There it sits.

The Rocking chair

I grew up in.

Mom's lap so comfortable and inviting

I sit down, stare out in the yard she so loved

The Yellow Dandelions, her Favorite color

The Sunflowers she grew with those green thums

The occassional car, Passer by that would always look her way

For she was a fixture

In her Rocking Chair

She's gone having passed to a better place

Though always loved you'll always be missed
