Nebraska’s Safe haven law Okay, so here is the way the law was designed: when a young mom, new mom, or a mom who can not take care of her newborn wants to just give up her baby, she can only if she knows that the baby is going to be harmed in anyway, hence not going to be taken care of properly. I guess first before a baby is taken, the mom will have to go through counceling and then decide if she wants the baby or not. When law makers designed the law, originally, though(in July the law was passed), it was meant for infants and not for the older children to be abandoned at the hospitals. However, they did say in this ammendment that kids under the age of 19 are eligible for this Safe Haven Law in Nebraska, so therefore, this leave open doors for those parents that want to just abandon their kids just like that. In the past 24hrs though, there were 11cases of abandoned children at nebraska hospitals though. The state legislature now is looking at trying to change this law

Weather Conditions
Yippie!!! A heat wave - made it to the 30's today! OMG still a lot of snow on the ground and lets not forget my roof. The deicing cable doesn't appear to working that well still inches of ice. But then my youngest one day while it was in the 30's and no snow yet or ice on his roof went out to unplug it. (LOL, I can't remember telling him too as there was snow forecasted for the following day anyhow. But they say to unplug it if it's above freezing and there is no snow or ice on it so it doesn't wear out too fast. I'm thankful I have good neighbors, either my South side neighbor's Son-in-Law will hit with his blade when he comes over which isn't very often now that they have built their own house and have moved out a couple years ago now. To my wonderful friends I just wanted to let every one of my friends know that if you are an animal activist and dont like the fact that my son went out and got his first deer, it is meat for the table and has better flavor and better for you than beef. They are all innocent victims of being killed whatever animal be it pig, cows, fish, seafood, chicken, deer, elk all, are killed for meat. At least we are eating the meat and not leaving it lie out there to rot, like some people I have heard them shoot 30 deer, slottered and left out there to rot. So if my son going out to shoot a deer for meat on the table makes me a bad person you should not be a friend. Thank you.

Random Ramblings
Since I have been asked a few times I feel I should post the answer here..its a lot easier my pics are about 2 years old..I don't have any newer ones since then.. the reason being I had a very bad experience with a stalker. One that ended up with her (yes it was an older lady) in jail and me..well I ended up trapped in my car in a ditch after she ran me off the road. Needless to say this left me in not the greatest condition.. going to spare everyone all of the details but I'm in a wheel chair now and have other things wrong with me. I am uncomfortable with how I look right now.. I haven't had my picture taken for anything but the stalker's trial since the accident. I know everyone will say its ok and all that but the bottom line is I'm still not okw ith it all. I'm going to therapy and dealing with it the best way I can. Life In Rockwall
Well i moved to Rockwall about 2 months ago...from Tucson(lived there a year)...and so far its been about 90% negative and 10% positive...but i'm estimating. So far i still havent gotten to go see a movie...which was a fairly regular thing i did in Tucson. I go out to eat every now and then...but nothing is the same here. My job...well it isnt that great...i work at the same place i did before moving...sam's club...but here...its so slummy. I get stuck doing extra work every damn night because dayside people dont do their part. So far been in 2 accidents...i nearly totalled the car in the first one...because of damage underneath. No i wasnt drunk...no i didnt fall asleep at the wheel....i flew over a median on my way home from work that morning(was still dark out) doing 35,40(the legal speed limit where i was at). It started out by seeing a search crew...looking for a murdered female/her killer. It was in my backyard...looking similar to a graveyard...without headstones. They stumble across this one underground room, with steep stairs about 3-5 inches apart from one another, quite hard to walk. In this room there is merely a nasty old toilet, sink, and bathtub. They state "yeah, she was killed here". I went back inside. Later on, I had to urinate...so for some reason unknown, I went outside...and ran to the underground w.c. Fun Trip
