Welcome to my profile. My name is David. My current profile nickname is Playboy Penguin and it was formerly DaRth SkoRpn aKa RocKeE55. I changed it to have a lighter side to my profile and leave the dark side behind. But some people have been pushing my buttons lately and I guess trying to send me back to it. Well, bite me, I like being the playboy penguin. It's more fun. It seems like people are more judgmental on here these days and think they know what you meant with a comment and, lmao, don't have a clue. So go ahead be rude and I'll kick you to the curb faster than you can say "wait" or "stop". Don't bring your drama to my page or spout your political rhetoric on it. I'm sure there are more people on here who really don't care about your views or want to have it posted on their pages. This is a social media site where people come to have fun and get away from the helter skelter of life and politics and war.

In 2023, I was considering suicide, but one person took me by the hand and walked me back from it. I may not have her anymore but she made me stronger and convinced me that no heartbreak is worth killing yourself for. If you're having those thoughts then reach out and get help. Don't try to do it alone.

I'm a true Texan. Born and raised in the Houston area and have ties in the Hill Country and Corpus Christi area. I've been to every state but 2 and hiked in several enjoying nature and the arts there. I'm on here for the game and nothing more at this time.
Still weighing the merits of some parts of the game. It's not the same as when I joined and it has a lot to do with some of the players these days. I'll probably keep modifying this section as time goes on.

Owner ship: please don't buy me from my current owner. Very happy with her as my owner. I don't want to have to block anyone or turn it off. That said, I will if anyone ignores this.

Interests

I listen to all kinds of music but mostly prefer "old school" forms of all of them. I read all kinds of books. I watch all movie genres for the most part. But "All The President's Men" and "Marathon Man" top the list. Give me a giant monster movie, too. "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" movies are both in my library, even the eye rollers, you know the one where fans and critics said "WHY??? did that get made?" Same with the MCU and DCU.

This song resonates with me after 2023. Now when I can't reach someone I know is struggling it really hurts but I stand up for them and keep trying.
