As some of you know I grew up most of my life as an only child. Until my mother remarried. Then I got a step sister. Yeah she was older than I was, but only by a couple of years...and yes she was a pain in the ass most times. But we shared something in common. WE LOVED ROLLER COASTERS!
I just recently added her to my Yahoo messenger and she told me that she spent the whole day in Dollywood riding roller coasters! Man those were the days! We even remembered a roller coaster. We once rode a roller coaster at Kings Island called the Screamin Demon...believe it or not we almost died on that ride...safety back then was not a high priority. They eventually tore the ride down. We would wait in line for hours at a time talking to other people while we wait. Yet other older coasters just running to the deck to get on time and time again. Man that was the life!
But it got me to thinking....isn't life like a roller coaster? The anticipation of good things to come living life day to day, dreaming, while we wait in line for the next good thing to come along. Having good company with ya along the way making friends or acquaintances. Then facing your dreams your hopes head on....heart leaping in anticipation! You get on and ride that dream to the top of the hill then all of it comes to a head. Ya ride it through hills, dips, twist and turns. Then just as quickly as it started it comes to an end and ya get off.
Just remember Kiddies buy the photo they take during the ride and make the most of it....life is truly short.
