IF YOU have little time for fubar, join the 3-day-a-week section: you only do the club 3 days a week.  I'm crazy busy and I try and get everyone daily--but the 3 days are a lifesaver.

Just one more thing I want to say to everyone - especially to those who are thinking of joining - I'll add anyone to this group.It doesnt matter what country you hail from, it doesn't matter what color your skin is, it doesn't matter if you're gay or straight or nonsexual, it doesn't matter WHO you pray to, ALL are welcome in my Rate Club. If you have a problem interacting with people from all walks of life, then maybe this club isn't for you...

 

CLUB NEWS/PRAYER REQUESTS

April 2024 - please keep David in your prayers -- his Dad passed away this past week, and the funeral was this weekend.  

Also Trident is having some health problems - had surgery recently.  Please check in on him :D

March 2024 - Please keep Devilish Kat in your prayers during her cancer journey.  She is a strong and amazong woman.

Prietagela broke her ankle and is in a lot of discomfort.  Think about er and keep her in your prayers. xx

March 2024 - Mom is out of the hospital and back home this past friday!  She is a tough ole bird.  She was septic (Bacteria in her blood) with a 104 fever and extremely weak. My bro rushed her to the ER and she was in hospital for 3 weeks.  PT and OST helped so much and she is back home and walking all around the house - like before. Dementia has her at the mentality of a 7 year old so she requires full time care.  Love you all - and thank you for prayers!  I'm back full time now - but still working 3 jobs. Time for fu is very limited.

October 2022 - I just found out that Jack (Nightowl) passed away.Please say a prayer for his family and him -- such a sad day. He was a great guy.

August 2022 -- I found out tonight Steeliride (Frank) passed away.His sister reached out to a friend of mine.He was disabled, but I don't know what happened.So sad.I hadn't seen him in so long on here -- and now I understand he must have gotten sick.So sad.

April 3, 2022 -- Dad passed away today.It's still so surreal - but now I have to focus on Mom and keeping her as healthy and strong as I can.It's just horrible to lose a parent.You cant imagine the pain.

March 2022 - I just heard from Tazzy (now Scoobyguy) and he's having a rough time - his Mom died and he and his GF broke up.I'm reaching out to him trying to cheer him up. I hope others might as well.My dad is 60 days now into hospitalization - Oncology said no more chemo but we said the big F you and he is working on PT and reganiing his strength and we are hoping for a new oncology group to give him more RCHOP - chemo - for his lymphoma.Never give up (unless your loved one wants to).LOVE yall!

January 2022-I haven't heard much news from the group to report.My Dad most likely has cancer - but his oncologist is moving at a snails pace and dad is declining, losing weight, cant walk far.Scaring me to death.So we are looking for a new oncologist in new orleans who will take him off and hopefully start treatment ASAP.I'm hoping for a PET scan next so we knew if/where the cancer is.Thank you for your prayers.I'm down taking care of him and Mom (she has dementia) as often as I can - and I do everything.So I dont have a ton of time for Fu.Love yall.

May 2021 -- Please pray for Happy Butt -- she has been in the hopsital.I hope she's coming home soon - I'll update you all when I hear more.xx

February 2021 -Yall - PLEASE pray for Rhonda.Her brother died unexpectedly a few nights ago -- so she won't be on for awhile.I'm not moving her to inactive - I just cant do that to her.My heart goes out to her and her family and her brother.SO sad!

January 2021 - Please keep Niteowl (Jack) in your prayers - -he is having a lot of health problems.Also please keep Double Diva in your prayers as they lay her son to rest today.

December 2020 -- such sad news around the world with so many dying from Covid.I found out recently Jamie's son died in a car accident this summer.My heart goes out to her.And the horrible news again today from Double Diva - her son passed away as well.Girls I wish I could help - I wish I could do something to help take away your pain.Please everyone, pray for these two sweethearts.We should never have to bury our children.

September 2020 - Please pray for Happy Butt's nephew, as he has been dignosed with cancer.Also keep Nanny to an Angel in your prayers - it's the Anniversary of her granddaughter's death and she is sad, which we can all understand. xx

August 2020 - sorry I haven't been keeping up with news.With the pandemic, and losing my job of 30 years, now hubby hasCovid - it's just a little too much for me.Praying we all stay safe!xx

March 2020 -- well Yall -- the world has changed SO much in such a short period of time.3/4 of us are home bound -- many in quarantine -- praying for all of you.I read today that 1000 folks had died from Thurs - Sat (March 28 - today) that it just made me cry.PLEASE stay indoors and only go out if needed.My family is finding out quickly what has been in the freezer for awhile!lol.

