Inner Ranting

The Park
written Jan/07 by Jo It is a wonderful night, the moon high in the sky and getting fuller. It is a little cold but certainly could be worse. The clouds are but wisps intermingled with the stars. Twinkling like sparkling diamond flakes splattered in the sky. I was alone in the park, I had been there most of the day enjoying the sunshine and reading a wonderful mystery full of intrigue. I watched as the kids played ball and genuinely had a great time. I remembered laughing at a couple that was walking through holding hands and looked to be enjoying a very good talk with one another. Trip To Ft Hood
For a long time I have tried to get my wife to entertain other men as a part of our sexual experience. My first day at TSU is a trip, I get to school 2 hrs before my first class, so I wondered around a little bit, get me some breakfast, its all good. 8:45 get her so I make my way to class. I get there and I'm sitting in there for about 25-35 minuetes before some lady walk in and says that the professer isn't here today and we can go... She could said that 20 minuetes ago, and thats for real. Then I walk out the class, start looking for the next one, got lost in the building, and when I found my next class, it was right next door to my last class. I got out of there, went to the student center and it started pouring down raining and it is a good 8 minuete walk to my next class at 1 o' clock, this is mucho sad.

Simply Melissa....
Well, it wasn't bad enough that I lost my best friend of almost 20 years to Hurricane Katrina, but now, 3 days before the anniversary of her death, her 16 yr old daughter was killed in a auto accident. I got the news last night of what happened earlier that day. Three in the truck, NONE wearing seatbelts. All thrown from the truck. My best friend's daughter died at the scene. Her friend lost a leg. And the third, a boy, I'm not real sure what happened to him but I think he survived. This girl was like my own. I was there from the time she was born till the time she died. ::small grin of a memory:: She used to call me her Aunt Mel and told me she couldn't go see The Passion of the Christ cuz it was all in Hebrew. WTF is wrong with these teenagers that they think they're invincible?? Her mother ALWAYS made her wear a seatbelt. Did she think she could just stop since her mom is no longer here?? It's been 2 yrs since my friend's death and I haven't even grieved yet. I'm still numb over it.

Falling in love and love are two quiet different feeling. Falling in love can be either a flash of emotions or a first step towards love. Kitty Litter Cake 1 spice or German chocolate cake mix 1 white cake mix 2 large pkg vanilla instant pudding mix, prepared (I like Bird's® dessert mix) 1 large pkg vanilla sandwich cookies green food coloring 12 small Tootsie Rolls® 1 new kitty litter pan 1 new plastic kitty litter pan liner 1 new pooper scooper halloween recipes Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions (any size pans). Prepare pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble. Crumble white sandwich cookies in small batches in food processor, scraping often. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup. Ok...I love to cook...I really do. And I am good at it. I never knew how good I was until a week ago Sunday. My SCA friends and I had this idea for one of their b-days. We were going to do a competition like Iron Chef, only we would use things used at a campsite. No electric to be used whatsoever. So we got the contestants: Myself and my good friend Roger (check out Alaxander MacBlakrose on my friends list) and the secret ingredient was: APPLES!! They gave us that a week before so we could prepare. The day of the competition came and the rules were simple: had to make at least 3 dishes and you were judged on usage, presentation and flavour. I had come with 6 dishes in mind, but only ended up making 4. They started the competition and I was off. I made a dried apple compote, which consisted of dried apple rings, other dried fruit, sauteed in orange juice with lemon slices and cinnamon sticks. Laying alone at night just seems hopeless!!!! I had someone by myside for a few nights and I woke up smiling now I just barely wanna wake up. My Blog
So as most of you know, Colin and I moved into our rental house on August 3rd. We've been unpacking boxes ever since!! I don't remember having this much CRAP in the SMALLER apartment!! So the major to-do list for today was for Colin to mow the lawn and for me to start on the garage. When we first moved in the lazy movers put shite in there instead of in the rooms we asked them to, so it was kind of a shite pile for awhile. Well, we can now FINALLY park in our garage!! Colin did an excellent job on the lawn, then we dyed my hair after a MUCH NEEDED shower!! I also washed some blankets that were in the garage...and when I went to take them out of the washer, I wondered what all the black stuff was. It was the leftover shreddings of a black velvet blanket!! I was almost in tears till I found out Colin wasn't upset and that it was his ex's. But it took the two of us to extract it from the washer and into the trashcan so I could re-wash the other blankets! I've had a headache all

Recent update 8-26-07 And once again....here's Taer! So its time once more for a basic update on my life. Work has been completely slow over the last week, thankfully through wise spending choices I have my rent paid a month in advanced. Today and yesterday I worked for our company's general manager pulling weeds at her home for $10 an hour cash, compared to the casino's property (which usually takes me over a week to de-weed) this was as good as easy money. I got some reachargable batteries for my digicam so you can expect to see some new pics in the upcoming weeks. Also went to the casino last night with yesterdays pay($50) and won over $100. Today I still have to work but I can expect atleast another 20-30 which is great considering my usual jb only pays $8 an hour. For once I almost have my MP3 player full and I've begun burning DVDs to watch when I aint working. My Life
Today is just a day from Hell. This whole week has been. So my boyfriends Grand Mother passed away, then I recived news that one of my Brothers are in the hospital. He has a tumor the size of a soft ball in his stomach. This morning they are doing surgery to remove it. We don't know yet if it's cancer. I really hate this waiting game. The biggest thing that sucks is I live in a different state and can't be there. I'm really worried about our Mom as well,She had a stroke last year. Mom is back in the hospital. They took her back in with pneumonia. She had just finished an anti biotic for a bladder infection. The docotrs told her, and she told me that the end would be like this. One infection after another. Her bones have become so brittle from the cancer. And when they break the bad marrow that is released into her blood stream eats away the good blood cells. Wound up going to the emergency room yesterday I just couldnt take it anymore. Very few doctors available on Saturdays around here, I hate to use the Emergency room like that but I had to. And a good thing I did, I have somehow ruptured my ear drum. And let me tell you it hurts, it hurts bad. Thank god they gave me pain medicine, I'm not one for pills unless absolutely necessary but lord my ear was killing me, to the point of crying :-(. Still wish I knew how it happened, haven't been in any weird accidents, no ear infections, nothing. Woman kept asking me if someone was hitting me at home. I'm like laughing at here, my boyfriend would never do anything like that, heck I'm the grumpy one around here lol.

My Garden Of Jasmine And Lace
Down in the meadow where a creek runs through is my garden. It is green and colored with all sorts of pretty flowers. There are all different types of rose and hibiscus. Some plumeria sprinkled here and there. Oh don't forget a gardenia bush or two. But there is a very special place that I love to go. It is a large gazebo which is covered in English ivy and jasmine.
