I finally got a promotion with my company after trying for 11 years and I love my new position, but have been on the road almost for 2 months since I started this position in July of this year. The only downside on it is I am by myself and miss my family and wish they could enjoy seeing some of the things I have seen over the last two months. Today i sit and rest. It was a long long week, assemble and weld assemble and weld, i worked 10 hrs a day for 6 days, and missed my total production by approx 400 prts..not bad can make that up if the robots want to run and the jig doesnt mess up somehow,,,Rest am i sitting and resting? i get up to put a load in the washer or dryer, i sit back down to the computer,and i really resting? lol They say a womans work is never done. i rem a time i couldnt wait for my kids to grow up and be on their own, and here that time has come and my life is just as if not more so hectec as ever...and i used to even have a spouse to wait on hand and foot! Now is just me and my son living here and still always busy and on the run! but come to think of it , it keeps me sane! keeps me alert! Still tho, sure would be nice to find someone willing to take me on a permanent vacation someday! lol

Last year a friend of mine upgraded GirlFriend v5.0, which installed itself as Fiancee v2.0. Recently, he then upgraded yet again to Wife v1.0 and found that it's a memory hog, leaving very little system resources for other applications. He also noticed that Wife is now spawning Child-Processes, which are further consuming valuable resources. The guy swears no mention of this particular phenomenon was included in the product brochure or the documentation, though other users have informed him that this is to be expected due to the nature of the application. Not only that, Wife installs itself such that it is always launched at system initialization where it can monitor all other system activity. He's finding that some applications such as PokerNight v10.3, BeerBash v2.5, and PubNight v7.0 are no longer able to run within the system at all, crashing the entire system when selected (even though they always worked fine before). I must say, what Zombie did was nothing short of a masterpiece! For you movie buffs who love remakes, this is for you! The gore, the plot, the thought provoking. The Dinity Memorial Moving Viet Nam Vet Wall.
On Tuesday afternoon a couple hundred bikers from the area escorted into the town the Dinity Viet Nam Vet memorial moving wall. the truck was pimped out to carry the wall place to place for everyone to see the 1/4 scale of the wall in DC.Not everyone can go to DC to see this memorial. The hush was enough to deafen you. On Thursday night it was all up and flowers put in the ground and blessed. I got the first glimpse of it and suddenly my heart dropped. It was 5 to 9 pm. Well had to renew my welfare yesterday. Reported the 125 that a friends of mine is putting into my account from her navy pay. They are taking the full 125 out of my check. This money is what was allowing me to get close to paying rent still had to borrow a few dollars from friends or home I got enough out of recycling. But no I am going to be short of rent again. Last nite my son had a football game. It started @ 7:30, we were ahead 6-0 at the half time. When halftime was all most over they anounce that the game is delayed because of lightening. So here it is another Saturday night. Gosh, time is going so fast. I finished my first month of my new job, and things are going well. I'm still quite thrilled with it. My 18 year old babelious daughter moved out today. She had planned to move out before, but some things needed to be worked out. It's not a surprise, nor was it done in anger or anything like that. She wants to be on her own. She shares an apartment with another girl, and they want a 3rd person to share rent. The apartment is less than a mile form here, and the chance of a "rebound" is good. I just wondered if other members have this happening to them.
