Hi Folks...
I was asked if I Photoshoped my Photos. No,, I Corel Photo Paint them...as with most all of the photos we put Up I de-rez them down to about 20% of the raw images and resize them down to about 200k to save the site band width and folks load times. I also do color tuning with contrast, mix, hue, brightness and every tool I can find to make the image on screens you see as I see them in my head... Sometimes that vision may not be actually what the camera saw... I blame it on the 60's...
But all the photos on the site, with the exception of a very few that are either old family photos or old photos we found of poloroids from days gone by, are taken with one of 3 cameras, most with a Fuji 5200 pro digital due to ease and I'm lazy. But when I actually want to take a picture for keeps I use a Minolta SRT-100 manual with various lens I have. I also have a SRT-101 body for the self timer but they are the same otherwise. I have rebuilt the bodies 3 times since I traded a Fender Dual-Showman guitar for them in 1977... Love em.. I'm cheap too...
Will they take photos that will match the new fangled whizz bang, get a knatt's anal cavity at 200 meters cameras of today... Nope... But they produce stuff that pleases Sondra and I... Tis my primary audience.
Would I like a ESO 50D with a EF 400mm f/5.6L lens, Extender EF 2x, EF-S 1855mm f/3.55.6USM Standard Zoom lens and a hard case. YouBetcha !!!! Santa ifn your are lurking in the mist I promise to be Good.. Sometimes Better and promise to capture the world around as I percieve it and place the photos out for all to critique and enjoy or despise except for maybe 1 in a 10,000 that might put another hot dog on the grill.. I’ll share!....
