*Start of Rant*
Went and got my new shoe fitted today .... fucking lovely it is, here have a look .....

After I had that thing fitted and having to put up with all the people staring on the bus ... I can just imagine all the old biddies whispering to each other ....' poor soul, bless her she has a club foot'. Club foot my arse, you'll have a club head in the minute if you don't stop whispering about me. Paranoia setting in??? ... Fuck yes, it would happen to you if you had to lug that damn thing around with you. And Jesus H Christ it makes you feet sweat.
Then I went to the dentist to have the rest of my root canal filling done, the anaesthetic is now wearing off and it bloody well hurts.
Then, about 30 mins ago (as if my day wasn't fucked up enough) I received a call from the hospital ...
Caller: Hello Miss Fraser, i'm calling about your appointment for a CT scan, how does the 30th August sound?
Me: *stunned* .. did you say the 30th August?
Caller: Yes!
Me: So your asking me to walk around for the next 5 weeks with a fractured foot and a moonboot on which feels like it actually weighs a tonne?
Caller: Yes, this is the earliest appointment we have.
Me: NO, IT ISN'T! I SAID .... I HAVE A FRACTURED FOOT WHICH I HAVE HAD FOR THE PAST 11 WEEKS, IF YOU THINK I'M WAITING ANOTHER 5 BLOODY WEEKS YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN.
Caller: Well this is all we have. Mr Asswipe hasn't marked it as urgent.
ME: Not good enough, I have a fractured foot and if you think i'm waiting another 5 weeks you are bloody well mistaken. I was told last Wednesday that the scan would be within 7 to 10 days. First the hospital sends me home without any form of support when the cast was taken off, KNOWING that my foot was still fractured and I was advised by DR. Idon'tknowafuckingthing that I could return to working 60+ hours a week, where I am constantly on my feet. However, my GP had the good sense to sign me off until last Wednesday when I was back having another x-ray ..... where I was told by a DR. Thiswomanmustbestupid, that no way could I walk on this foot. .... and I would have to wear this delightful moonboot in the interim.
Caller: Well i'm sorry but we just make the appointments.
Me: *under my breathe ...FFS!* ... Just put me through to DR. Asswipe's secretary because i'm fed up of all this shite!
Caller: Well, we have an appointment for next Wednesday, would that be ok???
EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?????? *rips hair out*. ... Now why couldn't she just give me that damned appointment in the first place??? I swear these people just try to piss you off on purpose.
