Ok, I'm not often a blogger but this is something I need to get off my chest and this may be the best place to do so. Why do I let myself get hurt day after day? Why do I love him so much even when he's obviously tossed me aside for a new lifestyle? Travels
For those who didn't know I've been in Amsterdam for three days. Back home now to my more mundane surroundings for a bit of recovery so I thought I'd write a bit on the subject. Ok, so now I'm not sure what I was going to write... hmm... wait a sec.... Well, the trip was for my friend's stag do (bachelor party to those across the pond). We left Oxford at about 7am on Saturday. Getting there was a bit of a mission. It involved driving, then a bus ride, then a plane journey, then some walking, then a tram ride, then some more walking. Finally got to the appartment at about 3pm. The appartment was a pretty cool place to stay. There was only really supposed to be four of us and the appartment supposedly slept a maximum of six, but there was plenty of space for all eight. There were two bedrooms, but we brought a few blow up mattresses so it worked pretty well. The rest of the first day we just spent wandering the streets of Amsterdam really... Just An Update
So its Sunday tomorrow Tristen goes back to school. Alexzander & Kieyah go back to daycare. As for me starting school. I have decided to go back to school to finish my high school. For those people that don't know I got pregnant with my oldest when I was 17 and was unable to stay in school. I have though long and hard about going back to school. Looked in to regular high school and places that I can go and do the work myself without a teacher. I found out that the Native Friendship Center in my area offered schooling. As I am 23 year old I have the choice to pick my own hours the only thing is I have to finish 20h a week 2 lessons a week and do some weekly goal sheet. I figured I can handle that no problem. Yes I have a sister who's name will be changed to protect her but I have to say that when we were growing up I was raised to watch over Eve but I knew I wasn't going to be there for ever, Yes I ran scrubs off many times but it was for her own good. Dear Dr. Phil, When I retired this past summer, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -bass fishing. I got my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife to join me, but she just never liked fishing. He was just sitting in his own little world lost in his tunes pumping through the headphones. His back up against the cold metal beam of the waiting platform; waiting for the next train to burst through. Within moments a rush of air signals its arrival. Sliding in to the open slot next to the windows, he thought nothing of his familiar surroundings. It was the same trip and environment that he has been in so many days before. The train jerked to signal the start of the benign routine. The trains movements snapped his head and brought his eyes back up to stare out the crusty windows of the car. The eroding landscape of the city is played out before him like bits of corroded information. At points his visions and the music in his head collide and things make more sense for but a brief moment. As he is lost out the window something catches his eye. Sorry I haven't been on here much, been in Tennessee. She made it through the surgery fine. They had trouble with her blood pressure at first but now it is up. She has developed pneumonia, but they have been giving her some really good anti-biotic drugs and and it to where she will be able to come home Monday. This is good because now I don't have to worry about driving down there in case something was to happen. I appreciate everyone's support through all of this. Well we just got back from the specialist today and they have told use this...the mass in her abdomen looks to be 50/50 on ovarian cancer. So many days, so little blogs. It's strange, as much as I like to write, when it comes to writing about myself I absolutly stink at it. Still, it never stops me from giving a go at it. Illness
I have not been around for a while because I have been very ill. I cannot keep down food or water and I now have an appointment tomorrow to have a port put in my arm for fluids. Not a pretty site. I have heard wonderful things about this book ..and series..so I thought I would get them to read. I have to say the book is quite interesting..although i love to read a variety of books. I got to thinking though as I was reading it. I hear of women being submissive..and I see quite a few on here who have it in there name..like they are proud of it. This has been quite a year. Alot to adjust to. New faces. New home. Pretty much a rollercoaster ride. The only constant has been my son. So..... We had relatives in last week...Hubby's sister from New York City and her son from California. Had a great time...site seeing and playing tourist. This Summer
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS to all my family and friends. It's been a very long summer filled with in and out of the hospital visits and spending time with Dyani and family. I wont get into the hospital trips to much, I will say a couple of surgeries and a lot complications involved. I was emotionally down and drained from it all for most of the summer but feeling better and have been trying to make the most of the time off with Dyani before she starts back to school. Change Of Pace
Ok heres an update on how my grandmother is doing from my last blog (hell my only blog for that matter). My grandmother made it through surgery alright. They completed the triple bypass without any complications. When I left the hospital to come home for a lil bit she was showing good signs that she knows what is goin on around her (this is important cuz they are fearful she could have a stroke after having an operation like this). They said she seems to be breathing without the benefit of the respirator but she has to keep that in her until she can take deep breathes. Other then that its pretty much just a wait and see for the next day or so to see how she pulls through it all. We are hopeful to get her out of ICU by tomorrow but that all just depends on her really. The difficult part about her being in the ICU unit is the fact that the family only gets to go back there during certain designated times and only 2 ppl are allowed back at a time. I have neglected my medication. I have not taken not one pill sense I have returned home. I only took my medicine twice this month, and those two were while I was in PA. Joel asked me to, so I did. I am a disaster. I am over run with anxiety. I am over ran with emotions that are as uncontrollable as a wild horse. Tears and myself are no stranger. If I am not laying in bed crying. I am sitting alone crying. My decisions in life have gone astray. And I am doing my best to get all of this out. If I had to name one emotion that I am over come by.
