Good And Bad
A little background: I’ve been trying to “domesticate” Butch, a bad-ass and semi-violent 15-lb. stray cat that adopted me, so that I can bring him into my house full-time. I originally thought I would foster him for adoption through my rescue group. I’ve become way too attached to do that now, so I am going to keep him. Good: **He doesn’t have any problem with my current cat, Mojo, who could have been the prototype of the original “’fraidy cat.” **I’m also very pleased that my 90-lb. dogs don’t bother him at all. **He is very tolerant of my two-year-old daughter, who is still trying to master the idea of “gentle” and “soft hands.” Bad: **It appears that Mojo (half Butch's size), *does* have a problem with Butch, who barely escaped a fight by allowing himself to be chased out of my house. **The reason the dogs don’t bother Butch is that they are scared of him, and with reason. so check this out. My friend is going to be auctioned off to cook at some random person’s house at his high school that he graduated from to make money for that school. So I am going to help him out. The menu will consist of: APPETIZER: Shrimp and scallop kabobs (that are skewered with fresh rosemary sprigs) over top of a shitake risotto (which is like a very sticky, and runny type of rice, with balsamic glaze drizzled on the bottom of it all. Sweet sausage ravioli with a sun dried tomato chili pesto, with veggie and potato ravioli baked in a cheddar cheese sauce topped with asaigo cheese and bread crumbs lime and tequila sorbet inside of a lime instead of a shot glass(to cleanse the pallet) SOUP: a melon five-spice soup (which will be served cold) SALAD: a bitter green salad with grilled marinated duck, with a orange cilantro coulis, and a Asian pear ginger coulis some sort of savory entremets (to cleanse the pallet) ENTRÉE: Sea bass en papillote with garl

Gone For Awhile

Not Trying To Tempt Anyone..but...
LAYERED LEMON DESSERT 1 cup flour 1/2 cup soft butter 1/3 cup ground almonds (optional) 2 tbsps sugar 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup icing sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup dream whip 7.5 oz. pkg. lemon pie filling 2 egg yolks 1/3 cup water 2 cups boiling water 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional) (1) Mix flour, butter, almonds and sugar together until mixture forms a ball and is well combined. Press into an 8" glass pan. Bake at 350f for 15-20 minutes until golden. 'COOL' (2) Beat cheese, icing sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Fold in 1/2 the whipped cream. Spread over COOLED crust. Refridgerate. (3) Prepare pie filling according to directions (omitting butter) Cool to luke warm, stirring occasionally. Spread over cheese layer. Refridgerate until cold. (4) Spread remaining whipped cream over lemon layer. Refridgerate. Garnish with sliced almonds, just before serving.

Kids Finally Here At Last
Well the kids have been here a week. Seven days today. They seem to be ajusting to life in the south just fine. They love it here. of course havent heard from their dad in about 5 days either. Countdown Clocks at WishAFriend.com I am so excited, yet a little stressed My cat has not been eating much for the past few weeks... and yesterday she started throwing up and falling over so I took her to the vet... all the tests come back normal to average for an older cat which she is.. but her blood sugar is really low (she's diabetic) and the vet thinks that she might have cancer... but its hard to diagnose cancer in animals... he did say that weather its cancer or not something is really wrong with her.. she's lost 2 pounds since November when she was last in to see the vet.. which is very bad for cats... the vet gave me some medicine that will help settle her tummy so she can eat (in case she has and upset tummy and thats why she hasn't been eating) but does not think that it will help much.. the tests that I'd have to put her through to determine what is wrong cost a lot and may just end up prolonging her suffering.. so I may just have to put her to sleep.. *sigh* I don't wa

John Fryman was convicted of killing an ex-girlfriend, he dismembered her. Well, I followed the case and took a ton of pictures, we even got to inside the trailer where she was killed and I have corresponded with him since then. This would make a great book, but I was wondering if I published it myself and put it on the in the internet and people would pay to read it.
