Slacking At Work
Ironing shirt before work = good. Ironing thumb in process = bad. Ouch. I don't get it. Our company has a warehouse/release program since we do name badges. It makes it easier for people who have a high turnover or who just need one badge at a time usually. To demonstrate how it works we set up a "dummy" program. We give people the login and password and they can log in and play around with the program to see all the features and even go through the process of releasing a badge without having to worry about actual badges being created. It's a great tool and I've sent many people there and walked many others through it. More often than not I've sold people on the idea after they've tried it out. It's been a while since I have blogged, I guess I've not had much to say. Now I have something to say so here I am. On the 31st of March sometime between midnight and 2AM my grandmother (forever known to you as my Gaw Gaw) passed away. My mother finally made it into town on Friday and we met at my Gaw Gaw's house only to find other distant family members had made their way through to pick out what they wanted. I wont go into the nightmare this has been. On Friday my mother picked up my Gaw Gaw's ashes and today we released her into the Gulf of Mexico... it's as close to the ocean as I can get here in Houston, Texas. It was a simple ceremony... we read Psalms 23 and then released the ashes with some rose petals at the same time and then we sang Amazing Grace... a song that was last sang almost 12 years ago at my sister's funeral... but I digress. I've been at the breast care center for an hour now... still waiting for the radiation oncologist. Yes, I need radiation treatments. This will involve 5 days a week, for idk how many weeks - they say it's usually 5 or 6. More details after I actually talk to the guy. I'm sitting in this stupid hospital gown waiting... waiting... waiting... --------------- Update: 6 weeks of radiation monday through friday then tamoxifen or equivalent to produce early menopause - just in time for my 36th birthday. I finally heard back from my surgical oncologist, who apologized and hadn't realized nobody had called me yet about my pathology results. Soooooo.... good news and bad news. The good news - my lymph node came back negative, meaning the cancer did not spread. The bad news - there was apparently a bit of tumor very close to where they were removing tissue during the mastectomy. Jayden And New Pregnancy Updates
Well everything with my pregnancy has been going ok besides that i have been having contractions constantly. I went into preterm labor at 31 weeks and 4 days and i was in the hospital for 3 days before they finally got it stopped and then after that i broke my foot falling down the stairs at my house but the pregnancy has been ok. well yesterday and lastnight i was feeling bad hard contractions but the baby wasnt moving and usually she is very very active so i got worried and decided to go to the hospital. Quitting Smoking - For The Ninetyth Time This Week
I have managed to last longer than I did last time without the fags, stopped on the 12th March and haven't smoked since. Sauce: 1/2 cup cornstarch 1/4 cup water 1+1/2 tsp minced garlic 1+1/2 tsp minced ginger root 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup cooking wine 1+1/2 cup hot chicken broth 1 tsp monosodium glutamate (optional) Meat: 3 lbs deboned dark chicken meat, cut into large chunks 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tsp white pepper 1 egg 1 cup cornstarch Vegetable oil for deep−frying 2 cups sliced green onions 16 small dried hot peppers Mix 1/2 cup cornstarch with water. Add garlic, ginger, sugar, 1/2 cup soy sauce, vinegar, wine, chicken broth and MSG (if desired). Stir until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until needed. In separate bowl, mix chicken, 1/4 cup soy sauce and white pepper. Stir in egg. Add 1 cup cornstarch and mix until chicken pieces are coated evenly . Hi everyone, Its been quite a while since i have been on here. My daughter had a massive seizure labor day weekend, found out she has epilepsy. That was a scary episode in our lives but she is doing great now... back to her playful carefree self. She's on medication 3 times a day to help keep her seizures under control. Sure has been an insane time for me lately. My brother came to stay for 2 weeks. It was supposed to be 11 days but he wanted to go home Monday instead of Friday so it went 2 weeks. I was tickled pink! We mended some wounds that have bothered me for quite a long time. Time will tell if he will come again to visit but he said in front of Aunt Liz that he does want to. I'm really happy about that. Of course I been stressing over waiting. And waiting. And waiting. No insurance to surgeon office updates every time I called. Then things around here got BAD. Shane, Sue's youngest son was almost killed in a motorcycle accident a week ago. He is a mess. But luckily he was so healthy that he is improving faster then doctors thought he could. He's had 4 or 5 surgeries so far repairing the damage. Life
I have a couple of things going on. On Sat. the 23rd I will be meeting my fu hubby and starting my life with him. Im very excited about this. Next on the 26th I will be having my first surgery and having my gall bladder removed. This I am very nervous about, but it needs to be done seeing I have been sick for like the last month. So if you are wondering why im not online that much....those would be the reasons why. They have moved her to a nursing home for a little rehab. She has alot that needs to be done before she can come home. So we will see how long she will be in there. Thanks again for all the love and support I thought I would give you all an update. I am the kind of person when it comes to this I keep to myself. One person knows everything that is going on only because he knows me and my mom. Anyways she is stable now. Her heart stopped for about 5 mins on Friday so all week and weekend I have been with her. They plan to keep her at least another week for observation and test

2 or 3 baking potatoes 1 1/2 cups skimmed milk 2 tablespoons flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 cup shredded low fat cheddar cheese Peel and slice potatoes thinly. In a saucepan, combine milk, flour, salt, garlic powder and cayenne pepper and cook over medium heat until sauce thickens. Layer casserole dish with potato slices. Turn the dough onto a well floured work surface. Knead rhythmically for 10 to 15 minutes, until the dough is smooth, springy, nonsticky, and elastic. Add more flour as you knead if necessary. Who Knows Whats In This Mind Of Mine
so, my brain surgery was 2/1, still recovering. On the 13th I ended up aspirating, for those who don't know what that means I vomited and acid washed back into my lungs. I'd gotten food poisoning and aspirated when my body rejected the bad Mc' Donalds. You can bet I wont eat there again. Well my lungs filled up with so much acid my back and chest were on fire. When I first came back to the fu last night there were alot of people asking where I had been. Here is the story for those that want to know. Approximately 2 months ago I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Anyone that knows anything about this type of cancer knows the battle I face ahead of me. And if you don't there are plenty of places on the net that you can find information about it. New years eve I was in the emergency room and diagnosed with pancreatitis. It was a mild case and instead of admitting me the doctor put me on a liquid diet and sent me home. Two weeks later I made a trip to see my kids on the other side of the state. By the time I got there my gut was hurting so bad I could barely walk. I being me, figured I could take care of it myself and put myself back on the liquid diet. A couple days later I was in the hospital being fed intraveneously for 2 days. A visit to the cat-scan and some other tests revealed a "growth" on my pancreas. A few weeks ago I had a

There are times that I wish I could be one of those cruel, heartless people that just doesn't care about others and their feelings. Mans thirst for more has turned the PPV cage fights into Death Race, where prisoners race each other in souped up, iron plated, heavy weaponed cars. In the last race, Machine Gun Joe, played by Tyrese, took out Frankenstein. So Hennessey, played by Joan Allen, "arranges" for Jensen Ames, played by Jason Hottness...I mean Statham. He was a driver on the outside, and a good one. And she needed someone to wear the Frankenstein mask, with the same skill set. And it goes from there. Ames is blackmailed into driving, and the games begin. The script was somewhat predictable. Loosely based on the 1975 film Death Race 2000...and I do mean loosely, it gave a few new twists, but nothing spectacular. But this movie was about the action, not the plot. I wish I could just say the words that’d make everything better. I've noticed in my own life, that all too often i get stuck in the friend zone. Either due to my own missed opportunities or cluelessness. Or cause i'm "too" nice at times. I dont know.
