The mind so strong The mind so weak The mind ever lasting The mind never ending. The Mind blocks what it hates The Mind sees what it loves Yet its the heart that guides us to truth The heart tells us whats right and wrong And in all that we are Our minds tend to grab for control. Our Hearts fight Our Hearts cry Our Hearts love Yet our minds block all Our minds control our pain Our minds control everything Yet its our soul that is most important and what we do to it controls how we think and how we feel For the mind is hardest to control while the heart is easiest to hide and our soul shines or dims according to all around us. Friendships are kind Friendships are tough Friendships are caring Friendships are rough. Friendships are hardest to cultivate Friendships are easiest to maintain. For friendships are created and found While love is sought after and desired Friendships are tough and sometimes very rough While love is soft and fragile. We tend to make friends easiest We tend to lose lovers faster But what we forget Is lovers are friends also. Its the inability to space love from friendship that makes love hardest to hold. But when we find true friendship Nothing can crack its hull. Its a ship stronger then any other Its a vessel so large That it shall never be filled And noone will ever try. For the greatest of all things a lover can give is friendship to the one they love A friendship of understanding and compassion a Friendship of checks and balances A friendship of meeting half way, and speaking when things are not right.
