While we thank the Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) for launching a full investigation into this apparent act of extreme animal abuse, we want to make sure that the punishment reflects the serious nature of this violent act. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. After the passing of a loved one over the Holiday season, I found my daughter and I traveling back home over the Holidays. IM so bored!! im layed up AGAIN! with a knee injury.. at this rate im gunna need a new knee by the age of 35. UPDATE! so i had the surgery and it went well! BUT i fell on thursday last week and i busted the stitched and retore things that were fixed to they have to go back in 2 more times! woohoo.. but theres the latest on my soldier news so yesterday i had my knee surgery.. lasted 4.5 hrs.. sucked! im in a whole heap of pain today but im dealling..

I am goin to have surgery again on the 19th of this month. They will be takin out my uterus & ovaries. They said I had more problems than just the endometriosis & that is the reason for them wanting it done so soon. I will be in the hospital for at least two days. I will be off work for at least 6 wks. I hope everything goes smoothly. Keep me in your prayers. Looks like there may be more than surgery for me in the future. This time will end up being them going in and getting a look at what is all goin on. Luckly this mean this time that I will only be out of work for just a few days. Which is good cause I need to be working right now. But they told me once this one is done they can go ahead with the major surgery at a later date. I had the sugery today. Im 30 days away from having my shoulder rebuilt and honestly scared as hell. I have talked to a few people who have had the surgery they say I need and have been told not to have it. To tell you all the situation, I tore my Rotator Cuff playing football five years ago. That is the group of muscles that keep your shoulder functioning properly. My shoulder comes out of socket doing things as simple as giving someone a high-five for example and I have to put it back in. This as you can only imagine hurts like a bitch! Hi everyone, well had surgery on the 13th of Feb ...They had to go in and try to fix the damaged nerve in my left elbow so they tore out some tissue in between the two bones cause they couldn't get the two bones to stop rubbing on the damaged nerve so they thought they'd make room with taking out the tissue in there to see if it would help.. Because they couldn't get the nerve to extend any to take it out from in between the two bones... Well went and got the stitches out last week they said it looks good but my elbow part is still numb not sure if its supose to be like that or not he said he'll see me in another month to see if the healing is still going good or not... But still in some pain and wondering if its supose to be like this but i can't seeh im untill next month now... So might get ahold of my family dr and go see him and see what he says he's a good dr and will see me and give me good advice i've been with him since 99 ... OK here is the deal.......March 22nd at Jefferson Hospital.....I will undergo a real scary surgery. They will take 2 bones from what I have no idea but anyway 2 bones one to be put in the c-5/c-6 and one shaved down to make my neck & spine of normal curvature at the c-4/c-5!! Like it is a shock to me that I am defective..lol... then take a metal plate to keep them in place it will take 4 to 6 months for recovery! I am sure I will be needing the company of my Cherry Tap Bud's Wish me strength and endurance! Well, now I have more crap to deal with. I had a stress test done yesterday and even before I got to my appointment I got in a bender 2 blocks from my appointment took a cop an hour and 15 minutes to show in Center City Philly man! That is unreal. Well I got a call today and the left side of my heart is not pumping the blood like it should so....the long and the short of it is that I am still cleared for surgery on the 22nd just have to see a heart specialist after!

So because of the type of cyst I have they are going to do the surgery.I found out at my pre op appt. that it is not only fluid filled but aslo has solid mass.So they're gonna go in and take it out and do a biopsy.I'm scared as shit!The Dr said she would do everything in her power to leave some healthy tissue behind so that I can still produce hormones(I had an eptopic prgnancy where they removed my tube ,but I can't remember if my other ovary was involved,I'm praying not)And then I got the idea running through my head that if the cyst comes back as malignant it's all not really gonna matter anyhow.I really don't want to have to have all my reproductive organs removed and go on hormones.There is going to be a 6 to 8 week recovery time and I'm at loss as to whos gonna help me with my son,We only have my siter and brother inlaw out here and they both work and I'd hate for my Husband to have to use all of his sick and vacation time up to stay home and take care of the both of us.Just so m

Well I have great new!!!. There's no canser. I am going to be fine. I will kow in a month if I have to go under the knofe again. Monday I went to my Dr. appointment for my open wound and it was infected. They admitted me back into the hospital and I had surgery Tuesday to have a wound vac inserted. I am in pain! Hey ya'll, I'm sure many of you have been wondering where I've disappeared too these last few days. Monday while I was at work I got really sick all of a sudden and the girls I worked with made me go to ER. Seems I had a gallbladder attack, so they did an emergency operation to remove it. They found a gallstone inside of it that measure 2.5 cm wide. No wonder I was hurting so dang bad. Good news though, I am home now and starting to recuperate from the 4 holes I had cut into my abdomen to remove it. I'll try to get on here as much as I can to let everyone know how I'm doing. I went to the DR and just had bloodwork done and she marked it urgent as to have the results in a couple hours. Plus I have to have another cat scan done to make sure the emergency surgery they did back in August actually repaired everything. She thinks there is a block in the circulation to my kidneys that is draining my potassium and causing my BP to sky rocket again. It was 189/133 an hour ago. And Im on meds that usually control it. If there is a block then I need more surgery and Im scared. Im tired of being poked and prodded and sliced and diced. I eat right, I excercise and take good care of myself and my family. This is not my surgery, but this is what they did. I had my surgery today and so far so good. For those who don't know I tore my rotator cuff back in July. Today I had an arthroscopic procedure to sew up the tear, insert an anchor, and reattach the bicep. Doc said the tear in the labrum was not as bad as the MRI showed, but the tear in the cuff was worse than expected. So now I'm resting somewhat comfortably with percocet and this nifty cold water circulating device wrapped around my shoulder. Thank you Nancy for being my helper today so my wife could tend to the kids and make the day as normal as possible for them (and her). Days like this remind me of what a wonderful family I have. They are doing everything they can to make me comfortable. A long rehab is ahead of me but with the family and friends I am fortunate to have, it will be a breeze.

