My son is 5 years old and hes being such a jerk. He gets up at 6am and gets into the cupboards gets on the counters and when i catch him he says "I was hungry" this is about 7am. then he usually gets scolded and possible corner time. After corner time i make him and his brother go play outside well his brother (6) is a weenie and really doesn't get into ne thing, he hates getting yelled at. well my 5 year old decides hes gonna hit one of his friends with something. then he gets A. grounded B. spanked or C. i freak out and scream at him and tell him to get his ass outside and play or hes gonna spend the whole day watching the paint(corner). but yeah they eat eat breakfast lunch and dinner. and some snacks depending on when there good. i use snack and treat as a if your good youll get this type of thing. i have 4 kids(5 when my daughter is here). and he usually gets excluded from those. im sick of this game he plays every day. i need a new method of punishment. something that will stick with him so he thinks of that b4 he decides to be an ass so maybe hell think "my dads gonna get pissed and __________ will happen to me. nah its not worth it."
i would like to think its because of lack of attention but ill have my mom watch the younger 2 so we can have big kid time at the park or in the yard or playing video games.
i try my hardest to give them 1 on 1 time as well so they don't feel left out because of the baby and toddler.
Please leave a comment on what u think.. if i didn't explain well enough go ahead and ask and ill tell u what i need to fill in the blanks.
