RATING ACHIEVEMENTS

Rating achievements are a little more difficult than likes. People can like you simply by doing a tool tip (if you're VIP) or if you are running a power up. To receive a rate they have to actually physically come to your page. This takes a little longer and a lot are not willing to do so, unless there is something in it for them.

Let me start out by first clearing up some myths and misconceptions about rates.

1. Famps. We have tested this MANY times over. Famp rates DO NOT COUNT towards this achievement. They may help you get rated more if you run one and they will help with your daily and lifetime ranking, but famp rates do not count towards your achievement. Only the physical rates you get on your page count. You know... where they actually come to your page and click RATE. Now, as you will see shortly FAMPS WILL reset your rates.. TWICE if you time it correctly.

2. If you are in a famp the folks that rate that person first cannot rate you. Not true.. as long as you have a boomy going, the person that rated the famp you are in first CAN still come and rate you.

3. If I rate someone with a boomy it will rate me back and they will not be able to rate me. Again, not true. Since the beginning of the Boomys many people would not rate someone with another boomy thinking that person could not rate them. This is just not true. If you and I are running boomys I can come rate yours and it will rate me back. In turn, you can come rate MY boomy and it will rate you back... Again... Randy and Dee tested... and approved LOL.

Now on to the achievement itself. 

As with any achievement run I FIRMLY believe you will need a banner and pics to change during your run. This is NOT a sales pitch. Dee NOR I charge for these. If you want US to make them for you.. or you have someone else to do them for you... they help a LOT. You will need a RATE ME pic with the number of rates you are trying to achieve as well as a pic that says RATES RESET. Your banner should be passed around no more than a few days ahead of time. If you pass it around too early.. it becomes "stale" and people tend to ignore them after awhile.

I am going to give you a 4 hour timeline starting at midnight Fu Time. The time you start depends on how many rates you need and how soon you want to get them done and over with. I am a firm believer in starting ANY achievement run at bonus change, because you NEVER know when there will be a bonus change again. Whatever time you DO start, just adjust and use the same time between power ups I have in my example.

If at all possible go for your Rate Achievements on a RATE day... not a boomy day, but a RATE day. The higher the bonus, the sooner you will get done and the more money you will save. Like I said most on here are not willing to go the extra mile to come to your page and rate you unless they get something in return. On Boomy days, they get regular points. On RATE days, they usually get a lot of points in return.

OK, here we go - starting at reset. Again whatever time you start use the SAME time line in between power up activations.

12 AM Start a Boomy. Use your RATE ME Pic at this time for about 10 mins, then switch to regular run pic.

12:30 AM Activate a Famp (optional) THIS WILL RESET YOUR RATES and everyone who has already rated you can come back and rate you again. Famps are NOT required, but go a long way on getting rates via a reset. At this time change to your RATES RESET pic for TEN MINUTES. Then go back to your RATE ME or regular run pic. Keeping it up TOO long will make peeps ignore it later on.

1:30 AM Activate a Big Bang (Optional). THIS WILL RESET YOUR RATES. This is NOT required, but again goes a LONG way on getting rates on the reset. Again, put up your RATES RESET pic for TEN MINUTES ONLY.

3:30 AM Your FAMP will end. THIS WILL RESET YOUR RATES. Again, put up your RATES RESET PIC for ten minutes ONLY... again.. kinda neat on this reset.

At 4AM your first Boomy will end. At this time you will start this entire sequence again. Just adjust your start times accordingly using the same time line in between power ups. How many times you have to go through this sequence depends on how many rates you need and how well you "work your page" Make sure your privacy settings are open where everyone can see what you are doing and turn off profile privacy so new people can visit and rate. Like as MANY people as you can during your entire run. This keeps you active in the feed and will draw people to you. Mumms WILL not help with this achievement, because they give you LIKES.. not rates. Uploading videos will only be seen by a few that don’t have it edit’d out of Live Feed. Best bet is to like as MANY as you can. If you start up the power ups and try to let them do the work for you... you will most likely fail. You, nor I, nor Dee want to see that.