Well as alot of my close friends know I went under the knife in an emergency surgery back in August of this year. It was a hell of a time recovering but the outside is healed up very nicely but the insides will take another good year. Muscles take forever to heal when they are paper thin...lol Ive have been having more health problems so I went to the DR and had a battery of tests again, blood, ultra sound, CT scans and MRI. Got the results this morning. Im going under the knife again. They found a huge tumor that keeps twisting and cutting off blood flow. So If its not removed ASAP it will be fatal.So I will keep you all updated on when I will be going in the hospital...Dr is planning on day before Christmas.But we shall see. Last January I was diagnosed as having a slight case of HPV Ive been back to my doctors and my papsmear came up being it was more moderate to severe now and a few weeks later they did a biopsy on the abnormal cells they are saying its still a slight case but to be on the safe side my doctor wants me to have the day surgery where they will scrap away these abnormal cells..Today I had to go for a pre-op consult to discuss more about the surgery and the doctor had to check my heart and lungs well today my doctor seemed to hear a heart murmur something that seems to be out of the blue cause nobodys has ever heard me have one b4 so now b4 surgery tomorrow i have to go see my primary care doctor and see if he hears it too and if it will be ok for them to do the surgery friday...wish me all luck and please show me mad love since i am nervous as hell about all of this...I will be put to sleep during the surgery which i am thankful for because i would be anxious as hell if i had to be awake for

I just wanted to let u all know that I wont be on as much as I usually am for a few days because my 16 month old daughter Janessa had to go to Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh to have surgery. She fell and cut her self between the legs and they had to put her to sleep and numb her to get stitches. She went to the hospital on the 6th and had the surgery yesterday. She is home and doing pretty good so far. So please pray for her! She definetly needs it! Oh by the way there are pictures of her in my me folder while she was there! Well she ended up back at the emergency room on the 8th. She had a fever of 102.9 and her breathing was bad. They took more blood and xrayed her chest. She now has to be on a breathing machine with the albuterol. She has to go back to Childrens Hospital next week to check where her stitches are and back to her doctors office to check how her breathing is going. So I will update more later! Well some of you already know the problem I am having with my elbow and hand. But what is going on is I woke uone morning back in September of last year and my fore arm and hand was numb atime I thought nothing of it but it stayed like that all day. Then when I woke up the next morninwas still like that so I started to get concerned that same week I had a yearly check up for my blood pressure and things so I asked the doctor and she said that it was caused from my Ulnar Nerve in my elbow being pinched off from either leaning on it and even from sleeping on with it under my head. Well to make this a little shorter it has been numb now since September 2007 and it is only the ring finger, pinky half my palm and my fore arm that is numb and drives me crazy. I have tried therapy braces you name it so finally they have decided to do surgery on it the relieve the pressure off the nerve on March 27th Thank you to every one for concern about this and I will keep you informed after my surger

o.k... went to the doctor today and he said that my condition has changed/ got worse and that he wants more test before he does any surgery. when i first went in it was for pain down the left leg and hip....now both legs are numb up to the knees....woohoo...so no surgery for the time being. Hello everyone! I"m back home now. They had kept me over night, due to the extremely excruciating pain I was suffering.. I just want to thank all my fu friends for the support and care they have shown to me. I was in a pretty bad car accident in March 13th, and ended up crushing part of the bone that supports the right side of my right knee. I have to show up at the hospital at 6:15 AM, and will undergo a major operation, to repair my leg bone. Rods, screws, a bone graft or two, and possibly a plate will be needed to put everything back where it belongs... I can't thank you enough for the love you've shown, and the support, and care that you have given me. I look forward to getting back home, and back to all of you, my fu family and friends. For all you who know what is going on(and those of you that may not) it has come down to this...my doctor has decided and i have agreed, that with all the problems i have been having these last few months, that a hysterectomy is the last and only step/option left... Well I had the second part done on my lower back. Things didn't go so well. Surgeon hit a spot on my spine and caused me to have a spinal headache within 3 seconds!!! It's worse than a migraine!!! So far nothing is helping with the pain but I'm trying to stay hopeful....please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers!! Hey all... This really is not much of a blog more or less just letting everyone know how I was doing... For those of you who didn't know I had left knee surgery today... Things went well just a little sore more than anything.. They had to go in and clean up the lining under my knee cap and push my knee cap back into place, so I am in a knee immobilizer. Juliet at my parents house until Wednesday and then I will be going to Greg's house until Sunday. I am having surgery on the 19th of this month. They are going to fix my hernia and do an abdominal plasty at the same time. Also i have to have a mamogram they have found lumps in my chest. Just wanted to let my friends know how surgery went today. They had a terrible time getting breathing tube down me. I will require special procedure if needed in future. It was used in December for skin graft surgery but records sent over didnt state why so anesthesist tried normal procedure first. NOW he knows why! LOL Doctor said a larger incision was needed but I was still pretty out of is so forgot to ask why. Other than that it went well. Recovery took longer for some reason as well but I am home now and gonnaslip into more comfy clothes and chill out for a bit. Thank you all for the kind thoughts, wishes and prayers. So, another saturday night has come and gone. Another party over. As I quietly (becuz of my hangover) cleaned up this morning I had time to reflect on the previous nights events. I have participated in several surveys and have not qualified for any of them. It is frustrating when I do take the time to do them and they tell me I don't qualify. I'm either the wrong age, don't drink the right stuff or meet their income! why bother to offer the surveys and say u will get 10,000 cherry bucks or points for doing it.
