More observations and meanderings from moi : So apparently being a geek/dweeb or nerd is considered hip now. Yikes. That being said, i'm sure the "hipster" types will all now become "nerdy". Where does that leave me? Not that I aspired to become a nerd but I am what I am... so now I'm considered "trendy" or dare I say "hip" ? Yay for me. Or not. Not that does me any good. ---------------- I see that fubar is a microcosm of society. The "pretty" girls on Fubar ask or rather, flatly say..bling me or get me a blast or so on. So even in the realm of online geekiness..things remain the same. At least things are consistent. Sigh. ------------------- It's been relatively nice as of late...weather wise. In the mid 70's...light breezes,etc. Anyways, I've noticed that the weather becomes nicer, the moron's seem to come out of thier respective holes. I hear the guys on the rice rocket motorcycles wizzing by the apartment ..and the tricked out Honda's with farty exhausts blaring music out and about. Yes, they are the barometer for good weather. Sigh again. I've also noticed that everyone and thier mother around here has a SUV, Cadillac Escallade's all tricked out, or Lincoln's or Hummers. Good G0d, what do these people do for money? Not that if I had the chedder I'd be spending it on something as inane as tricking out my car (well I would get a new head unit for mine) but too each his or her own I suppose. What gets me is that most of the people tooling around in fore mentioned cars are less than half my age. At thier age I was driving a 1976 Ford Grenada. Times have definately changed and not for the better. ------------- talking about cars...in my apartment complex we have ample parking. that being said, everybody wants to park in the cul de sac up front. perish the thought you'd actually have to walk a extra 20 feet to your apartment. whatever. what gets me is that these people can't park worth a shit. Angle in stupid. Make available space for others to park but no. they decide to park any which way they can. G0d, i wish i still had the 76 Grenada....and wedge that bad boy between the new Mazda sports car and the uber cool Subaru Suv up front. ---------------- The people next door. Man, if I could smother someone in thier sleep it would be them. Apparently someone lives there and never carries their keys...so I hear late,LATE at night them buzzing the doors to get in. Hey Schmuck, make a another set of keys and carry them. And that annoying shoe sized dog of thiers ..the one that barks at a dust particle falling to the floor. Zip it ! I mean, g0d forbid i watch a movie on the surround sound system @ 8 pm on a Saturday night. I get the pounding on the wall. The yappy dog @ 2:20 am...well i guess that's fine. Arghhh. Did mention I loathe apartment living?