So where do I start. Well I went down to San Diego over the weekend. I was finally able to spend some time with a girl that I have been chatting with on here for a little over 6 months I think. I got there Friday afternoon. I saw her get out of her car and was instantly excited and giddy like a school boy. I have not felt excited like that in along time. It felt kind of weird. So we were able to spend some good quality time toether. A movie, dinner, quality time, and just hanging out. I could not have asked for a better time or a better girl to spend my time with. We all know that typhoid is a very dangerous disease and could lead to death when left unattended. I was suffering from headache and high fever 3 days before I was confined. I just prayed to God and left everything in His hands. I am a Roman Catholic and I was raised in a Catholic School since Kindergarten until College. But I can say I am not that religious. So, last week I went to a funeral for a lady that I had taken care of the last year at my job. It was the first funeral I have gone to for a resident. It was kind of weird. I find myself at a pretty low point today. You know...one of those days when you question everything. Why did this happen? Did this mean anything? When will things get better? Why me? I'm asking for a tiny bit of assistance to those who know how to find hard to find car parts, or are extremely bored at work. I broke the outer shell to my 2001 toyota corolla car alarm remote. Things I've Noticed
I've noticed over the last few weeks, since the auto 11 bling was introduced, that the concept of "return the love" or "return the favor" has greatly diminished. Recently, I've been conducting a little experiment. I've gone to a several profiles that had the Auto 11 bling activated and rated quite a few of their pictures and their profile. 90% of the time, I didn't get 1 single rate in return. Not even a profile rate. Now I'm not one to complain about not getting rated (and I'm not doing so now) but in the interest of my experiment, it seems that a lot of the people that have the auto 11 have either decided that it isn't necessary for them to rate back since they've activated their auto 11 and have done enough or they just think they're better because of the same fact. I'm willing to bet that these very same people would be complaining about getting less than a ten or no rate at all without the auto 11. The auto 11 bling won't be around forever. I Give Up
I am finally fed up with everything and almost everybody. It seems the more I try t help people the more I get screwed . I am to the point of not caring what happens anymore, I have been hurting for quite a while because I have put other people ahead of me, I know my mother and grandmotherand family have taught me better . But enough is enough . I may let a few people in but I am going to be very cautious of who I let in . I may have a herniated disc in my back and I haven't been able to slow doewn to find out I am always worrying about everybody, I have bearly been able to get any sleep at all because of this , sitting is even worse, wait till I have to stand for a long period of time. A New Life
The time has come for me to say goodbye to my home state of Texas. I'm moving on to bigger and better things. Now that things are settled (or close enough to it) with my ex husband, I don't think the state is big enough for both of us. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm looking over my shoulder to see if he's coming after me or not. My son doesn't seem to upset about moving. He's asking me every day when we can move into our new house. For a 7 year old, he's pretty resilient. I can't wait to have everything over and done with. Ok so in late January 2008, In Kitty Hawk NC I purchased a car from an employee of mine. (For your pleasure I will give some details lol) We made a verbal agreement that I would pay him $150.00 every 2 weeks until the total balance of $1000.00 was paid off. It was a 1996 Dodge Neon 4 door. I paid a total of $300.00 for the car, in 1 month. Now, every week or so I would drive this vehicle to Norfolk Va (about 100 miles) and only to and from work any other time (2 miles) so in the one month that I had already paid for the car I put only about 650 Miles on it. During on of my trips to VA, the cars engine literally "blew-up"....according to the mechanics.... Ive found in my choices and in my experience...that there is no choice for me. Its never as easy as black and grey. Its just a decision i guess. And im not talking about drugs. My Opinion...
Just a few things I feel like I need to say here.... Anyone who knows me from when I joined almost 2 years ago knows that if there was drama I was right there in the middle of it. I associated with all the wrong kinds of people and got myself into more CherryTap fights than I even care to remember. Made a lot of enemies and just really couldn't have cared less. But things change with time. And when I started this new account I made a promise to myself that I would not be that kind of person. Ok, I have decided that I will do a drawing for an auto 11 at one of two things. Either it will be when all my autos are gone OR as soon as I level.
