Maui Trip
hey everyone I hope your thanksgivings where great. I had a spectacular time for my holiday, partly because I spent it in Maui!!! Okay so I just got back from my long two week vacation and I specifically requested the day after I got back into town off from work. IDK what the scheduler was thinking, but I went back to work the next day. I haven't even been home for twenty-four hours and already I want to go back on vacation. It's not that I don't like my job because I do. It would just be nice to actually have a full twenty-four hours to settle in before having to jump back into the swing of things. I've been working from 3pm until 10pm every night since I've been home and after work I usually go out to a friend's house to chill and catch up on old times until 2am. I have little time to myself, unless I'm sleeping. I just wish I had some time to myself! It's not fair for me to come back from vacation just to go right back to work!

We went to see Motley Crew and Aerosmith in concert last night. Off To Sonoma County
I leave today for 3 months in Sonoma County. For the first time since 2001, the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, will have commercial traffic. I get to go there and setup security, and train local people to run it. This is what I do, and why I am only at home 2 months a year. I can't wait for 3 months in wine country. My Vacation Week
Well the week started good, the weather was nice, and we really had some good days to get alot accomplished, then after a few days it turned cold, and couldn't finish what we wanted to. Hubby worked on my car and got the back shocks, transmission boot, and the front disc brakes done. The only things he has to work on now is my water pump, radiator, and head. He also got his new truck!!! We had that towed to our house and he got the part it needed, which was the control arm that hooks to the I-Beam and the tire. That took one whole day to get done, taking the old one off was the hardest cause it was bent really bad, but putting the new one on was easy! We had a good week together, got a lot of the things done that needed to be done, still have so much more. He had to call in on Friday to see when he was leaving and where he was going, unfortunately he had to leave Easter Sunday at 5 am :( ! AHHHHHHHHHHHH someone help me!! I have been goin through a lot the past couple of days.........weeks... It sucks. My grandpa ( who I am very close to) is fading. He went to the hospital about a month in a half ago and had a pacer inserted into him. Well, he went back to the hospital on Sunday and the pacer wasn't very good. The doctor told my mom (her dad) and I at the hospital that we have to take one day at a time and pray. We have to secure the monehts we have with him. He is only 75. I guess it's time for him to leave. :( I don't want him to, but I have no choice. He had a great life. Him and I did a lot of fun stuff togther. I will NEVER forget how much I love him...

I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ..... But that's not the worst of it. My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close. My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather. My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. Yoga In The A.m.
Hey everybody, So this morning I get up and I go get ready to do my morning yoga. I stopped running a few years ago since my knee was injured in Iraq. But now, I'm starting to think that I should start running again.... maybe not as constant or as aggressively as I did before but go at my own pace and just enjoy being outside and by myself. Now, I've never been a flexible guy, most guys in my family on both sides were farmers and cornfed Oklahoma guys that if you mention the word Yoga, suddenly their best Star Wars reference comes out and the jokes on you. Wisconsin Weather
Wisconsin wheather sucks!!! How it can be 45 degrees out and than less than 12 hrs later be 20 below is beyond me. Old Cowboys
In 1963, I was still just a babe in arms, barely off the floor, but that year something happened that is my earliest memory. Mom and Dad had gathered up enough capitol and credit to buy a place, 104 acres of prime West Virginia mountain top, which was dubbed "Pumpkin Knob". By the time we got moved in, fixed what needed to be fixed to survive the winter, and laid in some supplies, we were pretty broke. If I may describe the place, starting at the foot of the hill, there was kind of a 2 mud track road that snaked up the side of the hill that was extremely steep at places. Plus it only took 3 drops of rain on a cigarette paper to make it slick as snot on glass! You topped out the hill after about a mile of this steep climb to a saddle back (level spot between mountain peeks) where the house and barns sat. The house was a bit 2 story affair, very solid, but kind of drafty. We had a well behind the house, and a hand pump. Out baths were in a 10 gauge tub in front of our wood stove. Kitche

Why are people on these types of sites so fake? If you are honest with people and they don't like your opinion they block you and hide. That's one of the biggest problems in the world today, everyone is scared of differences. people kill other people because that person didn't like their shoes or looked at them funny. Grow up. not everyone will like you. not everyone will like me. that doesn't mean they don't respect you. stop being whinny asses and face the facts that not everyone is going to like everyone.
