This is a real question so please dish out real advice.
This guy has been stalking my GF's best friend for a while now. He's been turned in, in the past and even put in jail. He is out now and I'm not really sure how long it has been since he has been out. Last night my GF got a text from her friend saying the stalker guy contacted her but she didn't respond. My GF asked to use my phone to tell him not to contact her. Sooo I let her. He text back and she text back and so on. After a while I was like babe your friend needs to contact the police and file a report I don't think that texting is going about the situation the right way especially if this dude really is a crazy guy stalking your friend. Her friend wont even block his number because she says she will have to "go in" to do it.
Am I wrong to feel like my 37 year old GF is obsessed with helping her friend? (A)
-or- is this something a good friend would do to try and help with the stalker guy