Our lives have changed SO MUCH during this month.Covid-19 is killing thousands and its so heartbreaking.I hope Fubar helps you all - helps you to forget for a little while, and to have members who care for each other.HUGS all.

February 2020 - 19th - 7Footer said he had a death in the family and will be out of town until Sunday.Please say a prayer for him and his family xx.

January 2020-20th - Prietagela's sister passed away from heart failure.Please say a prayer for her and her family xx

Today is Tuesday, Dec. 23, the 358th day of 2008. There are eight days left in the year. Today's Highlight in History: On Dec. 23, 1968, 82 crew members of the U.S. intelligence ship Pueblo were released by North Korea, 11 months after they had been captured.

I'm so sad tonight. A lot going on in my life right now and I got a call from my mom that has upset me beyond belief. While on a driving trip to Florida last week, my Dad had to pull over to the side of the road as he wasn't feeling well. He then lost consciousness and had symptoms that sounded like a stroke. My mom was on some freeway and there were no roadmarkings -- so when she called 911 she had no idea where to tell them to come. My dad is in good health - stays very active but is 71 years old. My dad came to - and said he was "fine" - so Mom took over driving and they proceeded to spend a week in Florida. They are home now and Dad had surgery two days ago - thank goodness tehy didn't have do general anesthesia with him being 71. he's home and doing well - and we're just trying to get him in to see a cardiac doctor as family is wondering if it was a heart arrhythmia and not a mini-sroke. He has never had heart problems before; so this is all just so unbelievable. I know that people lose their parents and come to live with it - but i"m not ready yet. My folks mean the world to me - even as much as we argue -- and I just don't want to face the fact that they are getting older. I just need to be positive and be thankful they are on this earth still. I have so many friends who've lost their parents and it just rips my heart out to think of what they are feeling. Please... say a little prayer for my dad for me? His name is Tuck. Thanks guys -- all my friends mean the world to me.

Well - I just got back from a weekend out of town. My friend killed himself last week and it sent me into a tailspin. I needed to be alone and cry and think about my life. I got a hotel room and holed up in there. Yesterday I went to get my bellbutton repierced but got there at 3 which was too late. So I went to a mexican restaurant I use to go to ages ago (adore their brown sauce). Sat at the table alone and let the tears fall - the place was empty. Got 64 oz of frozen daiquiris -- some cigars and went back to the pool-side area and talked with friends around the country. That did so much good. Got pretty trashed last night and fought all night on the phone with my spouse -- so much for relaxing. I feel a little bit relaxed today - I'm home and the house is empty. I was accused of some horrible things --- and I just don't care. I was there alone - I rented the room alone - I paid for the room alone. I was there to try and get my head together. And those who think I WENT WITH SOMEONE to the hotel can kiss my lily white ass. I mean it -- people who think of me in a certain way have NO clue what my life is like. But.... I'm glad I woke up this morning. That always makes a good start to the day. On the way out of town I went by this morning to my old doctors office (he's still there after Katrina - bless his soul) - and to places I applied for jobs and where my old job was. Brought back some good memories -- it was a good trip overall.

People keep telling me that it's silly to be on Fubar -- I'm on here too much and it's the damn truth. But I have a theory about Fubar. And I think it came into my life at a time when I needed it the most. My theory about Fubar is.... that everyone (whether they admit it or not) wants to be noticed. And who doesn't want people to read what you have to write -- look at your most prized possessions (your photographs) -- see what music you like -- what books you like to read - what movies you love or hate -- what makes you laugh (comedies) and what makes you cry (sad stories). I mean everyone wants to be noticed... and here is a place where you can reach out to people and where people can reach out to you. Even if you only talk for a few minutes -- the thought that you might be able to say something that could touch that person's life? Or change that persons life? I did that with my friend Jamie (i hope) - convinced him to get back on his antidepressant - and I see that he is better able to cope and is so much happier (I work in the medical field). And TODAY David did that for me - he said something that woke me up and helped me cope for today. I mean, my gosh, people --- quit asking for boob pictures and reach out and connect with people. YOU COULD MAKE A FRIEND FOR LIFE HERE. I know I have.....
