Lost Soul
Ok...I have to get this out I guess..LOL I went on a lunch date with this guy and had a great time. We drove around for a bit, and really seemed to hit it off. So well that we planned a golf date...:) So here is the story Set it up for Saturday...and of course stuff happened, but to make a long story short I ended up being late. Mind you I had to drive an hour to get there, and there was an accident I didn't plan for, and construction work. But I did Make it just late. I had his number to call when I got there, but of course..stuff being the way it is and me being rushed..I left it at home. Some you know I have no phone of my own , neither home or cellular, by the way..:) So I end up hunting this golf course on my own with the hopes that he was there waiting. He wasn't. He apparently called and cancelled the tee time. As soon as I got home I got on the computer and wrote a message as to what happened with no reply from him. Nothing At All

Attention To My Friends
My friend Stu lost a very close friend recently to cervical cancer after a long battle. She had just enough time to say a heartbreaking goodbye to everyone before passing away. Kelle, was a wonderful, upbeat person who held strong through five years before succumbing to the cancer. She had introduced Stu to the Maryland Renaissance Festival, where he will be this weekend. The festival will be a melancholy event without her this year and toasts will be held in memory of her. Last night when I got to work I went into the team dining room and was sitting drinking my coffee, I happened to look around the room and to my surprise there sat Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie and Mark Chestnutt at a booth eating the same crap they feed us for lunch and dinner, LOL. I absolutely couldn't believe how down to earth these guys were. I mean hell Aaron was discussing his high cholesterol with them as he ate some cereal and drank a Heineken. So it's nice to know these guys are real just like the rest of us. As the headliners for the concert at the casino they could have eaten in the 4 star restaurant privately with their own chef. sorry i havent ben on too much but family matters has taken precedence it has been the hardest time of my life for a long time recently when i got the phone call to say my brother had been in a serious accident i felt like my world had collapsed now - less than 2 weeks later he may be coming home the transition is unbelievable i've lost track of the times my emotions have got the better of me and i have just cried and cried and now for something completely amazing..... he will come away from this with a broken foot and some cuts and bruises the boy is such a fighter i tip my hat to him in total admiration at his determination to recover my little brother ! he's still the luckiest bastard i know........

Another Chance
Well if you know me, I am one person who doesnt like to go without laughs. There has been a few times that I ran freakin scared and did nuttin but cry...........but that was short lived... Now i have had my surgery on my face and at this time with all the test iam back and no signs of cancer once again.. How could life get any better? That is the question I ask myself this morning, I have a great son a wonderful husband that has shown me how much he cares for me in the past couple days. A great job that is slow at the moment but still a good one. You know, I have really enjoyed this site thoroughly. Lately, however, it's getting ridiculous. I got out of a certain situation because friends were involved as well as people I don't know, care for or respect. I have too much drama in my day-to-day to get it here too. Ghost Tours And Other Experiences
I have been to San Diego twice during my time in the navy. The first time I didn’t experience anything. Mostly because I was visiting an old friend from boot camp, but the second time around I got to experience a lot of San Diego and learned and saw first hand a lot of what I saw on the t.v. One of the main goals this time around was to see the Whaley House in Old Town San Diego. The first day I rented a car and drove around the city familiarizing with the city. I found the USO where I spent half my free time. The other half was in Old Town San Diego. I fell in love with the area. Apart of me thought I used to live there in a past life. Frustration...
So... I enter the "Family" I am in here on Fubar... But what failed to happen is this: There are so many rules of what you can't do without permission... and all this stuff, and you would think I was informed of all of this... Nope, not at all... All I was told was I needed to devote atleast one hour a day to bombing... and I do... I bomb myself out everyday... I've been told numerous time that I do a better job than most bombers that have been in the family a lot longer than I have, yet, I can't get backing in a simple contest. Allen (my roommate) and I started our first batch of Mead last night. It is our first attempt at brewing anything. It was late last night when we started it. We pitched the yeast, and let it sit. Woke up this morning about 8, and the yeast was VERY active! We got it racked, and it smells sooooo good even at this early stage. In a few weeks, we will rack it again. It's exciting. 5 gallons of Mead on the way! I've gotten a few tips and ideas from close friends, and from a guy at the local brew shop. Everyone is so helpful. That's a great thing. People are willing to give advice and teach from their mistakes. No one keeps many secrets, but willing to tell their own personal secrets from their experience. This has been a good experience so far, and the journey has just begun. I'll keep everyone updated.

