I longed for your gentle touch. Such beauty & pride in that perfect smile. The world could have dropped from beneath me, I never would have known. There was a story in those seductive eyes. A story of forever. Finally, the last leaf on my tree of life, love & happiness. Shatter my glass heart, a dream turned into a lie. So close, Yet so distant. A tangled life, longing for your strength. A weak soul, never understanding. You, my heart and soul. Me, for you i will never know. It is haunting to know a fact as harsh as so. I want to take you, into my arms, and run till I can't anymore. You could have listened to your heart. Just hold me as my tears flow and let me know you still care. Never say goodbye. He has eyes like precious stones. They blaze like sapphire blue fire, but they are cold as ice. Living proof that love can kill. He puts hearts to death on a whim, he never thinks twice. I know from first hand. My heart is still dying. Once I let down my defences and was weak, he moved in for the kill. Through my soul the words, like the blade of a daggar. He ran his hate through my veins, disguised as love. As he watched the light go from my eyes, he looked down on the fool who dared to want him. I tried to fit his every desire, in my failure I expired. Now I know no one can love him. He will despise the one who tries. It's not the passion he wants, but vengence. From some other past life.
