There is something about my job that is starting to break part of me down I think.  I find myself being less tolerable of people who say and do what I think is stupid shit.  I have heard it all and the excuses for it all.  At least until the next day when I take more calls.  The people I talk to during my work day on the whole are pretty decent people and easy ones with which to converse.  They make my day go by swiftly and they don't bore me.  Then there are the bad ones.  It seems that, for the most part, if I see a birthday anywhere from the early 80s and up or the 50s and back, my heart sinks because I know it's going to be a difficult call.  I think that if you're under 25 there is no fucking way you need a Blackberry.  You also tend to be too dumb to operate one, and too ignorant to act respectfully to the person on the other end of the phone trying to help you.  It seems that the less you pay for your phone and your plan personally, the ruder and more obnoxious you get, and more insistent that the earth will fucking MOVE for you at your command, because by fuck, you got a fuckin BLACKBERRY. 

It doesn't work that way kids.  Actually, the MORE you spend gets more of a reaction from me, and the more polite you are the more willing I am to help you.  Mind you, I will still help you as long as I can, but if you're a bitch or a fuckup, I'm not going to go that extra mile.  If you call up with the attitude that you're going to get your way no matter what, you most likely won't.  Why?  Policy mostly, as well as the truth that, despite the fact that you're an asshole, I'm giving you the ways that will save you money first.  If I send you another phone and RIM says wow, they didn't even want to do a reload of the software on this which would have fixed it?  They charge your account the cost of the replacement, simple as that. 

I don't know what it is, but it seems like it's girls who are under the age of 25 who are the worst bitches.  Guys can be bitches too mind you, but it seems like the absolute worst are the ladies.  If it wasn't true I wouldn't have said it.  I have run into my share of cool chicks to talk to, but yeah.  Maybe they're so used to getting their own way since they're such fucking lil princesses to begin with, who knows?  I just know that they need to be given a stern talking to about how people should be treated in the world, and on my last day ever at that center, by fuck are they ever going to find out.  If I don't have at least half of them in tears I'll consider my last day a failure.

A lot of times, the bad ones during a day just make me loathe to even talk to anyone else when I get home.  I feel like I just want to go to bed, sleep it away, and maybe I'll feel better by the morning.  The last thing I want to do sometimes is talk to anyone else.  I just talked to people for over 8 hours, and close to half of them were assholes.  My voice is almost worn out too if I get a lot of long calls.  My typing fingers tend to be a bit sore, and not all of them bend all the way like they used to.  Maybe I'm getting old, and yeah I probably am, but as soon as I find a new/better job I'm out of this one.  I just hope I hardly have to talk to ANYONE in it, or the bare minimum.  The good ones and the people I work with keep me there, the bad ones will drive me out of it because I know eventually there will be more bad than good. 

Oh, and one last thing to the REALLY dumb ones:  THERE IS NO SUCH FUCKING THING AS A FUCKING NOKIA BLACKBERRY.