So, if you know me, which most of you don't that well, you'll know that I can't cook. I'm addicted to the microwave as much as I am sex. Most of my meals take anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes to make - unless it just sits there in the oven. Well ever since we moved to North Bay, my husband has gotten on shift work - (4) 12 hour days and 4 days off, two days and two nights. He only works with 5 different men, so I decided to bake him some brownies to bring in. They loved the brownies and asked that I make cookies. So I made some chocolate chip cookies and I'm going to make some cupcakes next week for him, too. So, any other suggestions on what I can make that doesn't involve a whole lot of effort on my part? I don't mind making stuff, but things that take hours, well ... my patience is limited.

I go to read the email and it said 29.99 Euros were deducted from my Paypal account. Sure enough 2 seconds later I get a paypal notice that a transaction took place. Still being wary I didnt click any links in the email and I hand-typed www.paypal.com and checked my account. Sure enough the motherfockers took every last penny in my Paypal. If it weren't for the fact the Credit card I used was expired and the bank account was closed that was attached to this paypal account I could have been wiped out. The new CD by Korn is pretty good, but as usual I'm confused......I can't figure out if it is self-titled or if it's titled "Untitled". The new CD by Linkin Park "Minutes to Midnight" is a mellow one. With the 3rd track "Leave out all the rest" pretty much setting the tone for other songs as well. "I bleed it out" is the reason I bought it, and I gotta say I'm happy with it, when I'm in a writting mood.....lol I heard on XM yesterday that Nine Inch Nails has released thier new cd "The Slip" as a free download fron thier website. Hi all u fubarians!!! I had a MUMM deleted this morning due to unknown causes. Strange Observations
So I find out last minute that I don't have work today. Fine. I go through a list in my head of things that I can get finished today because I always have tons of those. After eliminating the ones that that require the most effort, usually the ones that need to be done the most, I narrow it down to either a) doing my laundry or b) doing my laundry. After some deliberation I go with b) doing my laundry. Now, I am a shrewd little bastard and I devised a system for getting laundry done for free. During the course of the week I collect all my spare change and when I have to do laundry I cash it in, bring my clothes to the laundromat and have them do it for me. I say it's free because change doesn't really exist for me once I complete a purchase. If something costs me, let's say, $10.23 in my mind it costs me $11. Miscellaneous Stuff
Today was a very productive day for Grandma. When I got there at 10:00 AM she was awake and responsive. She was able to write to us on a piece of paper and make certain gestures that we would understand. She said she felt fine but was very hungry. Which is understandable since she hasn't eaten since Tuesday evening. Grandpa and I have been letting her sleep and have been checking in on her every hour or so. Around 2:00 PM the doctor okayed the removal of her endotracheal and stomach tubes. She was ecstatic! They removed them and the first words (or whispers) out of her mouth were "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" She asked for some food but they are only able to give her ice chips as of right now. They have been doing therapy on her arms and legs and hope to have her sitting up in a chair by tonight. Another thing that came out of her mouth was "Oh my god, I can breathe!" Now I have been on this site for some time now. I have gotten use to seeing "bling me" messages from people. But today I got one that just made me laugh. Funeral Today
ok so my father in laws furnal is today. im still having a hard time with it all. the annouced his cause of death yesterday. he slipped in to a diabetic coma while he was sleeping and stopped breathing. time of death was calculated at 4:30A.M. this is gonna be so hard. one of many reason is because my sons father will be there, and i am terrified what is gonna happen. i havent seen this man since my son was 18 months old. myson is now 5. so its gonna be hard. and if you know my sistuation with him, youll understand why i am scared to see him.
