signed up. They ask you a bunch of questions; whether you use cigarettes or chew, how often you use, how long you've been using, and when you want your "quit-date" to be. I thought that was funny, like they were gonna send someone over to keep me occupied so I wouldn't smoke, and I kept thinking "What about after my quit-date and I do it?" and "I'm really going to want a smoke then." Vacation
Surpisingly enough I get a break this weekend and get to getaway from everything(2 out of 3 kids, my husband, etc.). I'm going to spend the night at my aunt's house and then tomorrow my sister, my mom, my oldest son, and my aunt are going to New York for the day. My Best Friend
I just found out a couple of days ago that my Best Friend has been in the hospital with a collapsed lung she is now on oxygen 24/7 and can't sleep in her bed anymore she has to sleep in a chair so she is sitting up so she can breathe.I called her to check on her and she could not hardly talk.She was crying saying she thinks she is going to die and that she is scared.All I could do was cry with her because I don't even know what is going to happen to her.When she came into my life I never even thought we would be friends let alone Best Friends we met through my ex b/f we are now so close that we are more like sisters.She has 2 great kids 15 and 6 and has a great personality that just rubs off on people.I am so bless to have her as my Best Friend.I am praying for her all the time and if you read this I hope you will to.She is a mother,a daughter,a aunt,a niece,and my Best Friend.

Recent update 8-26-07 And once again....here's Taer! So its time once more for a basic update on my life. Work has been completely slow over the last week, thankfully through wise spending choices I have my rent paid a month in advanced. Today and yesterday I worked for our company's general manager pulling weeds at her home for $10 an hour cash, compared to the casino's property (which usually takes me over a week to de-weed) this was as good as easy money. First Week
The first week of school has gone pretty smoothly. The kids are glad that it has started back up. Joey took up band this year, he's playing the Alto Sax. He's not to bad, just needs more practice at it. If he really puts in the effort we're thinking of buying him his own sax. He's excited about that one. Devon is excited as well. This is her first year in middle school. I hope she does as well there as she did in elementary school. I think she'll be fine and do well. She has all the help she could want here at home. Movie Review
Hello everyone. I plan on using this blog for movie and television shows reviews. I know, who needs another critic. It's just my humble opinion. Feel free to agree, disagree, comment or whatever. First up: Stardust I saw this movie last week after hearing some good word of mouth about it. I thought it was an excellent movie. It had a good story, very good acting, (Michelle Pfeifer was Great!)and good special effects. There was a lot of humor as well as plenty of action and romance. It reminded me a lot of The Princess Bride. It had a great deal of the same qualities. Very good movie for the whole family to see together. I highly recommend it! Well, that's all for now.
