So here is the situation:
This girl gets out of a 7 year relationship which she swears was controlling and everything she didnt want it to be. She meets this new guy and they hit it off really well. 2 months down the line theres some concerns. She seems somewhat distant. The guy and girl go out to the bar for her birthday and she takes his phone and reads all his texts. So he decides to go through hers and finds constant texts back and forth between her and her ex of 7 years. He sees texts of her saying "want me to come over?". Texts like these are on days they were supposed to hang out but she couldnt because of some excuse. He tried to bring it up with her but she gets real pissed and defensive and thinks hes controlling or possessive if he asks her questions like this so its hard to just "talk to her" about it.
Should he A) Tell her off and shove her out of his life to save the possibility of pain or B) Give her the benefit of the doubt and maybe they're just friends |
