Kind Of Sad
I know hardly anyone knows me on this thing, and probably wont put much thought into this, but I just wanna talk about it. Tomorrow, this time last yr, my aunt "Nu Nu" as we called her, died of Bone Cancer. She battled this cancer a little over 7 yrs and decided that December that she was done fighting the fight. It was hard to accept, but she was tired, very tired. I miss her dearly, I saw her the last few days she was alive and it was hard to watch, my aunt, then 43, had so much to give and gave so much. She was a real good friend to me and I miss her laugh, I miss the funny things she did.. she was an awesome aunt, mother, wife, grandmother and its still so hard to accept that she is gone. Four months later my step dad died of complications from throat cancer, that was a major blow too, we knew he was sick, but the doctors made it seem as though things were looking up and then he just died... so unexpectedly. I miss him a lot too, he was a great guy and treated me just like I w

Another New Year is upon us and I have taken the time recently to reflect on 2007. I can genuinely say it was one of the most difficult years of my life. Do you ever get that feeling that your life will soon be coming to a tragic end. You get paranoid and you’re constantly looking over your shoulder. You’re just waiting for a stray bullet in a drive by or you fantasize about getting into a horrible auto accident that no one survives. I'm Back!
Sorry I was gone for over 3 weeks but some morons screwed up the internet here and I've been going nutz w/o it. While I was gone 2 bad things happened too. 12 days ago the enemy hit us with some rockets. Nobody got hurt fortunately, but its still unnerving when they hit. Right before that I found out that my older brother, Gregory, died at age 62. I had not seen or spoken to him in over 10 years (his fault, not mine) and he was cremated by the time I was told he was dead. He was a nere-do-well, but I loved him anyway and I'll miss him always. I'm gonna get a tattoo for him when I go on leave in July. I don't have any and now getting one seems like a good thing to do. i hope someone here reads this and shows me they are happy I'm here again!
