Thrusting in and out of conciseness, Lost in a daze.

My memories blurry..... My life a haze.

Living in the past, thinking about the old days.

 

Wishing and wanting, my past is with me like a ghost forever haunting.

Stripped of reality and losing my own mortality.... I struggle.

 

My heart is broken, yet I smile, laugh, and keep on joken.

An act..... so I’ll be, what others expect of me....  my pain I will not let them see.

 

I feel hurt and betrayed, what happened to the life that I once made?

 

I feel incomplete, not good enough...........

I yearn so badly for true love.
