Regression

During the time I was not well, my good friend came round to see me, and as normal when we get talking, we cover many a topic some weird some not. I dont know how we got onto this subject but we did, and both of us agreed that it would be good to be regressed.I then related to him a recurring dream I have when I fall into a deep sleep. I dont know if this is some form of self regressing or not, and to be honest I dont know why this one reoccurs, but Ive had the same dream on numerous occasions and it never changes it stays the same. So here it goes, i will be interested in anybodies views on regression and what they think of it. Its a cold dark evening and Im standing in a drench looking across what I would call no mans land. By the way Im dressed and the uniform im wearing its World War one. I look along the trench at the other men sitting some sleeping some resting. An officer comes along the trench whispering to each guy, when he gets to me he tells me in 5 mins there is going to be a ceasefire to celebrate Christmas. Again as I look across No mans Land I can see slight movement in the trenches, hoping that it is their officer telling them the same. As I look towars the sky I see it for the first time the snow beginning to fall softely down. Then the silence of the night is broken by a lone voice singing:- Stille Nacht! Heil'ge Nacht! Alles schläft; einsam wacht Nur das traute hoch heilige Paar. Holder Knab' im lockigen Haar, Schlafe in himmlischer Ruh! The voice is carrying for miles in the quiet area, then it gets louder as more germans join him Stille Nacht! Heil'ge Nacht! Gottes Sohn, o wie lacht Lieb' aus deinem göttlichen Mund, Da uns schlägt die rettende Stund'. Jesus in deiner Geburt Stille Nacht! Heil'ge Nacht! Die der Welt Heil gebracht, Aus des Himmels goldenen Höhn, Uns der Gnaden Fülle läßt sehn, Jesum in Menschengestalt Then one by one unarmed german soldier walk into the middle of No mans land singing their version of Silent Night, motioning to the allied soldiers to join them. One by one they go to join them, standing shoulder to shoulder with the enemy. Each nation take it in turn to sing a carol, english, german, english german for the next couple of hours. Before each soldier returned to their respective trench a small gesture of christmas was performed as each soldier exchanged a gift with the enemy, maybe a cigarette, a bar of chocolate, then every man went on his way. At this stage i normally wake up on a cold sweat, but remembering every detail of it. I dont know if It is a story I have heard or been told, I will leave that up to you the reader to decide.
