We are talking about civil liberties and such in political science. So things like compelling interest come up, and the military and such.
So I was thinking, and reading about racial integration of the military. And thinking some more. And then, sure enough, I came across a place where I saw my thoughts. Sometimes, I am basicly the only person with my thoughts. It makes me wonder if I'm crazy sometimes, why does nobody else see things the way I do? But here it shows I'm not crazy. Other people have made the same connections. So, ya'll go and read the page if you want to see my thoughts.
The other thing that's funny, is a majority of my pollitical science class probably thinks I'm gay. lol. But it doesn't really matter, especially since my gf will be here tomarrow.
Here's my view on the don't ask don't tell policy. - It is ok to have, if they follow it all the way. Meaning basicly making the military completly aesexual. If you reveal your sexual orientation, at all, wether it be gay, or straight, or towards goats, or any other odd thing, you can get kicked out. That kinda means the end of family readyness groups. They should also make it illeagle to get married at all too, or they could make it so you could marry anyone you wanted, for any reason, so just because you marry someone doesn't mean you are sexually attracted to them. Kids would seem to be out of the question though if they looked like you. Kids by testubes, or adoption only would be allowed, because you didn't need to have sex with anyone to have them, so they don't indicate your sexual orientation. We might as well apply this to religion too, because of the dissorder it causes since people are often predjudiced against different religions, and simply haveing to share your space with them may cause conflict. So no one can announce their faith to anyone, faith is a private matter anyway that no one needs to hear about. So not talking about church, or god or anything at work either. What about colors and foods. People who like certain foods are gross. And people who like certain colors or pictures are something. So no mention of any of that at work either, since there may be a broad consenssus of people who agree, and it would be bad for good order and discipline. You should only talk about work at work anyway. People's predjuces need to be catered to, to ensure good order and discipline, we acknowledge that the idiots won't be able to function, and have riots, and not be able to deffend our country if we don't give into their predjudice attitudes, and the security of our country will be at risk. There for it is a compelling interest of nationial security to support, and go along with any such predjudices that may cause the downfall of good order and discipline. And just because I recognize the importance of having to give into other people's predjudices, doesn't mean I am predjudice, it just means I care about the security of my country. I am patriotic. ( Even though equality is one of the basic principles that our country was founded on, and other people came here to escape countries that didn't believe in equality, and now I'm enforcing inequality. ) LOL. Yah, the preceding paragraph was obviously a mockery of things. And doesn't accuratly reflect my views.
