in a life where love is the only thing, in a world where love does not exist. a heart that is full of passion, endless space and nowhere to go. a need so great to give it away, never having a place to belong. the weight of so much happiness, that dies because noone cares. the greatest gift of love's emotion, so unwilling to be given, or recieved. paths collide every day, seconds come and go by the hour. missing your chance to make someone smile, is when tears fall down like rain.

a hole in your heart is a heavy burden to carry, one that is hard to walk with on your own, and to stand alone you might as well be in that hole to bury. what if that hole was larger than you, what if it hung over you every where you went, what if you ignored it and walked around, then who would walk with you? i have noticed in the slum my shadow is my only friend, so stand up walk tall and smile they will think you have the secrets, see their life also needs to be amend!

as i sit back in my rockin' chair, and look at the world go on. i give up with out a care to find the place that i belong. its the deepest of waters that stillness has ran. its the darkest of hopes that has had no fan. it was the stab to my heart that had broken my spirit though this narrow road i do not fear it. i have prepared my self for the weight ahead. turned down many roads that end in dead we fall, we crawl, we learn to walk again bring it to me, bring it on, bring all the pain i'll carry it, and bury it, then walk with stride, for my love of life i can not hide
